Beautiful Bridge by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps

Hi guys!!
I have a beautiful stamp to share called
Beautiful Bridge by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.
So many ideas on this one ~
Beautiful Bridge

These cads are completely different.  One showcasing PanPastels and
color while the other showcases the opposite.  I love a vintage look.  Old paper
and a distressed look.

Card #1

The image is stamped with Archival/Jet Black ink on about a 5" x 7"
sized white cardstock.  I knew I wanted to create a tag so the base
needed to be longer.  I used the Day & Night PanPastels along with the
Sunset & Sunrise set to color the image.  The Boys with Pets stamp
set was used to add the silhouette image at the base of the bridge.
The Lily Pond set is where the small silhouette frog came from.
The birds are from the Birds 11 set.

Card #2

This card is created using Distress Oxide inks.  I was going
for a vintage distressed look.  The image is stamped over the
background. I took a water bush and removed the ink
around the lily pads. Water was speckled on the card front
to add the aged look.
All cards are adhered with adhesives Scrapbook
 Adhesives by 3L.

Daddy's Home by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps

 Hi guys!
I'm sharing another stamp called Daddy's Home
by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.
It is really sweet!!!
Daddy's Home

I thought this was the sweetest image.
Card #1

This card is stamped with Archival/Jet Black ink and
colored with PanPastels.  I used both sets, the Day & Night
and the Sunrise & Sunset.  After the coloring was
completed the card front was sprayed with a sealer and
then matted to created a card.

                                                                               Card #2

On this card I used Distress Oxide inks to create the blue sky
background.  The elements in the stamp are colored
with Distress Oxide inks also.  The Humming bird (feasting
on the purple flowers) is from the Birds 11 set.  The black cat is
from the Girls & Pets set.
Easy and cute!!!

Gone Fishin' by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps~

 Hi Guys!!
You are gonna love this one.
The perfect man stamp!!
Gone Fishin'

I really love it!!! Dad and son, Granddad and grandson spending time together.
Doesn't get any better than this.

Card #1

The water and sunset sky were created with PanPastels. I used the
Day & Night set for the water and  the Sunrise & Sunset
for the evening sky.  The Gone Fishin' image is stamped
on the water line.  I used a Misti  so I could
re-stamp several times to get good coverage.  So important
when stamping with silhouette image stamps. The sentiment was added.

Card #2

This card is really simple to create.  Stamp the image on an
old map.  I used the Misti so I could re-stamp to get good
coverage.  Stamp the sentiment inside the boat using a
VersaMark ink pad.  Emboss with white embossing powder.
I really loved this one!!!
All adhesive used is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Silhouette Cattails by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps~

 Hi guys!!
Great news to share~
I'm guesting for Blue Knight Rubber Stamps this month and
then re-join the team in January.  Looking forward to
creating scenes with their gorgeous stamps!!
Silhouette Cattails

When sharing my examples using the stamp, I will have an original card (no added
stamps) and a card that I have added one or more stamps to enhance a scene.
Card #1 (original)

In creating this card I first added the sky in with several
colors of PanPastels.  I used the Day & Night set for the sky and
the Sunrise & Sunset for the hint of orange.  Archival/Leaf Green
was used to stamp the Silhouette Cattails stamp. The cattails and branches
were colored using colored pencils.  The card was sprayed with sealer to
protect the PanPastels from smearing.

Card #2 (added stamps)

Repeating the first step as in the card above.  I stamped the
Silhouette Cattails with Archival/Jet Black ink over
the sky and water that were created using PanPastels. The second
stamp added was the Reeds and Ducks.  I masked off two of the
ducks only stamping three in the center of the pond.
All adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Little Country Church by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps~

 Hi guys!
I wanted to share a super sweet card today.
I'm creating with Little Country Church by
Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.

The image is stamped on white cardstock with Archival/Jet Black
ink. The coloring is done with PanPastels and colored pencils. I also used a black
fine tip sharpie to extend the rock wall and fence line behind
the church.  The card is about a 5" x 5".  I felt like it was to
small to add the sentiment (which is so sweet) love it, so instead
I added the silhouette girl and cat from the Girls with Pets
stamp set.  The little birds are from the Birds 11 set.
All of the adhesive is by Scrapbook Adessives by 3L.

