Try It Tuesday ~ collections, anyone?

Hi guys!
I have another vintage collection to share with you for Try It Tuesday.  I don'y know why old vintage games inspire me, but they do.  Some of these I have had for a long time, so what I paid has long been forgotten.
These are really cool and you can tell they were much loved and played with.

This set has a really colorful box, caught my eye.

I'm sure these are not old but they are handmade ~ another reason to love them :)

This card set is about the size of a 5 x 7 photo.  When I bought them many moons ago, they were for a gag gift.  Now I think they are really neat and different.
They would make neat covers for score keeping books.

Even cool on a scrapbook page  for layering a photo.

Thought these would be neat and fun on scrapbook pages :)

Another road trip in the near future.  Taking the grands back home.

Brushed Daisies by Darkroom Door~

Hi guys!
I have had my grands for a couple of weeks and I can't wait to share with you some of the crafty things we did.  In the meantime check out the new release of stamps by Darkroom Door~
awesome red rubber:)
Instructions~
Stamp out the large Daisy in black ink and cut it out. That will be the mask for the Daisy when the background is stamped.  Ink up large Daisy stamp with ink marker pens and stamp on cardstock.  Cover stamped image with mask and stamp the Polka Dot background directly on top of mask. That will give you the Polka Dot background without disturbing the Daisy. Mat on cardstock.  Add zig zag stitched border to bottom of card. Add sentiments and rhinestones to the center of the Daisy.

DRD products:
Sets: Brushed Daises, Stitched Borders
Background: Polka Dots

Other:
Ranger Archival Ink
Tim Holtz Distressed ink
Marker pens
Paper: cardstock and Jillibean Soup

More inspiration using the Brushed daisies set can be found on Darkroom Door's blog.

One Little Word ~ Enough, with Clear Scraps!

Hi, Connie here to share with you OLW ( one little word)  for 2015, using an acrylic word cutout by Clear Scraps. My word is ENOUGH.  I never seem to know when a enough is really enough.  I'm especially talking about my creative work. I want to do it all.  I do art, be creative, everyday during the week. It is my day job. I treat it like a job~I love it!!!  But sometimes ENOUGH already, I need that happy medium:)

Enough3

I used the Deco Shape to mount the ENOUGH acrylic word on.  It is covered with torn pieces of vintage book paper.  It is adhered, on the acrylic, with Beacon Decoupage.  The word is colored black with StazOn Ink.  The back is stenciled on with the Chevron 6x6 stencil using the black StazOn ink.

Vintage Mickey~ junkin'.

This cup was given to my boys when they were "oh, so small".
I love the graphics on it and aged look.  It doesn't have a date ~

This trash can has been with us over 35 years~
When we moved I couldn't let it go.  So many memories (from a trash can).
It is the trash can in my craft room.

Can't forget this guy~

Framed out and in my craft room too!

No Micky related but related to me~by name only.  Found this shortly after my
dad had passed and had to have it.  A vintage scrapper. $10
