Try It Tuesday~ A meaningful Flower Box!

Hi guys!
Glad you are here for Try It Tuesday~
I have a really neat re-purpose to show you~
I started out with this ~
My dad made this for the back of a choir chair at his church.
* I love that mom gave it to me.
* I love that he made it with his own hands.
* I love that he designed this.
* I love that it was his original idea.
*I love that it was his.

* I love that he dated it and numbered it. So him!
I hope I did it justice~

* The front panel is painted with black paint then stenciled.
* I put six eggs in the nest, representing my six "loves".
* The two bird nests represent my two sons and their wives.
* The roses are from my hubby, over the years.
I dry them and save them for projects.
* There are three roses (dried) from my dad's funeral.
* The sticker says~ "All things grow with love"
* They really do!!!

Clear Scraps~ home decor!

Hi guys!
I have a home decor piece to show you using the cover from the Overall chipboard album
by Clear Scraps.  This is a fun way to display photos.

The paper is by Kaiser Crafts.  The hanger it is on, is from a junkin' trip.
So a doll hanger would work great:)

All I did was tie the chipboard Overall to the hanger, after it was decorated.
This is what I used by Clear Scraps~

February Club Q by Quick Quotes~

Hi, Connie here with a couple of projects using the February Club Q by Quick Quotes.  The kit is full of pretty die-cuts and lots of pretty paper.  I had a ton of fun and got my hubby's Valentine made!

I started out with three boxes, all an inch difference in size.  Example: 4"X 4", 3"X 3" and 2"X 2" Take a 1/4" of of each box and cut 6 panels of paper , for each box size. Example: large box, 3 3/4" X 3 3/4".  Do the same for the medium and small box.  Shade all the panels with Razz-berry PowderPuff Chalking ink by Quick Quotes. Adhere each panel to the sides and tops of all three boxes.

Color the chipboard flower with Razz-berry PowderPuff Chalk ink and the leaves with Green With Envy PowderPuff Chalk ink.  Cut the trim and adhere flower to the trim.

You are ready to fill the boxes with your favorite treat ~ enjoy!

My last project ~ a scrapbook page !!   Just so he will remember where all of those Hershey Kisses came from~