Vintage Car by Darkroom Door~

 Hi guys!
I have a couple of Vintage Card/Eclectic stamped cards to share
by Darkroom Door. This is from the current release and makes
a great guy card!!

These are simply created. No special supplies needed.

I used the Vintage Car set to create the background. Stamp the small
cars on the cardstock and then do the Distress Oxide inks
to the background.  Gives it a funky look!!  The focal is stamped and
matted and then added to the card front.

The Journey stencil was used to create the background
on this card. Then the Distress Oxide inks were
used to add color to the background.  The focal Vintage Car,
was stamped and cut out and then added to the
card front.  The sentiment was added next.

Products used: Darkroom Door: Vintage Car/Eclectic
Sketchy Stars, Vintage Automobile set, Journey Med. Stencil.
other: Distress Oxide inks, Archival/Jet Black, Scrapbook

Filmstrip/Seashells by Darkroom Door~

Hi guys!
I have another Filmstrip stamp to share by Darkroom Door.
This one is called Seashells.  It pairs with the Seashell set and
background stamp so well.

On both of the cards the background is created using
Distress Oxide inks.  In case you haven't noticed I love
using this ink.
When watered down it is like  watercoloring
but better.  It leaves imperfections that look really
cool in the stamped image.  The Filmstrip stamp is stamped
with Archival/Jet Black.

On both cards I used Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L for adhesive.

Products used: Darkroom Door: Filmstrip/Seashells, Fishing Net,
Sketchy Stars, Happy Sentiment Stamp, Shells Background,
 Open Sea Quote, Seashells set.
other: Distress Oxide ink, Archival Jet Black, Misti /stamp

Flimstrip/Ocean Life by Darkroom Door~

Hi guys!!
I have a couple cards to share using the newly
released Filmstrip/Ocean Life by Darkroom Door.

The first card is showing how it can be used as an
awesome background stamp.

The Filmstrip is stamped 3 times on a stamping platform (Misti). I do this so
I can re-stamp to get a good dark border on the Filmstrip image.
The strips are colored with Distress Oxide inks and then cut to make a wonky
background. The Frame/Filmstrip stamp is used to showcase the
Fish and Seahorse.

The second card is created with distress Oxide inks to create
a ocean background.  I used the Arty circles stencil to create
the bubbles.  The Filmstrip is colored with Distress Oxide inks
and adhered to front of card.  The fish are from the Under The Sea set
by Darkroom Door. All adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Products used: Darkroom Door: Filmstrip/Ocean Life
Under The Sea, Tropical Island, Filmstrip Frame and Arty Circles/small
 stencil.

Joyful Christmas by Darkroom Door~

 Hi guys!
I'm creating with Joyful Christmas by Darkroom Door
and I love it!! Such a jolly fun set!

I love the Santa, so retro!!! Love the black and white version.

I started with stencils to create the background for the
cards.  Distress Oxide and Archival ink is what was used
for color.

The Santa is stamped with Archival/Jet Black and then trimmed
out and adhered to card front.  The numbers are stamped using
Distress Oxide.  The card is sprinkled with water to give
the background a distressed look.

The Christmas Tree is stenciled on with the Christmas
Tree set/sm. stencil. I used Distress Oxide for the tree
and then sprinkled with water for the distressed look.

Products used:
Darkroom Door: Joyful Christmas, Lots of Labels, Sketchy Stars,
Mesh stencil/lrg., Brick Wall stencil/sm., and
Christmas Tree set stencil /sm.
other: Ranger: Distress Oxide inks, Archival ink and

Christmas Bush with Darkroom Door~

Hi guys!
I'm creating with the new set by Darkroom Door called
Christmas Bush!

This set would be great using the traditional colors of
Christmas or using the stamps like a silhouette image.
I have an example of both~

I started with background stamps on white cardstock for
both cards. A great starting place!

This card was created with two inks, Distress Oxide and Archival
Jet Black. Very simple and festive.  I used a stamping platform
on this one, so I could re-stamp, to insure a good strong
 black impression.

On this one I used the small ink pads by Ranger so I
could get ink where I wanted and didn't want :):) ~ I
only have a few small inks but did have the colors I needed
.

Products used:
Darkroom Door: Christmas Bush, Christmas Script BG, Torn Text BG,
Lots of Labels, Christmas Reindeer, Filmstrip.
other: Ranger: Archival, Distress Oxide ink.
