Hi, Connie here to share my May tag using the Film Strip Chipboard embellishment along with the 6" Flourish Branch stencil by Clear Scraps. The ranch is really green and I have been taking lots of photo's so that is the inspiration for the May tag.
I have prepared a collage showing the steps in creating this tag.
Cover the chipboard tag with pattern paper. I chose a newspaper print. Use Black StazOn ink to add color to the Film Strip chipboard piece. Add pattern paper behind the Film Strip chipboard piece. Stencil background, using the 6" Flourish Branch, on the tag front and then adhere the Film Strip chipboard piece to tag front. Finish by adding flowers, a butterfly and rhinestones. Add twine and ribbon to complete the tag.

Clear Scraps: 6" Flourish Branch stencil
other:

Try It Tuesday~ stamping mask!
Hi guys!
Thanks for stopping in for Try It Tuesday.
I'm creating with the Film Strip Border stamp by Darkroom Door (remember
I said you would see it again) and want to show you how to make a mask for your images that you don't want to get ink on while stamping.
I only wanted the tops of the ladies in the film section so a mask was
needed to block off the other areas. I'm using Little Ladies by
Darkroom Door stamp set.
Instructions:
1. Stamp the Film Strip Border stamp on white cardstock with Black Archival ink.
2. Stamp a few sections of the border stamp on white cardstock and trim it out.
3. Cut the middle section out on the first frame.
4. Place the mask over the stamped border image.
5. Stamp the image, you want to be inside the frame, with Archival ink.
6. Continue this process until all 6 frames have a stamped image. Cut the Film Strip in half.
This process gives you frame sections for two cards.
Supplies included:
Darkroom Door: Film Strip Border Stamp. Little Ladies.
Ranger: Archival Ink

Stamping with Quick Quotes PowderPuff Chalk inks!
Hi, Connie here with a scrapbook page using the Quick Quotes PowderPuff Chalk inks to stamp elements for the page. The Canon iP8720 Printer created a collage, using some of my favorite photos, for this scrapbook page.
Steps:
The collage was created first using the Canon iP8720 Printer. Very easy to do using the Image Garden software that comes with the printer.
The program has templates that you can choose from, once that is done, load photos from your computer and then select the ones you want to add to the template. It really is that easy.
The cute barn critters are stamped embellishments created using the Quick Quotes PowderPuff Chalk inks.
The title was colored by applying the PowderPuff Chalk inks by Quick Quotes to the chipboard letters. So quick and easy!!! Any color becomes so easy to achieve with Quick Quotes PowderPuff Chalk inks!
Products used:
Quick Quotes: Farmhouse: 104 and 107, Anchor's Aweigh
Quick Quotes PowderPuff Chalk inks: Amaretto, Jade, Bora Bora, Green Leaf and Royal Blue.

Clear Letter Box by Clear Scraps!
Hi, Connie here with a really cool project created using the Clear Box Letter Box by Clear Scraps. This is the second box I have created using this product. I changed it up this time. Instead of standing upright I have it laying on the back of the box. Let me show you ~
My inspiration was to create a bin for my photos that are in line to scrapbook. This was achieved by turning the box on its back and attaching feet to the back of the box. The 4 X 6 photos will fit, corner to corner. I am showing, in the above photo, smaller pictures that will lay flat. I have a picture to show you how to lay out the box and adhere it together.
The box is easy to assemble. I used Quick Grip by Beacon to adhere the sides together. The paper was adhered to each section with Zip Dry by Beacon. Once the box is assembled the feet are ready to put on. Quick Grip was used for this also. Works fast. The last part was to embellish the top of the box. Beacon 3 IN 1 was used to adhere the embellishments to the top of the acrylic box.

