Try It Tuesday~

Hi everyone, I have great stuff today!!! Have you seen the new Crazy 8 Punch by WRMK? It is super cool especially if you love die cut papers and I DO!!!!

This one is a round scallop design, but each punch cuts three different designs.

Place your cardstock type paper in the punch and punch clockwise ~ after each punch take out any loose paper cuts from underneath the punch.

Do all four corners and you are ready to flip the paper to the back side.

I used Jenni Bowlin/Maggie, Bazzill cardstock, Making Memories tiny alphas, buttons and twine.  I used Helmar adhesive ~

Country Living Show~meeting Jenni and Jared!!

Hubby took me to the Country Living Show in Austin yesterday and it was fantastic!!!! I got to meet Jenni Bowlin and her hubby~what a thrill, super nice people!!!!



The booth was set up so cute~so many things had me saying, adorable!!! Her booth was in the barn area, it was dark in there but the pictures are fine.  They will give you an idea of how she sits up and what she sales!! So here we~ these are things that caught my eye!!!

Craft Crossing~take a look!!!

A Fun Post~really!!!!

Here ya go ~ a fun post!!!! We had a ton of fun recently at a game and I'm a BIG Spurs fan~ love watching NBA basketball, so now you know!!!! Made this "Spurs" folder for all of our cool memorabilia from the games we get to go to.

I used Bella Blvd./Teams paper~perfect for this!!!

Just another pic of the Spurs fans!!!!

I made two 6X12 cardstock sheets and adhered the pictures I took that night to the cardstock sheets.  The two sheets slip right into the folder.  I have plenty of room for the schedule and tickets~

You can see they stick up and pictures show, giving a hint of more photos.  I used Helmar 450 Quick Dry to put this folder together {so it would stay together}.  I love making these folders ~ perfect for when you have memorabilia you want to keep with the pictures!!  Shimelle has a version of this also !!!

Craft Crossing class with Penci!

Hi everyone!! Wanted to share with you the results of a class I took Saturday, at Craft Crossing by Penci!!  She loves all things by Tim Holtz.  She has taken more than several classes by him and her work shows it~

This is a canvas using the resist paper by Tim Holtz and the Distressed Inks.  Not really my thing but I must say I had a blast and learned so much!!!! And I came away loving this project!! Here are some more pictures ~

Love the classes at Craft Crossing!!! There is so much I don't know when it comes to the Ranger products~so show me !!!

Try It Tuesday~remember this!

Love old printer blocks~but in my area I don't find very many!!  I got lucky and came across these, they were a $1 each~screaming { at the top of their lungs} to go home with me so..........they did!!!

My inspiration on these came from a fellow crafty girl {Betsy}!!  She is on Jenni Bowlin's DT and she is pretty much an{outside the box} thinker.  Here{go} is her piece that inspired me~ and here is mine

I did two and the other one is for Vintage Street Market so it will be shown at a later date!  This one is done with Jenni Bowlin Studios and Helmar 450 Quick Dry~

After I figured out **what** and **what** it went together smoothly!!! Very fun project and I love the look of it!!! Basically you just keep adding layers until it looks balanced~

Helmar~my last post!

Hi everyone!! I wanted to share my last Helmar blog post.  I had such a fun time working with Buttons Galore and More. Anytime I get to play with buttons~I love it!!!  I made a button garland and some button cards~so fun!!

and then I did a layout of our wildflowers this year, using Susiebee Studios pattern papers.  These papers were perfect for showcasing the Texas wildflowers of 2012.

I also used some Prima flowers, Canvas Corp and Tattered Angels mists. I had just purchased a "I {heart} wildflowers" stamp by Texana Designs ** swoon** love it!!

and I used the awesome, fabulous, star of Helmar~450 Quick Dry to adhere all of these creations together!!! Have a great Monday, I'm going to try!! See ya soon~

Helmar news and randomness~

Good morning~off to teach my class at Craft Crossing!! Wanted to give a big shout out to the new and returning Helmar gals!!  I'm sure  a public announcement will be made soon~so exciting when a new team comes on.  My last post with Helmar is up on the blog.  I served two terms with Helmar and thought it was time for me to move on down the road~the gals will love working on this team!! It is special for sure!!!

Hubby got me a new camera and I'm taking test pictures!!:)  The first one is where I photograph my work. I have good natural light and I love that old shelf to display my work on.  It is suppost to hang on the wall but hubby put a stand on it, so it sits so perffect!!! A close friend gave it to me and I left it in orginal conditional!!!
