More Inky Iris with Darkroom Door~

Hi guys!
I have another card to share using the Inky Iris stamp by Darkroom Door.

Instructions:
Stamp two impressions of Inky Irises.  Fussy cut the large Iris, shade with Archival Ink/Butter Cup and Fern Green.  Set aside.  Shade the second impression with Archival/Butter Cup (the flower part). Use the Background/Chicken wire to stamp over the second impression.  It will give the effect that two flowers are behind the wire and one is in front of the wire. Square up and mat on yellow cardstock then white cardstock. Adhere to card front. Add punched corners. Stamp sentiment and fussy cut. Adhere fussy cut Iris, sentiment and black rhinestones (top of iris). For a little shimmer go over Iris with Wink of Stella/clear.

Clear Scraps~ A beautiful acrylic box!

Hi, Connie here with a gorgeous Clear Box by Clear Scraps.   This was created to house my  homemade soaps and keep them fresh and beautiful.

Octbox1

The box is easy to assemble.  Follow the instructions on the label and you should do fine. That is what I did.  I used a regular tape runner to secure the paper on the outside of the acrylic box.  The feet were put on with Beacon 3-IN-1.

Octbox4

Octbox2

The front embellishments are secured with Beacon 3-IN-1 also.  Worked fantastic for this project.  The paper is a, really, vintage set by Basic Grey.  Yes, I'm working from my stash and I love it to see the stack get smaller.

Fall is in the Air with October Club Q Kit by Quick Quotes

Hi, Connie here with three scrapbook pages created with the October Club Q Kit.  If you love Fall and all that comes with Fall, you will love this kit.  It is full of the great colors, that represent Fall to us.

The kit comes with a flip album. It is super cute to add it to the scrapbook page.  By doing that I was able to get six photos on this page.

Make sure you score the pages, of the flip album, about a 1/2" from the top, so they
will open up to view the photos.

Use strong adhesive to adhere the flip album to the scrapbook page.

I did two other pages that I will put, side by side, in an album, so I kept that in mind
when creating the pages.

The black pattern paper is matted with Whistlin' Dixie 107 which is not included in the kit.
The bottom page (scripted white pattern) is also matted with Whistlin' Dixie 108 which is not included in the kit.

Products Used:
Whistlin' Dixie 107 and 108  (extra sheets)
QQ PowderPuff Chalk Inks: Sunset, Coal Miner, Buttercup, Antique Linen, Midnight Confession and Warm Sand

Hi guys!
Thanks for stopping by for
Try It Tuesday!
I tried something, totally, new to me this last week.
I had a ton of fun and learned lots :)
Let me show you what I mean~

We had the opportunity to go to the Indiana State Fair this summer. I kinda got the bug,
with the help of my daughter-in-law, to find out about the County Fair in out area.
 So I did and I did :) enter !
I entered 24 craft projects and 1 antique item in the Guadalupe County Fair in Sequin,
Texas.  Just down the road from me.
Here a few of my favorites that did well~

Remember the bucket~ I used Clear Scraps, Darkroom Door and acrylic paints.

Vintage paper cutter :)

Clear Scraps "Journey Banner"

Clear Scraps Lrg. Clipboard. This was also a class I taught at
 Craft Crossing.

Muffin Pan ~Quick Quotes

Vintage shoe form ~ photo display

I ended up with
12 Blue, 11 red and 2 white.
Met some new people and became friends with some,
so I came out ahead :)