Junkin' in Goliad, Texas ~
Hi guys!
I have a few junkin items to share with you but one of them I'm really excited about.
It is the star of the show~
This is a No.2 Kodak Trimming Board
manufactured by Eastman Kodak Company
Rochester. N.Y.
U.S.A.
It is approximately 7" X 7". I believe it was to trim negatives with. The
gentleman I purchased it from had no idea what it was used for. He did tell
me he bought in Colorado and wasn't sure he wanted to sale it.
I then asked him for for a discount :)
He priced it at $30.00 and I paid $27.00.
A real find in my opinion. If anyone has any information I would be interested :)
I have a"thing" for STARS. I have them all over the place.
This one was $7.00. And like I said I have a a "thing" for STARS~
so I bought these too~
These are from the same shop that the trimmer was purchased in.
Goliad, Texas
$3.00 for 10 milk caps
I will share some milk caps with 3 people ~just tell me what you would use them
for. If you are not interested no problem :)

Try It Tuesday~Oxides and Darkroom Door
Hi guys!
I started watching the tutorials on the Distress Oxide inks by Ranger and
was hooked, without even owning any. So I took care of the owning part fast!!
The backgrounds are using the oxides and the sea shells are stamped
with the oxide but only splats of water applied to the shells (very controlled).
The oxide ink was applied to my Tim Holltz mat, sprayed with water and then I ran my white carstock through the color. The more water you spray on the oxide, the more oxidation will happen. It has a leathery look and feel. The brown on the top of the card was added on top of the green. Layering works with the oxides. The colors stay on top , they don't bleed together.
You can see the controlled water splats on the shells. The oxide only
reacts to the water lands.
Products used:
Ranger/Distress Oxide: peeled paint, faded jeans and walnut stain.
Darkroom Door: Texture: map, Seashells.
Stamper Anonymous: #hashtags.
Tim Holtz: Tiny Attacher
cardstock
Scrapbook Adhesives
S.e.i./black tumble dye
I hope you will give the Distress Oxides a try with your favorite
stamps ~ so addicting :).
Just warning you!!

A Beehive card and tag with Clear Scraps!
Hi, Connie here with a couple of projects showcasing the Beehive Layering stencil by Clear Scraps. The layering stencils are so much fun to create with and easy to blend colors on the design.
The first being a card and the second a tag. Both were created the same except the tag was stenciled on the fold of the cardstock and then fussy cut out.
Steps to create the card:
Stencil the image on white cardstock using a light ink and then a darker ink for shading around the Beehive image. Stamp the chicken wire pattern over the top of the Beehive. Add the Bee's, from the layering stencil, at this time. For the card, double mat on yellow cardstock and adhere to the front of the card. Add twine and buttons for embellishments. Add the sentiment in the center of the Beehive opening.
Steps for the tag:
Repeat the steps for the card but instead stencil the Beehive image on the fold of white cardstock. When all the steps are complete cut out the Beehive leaving the small loop at the top attached ( the fold). Punch a small hole and run twine through. Add the sentiment to the opening of the Beehive.
To see more Layering stencils by Clear Scraps go the stencil section in the online store.

cardstock: white, yellow and black
Darkroom Door background stamp (chicken wire)

May Club Q by Quick Quotes!
Hi, Connie here with the May Club Q kit by Quick Quotes!! I must say this kit was full of goodness. I loved everything about it, especially the green tone papers from the Harmony Collection. I have four projects to share using the Ultimate Combo Kit by Quick Quotes. I have put my own spin on these kits to show you that you never have to stick to the plan ~ creating your own design is so fun!
First up is this #memories note box.
My inspiration for this project was to create a box that I can write details to pictures and have a place to retrieve the information when I am ready to journal the pictures. I think I will remember and time after time important details are left out. So this is how I will use this box.
The back of the note pads also holds an envelope that can save small memorabilia.
The Post-It notes, small clips and small pens are provided by me.
Second & third project, a couple of #scrapbook pages.
This pretty girl made designing this page easy. Also, all of the pretty flowers that come in the kit were perfect for showcasing this page. Love the ivy embellishment.
These pages look great side by side. I kinda had that in mind when I created the pages.
Forth project #grocery list pad.
The inspiration for this list pad was I wanted a long pad (to make lists on) this worked great. You can include a magnet on the back for the fridge. I used a stamp set to stamp the word "smile". Everything to make this project (even the small black pen) is in the May Club Q by Quick Quotes.
Products used:
Quick Quotes: May Club Q
Quick Quotes PowderPuff Chalk inks: Jade, Clay, Desert Sun and Midnight Confessions.
