Wishes for you by S.e.i.~

Hi, Connie here with a scrapbook page using the Wishes for you Collection by S.e.i.  This collection has bright papers and is full of all kinds of stickers that work perfect for a scrapbook page or cards!

I love clustering embellishments, like stickers and die cuts, together in group.  Over lapping the stickers and popping them up adds dimension to your page and brings attention to the photo.

I love using the Tumble Dye as a mist when I have completed the layout.  It gives it a great look and so easy to apply.  Just take the lid off and tap with your finger and small drops will come out.  Very easy to control the dye this way.

Try It Tuesday~ just make it pretty !

    Hi guys!
Thanks for stopping by for Try It Tuesday.  I was just messing around with my gel plate
adding some green and blue tones to print on a square piece of canvas.  I ended up with six different colors, of paint, on my canvas piece.

Not only did I get the canvas pieces painted, I also got a couple of pages in my
art journal prepared by cleaning the brayer on the journal pages
I have a couple of pages ready for stencils and stamps, just need to do it.
    I think I'm scared I'll like it :)

I decided I would make a cover for my pocket dictionary, that is used frequently.
I just folded over the ends, to make a flap, and then glued it together.

    Products used:
    Stencils: Clear Scraps, Faber Castell
    Acrylic paint: Deco Art
    Canvas: Canvas Corp
    Buttons: Buttons Galore & More
    Other: Gelli Arts, brayer

    Notepads with S.e.i.

Hi, Connie here with a cute idea for a back to school teacher's gift using the Wishes for you Collection from S.e.i.  This collection has pretty paper and cute stickers, perfect for this project.

You can make three of these notepads from one sheet of pattern paper.  First you need to make a stop at an office supply store and have them cut the legal size notepads in fourths for you. Some places charge and some don't. If you like the pads to be wider, have them cut in to  thirds.  I have made them in both sizes.

Lay your notepad on the pattern paper and size it up, like you would mat a photo.  Should be around 2 1/2" W x 12" L.  You will need a small strip to cover up the top part of the notepad.  That is what you will adhere the sticker and sentiment to.

Teacher's love these decorated notepads, that are super cute on their desk.  S.e.i. has cute paper collections that would be really made up for teachers or you!!

I started with the binder first and added a piece of stenciled sticky back canvas to cover the white plastic.  I used a border stencil by Clear Scraps to add a design.  They make some really cute ones! The border was stenciled on using black acrylic paint.
