Creative Scrapbooker Magazine/Fall Issue 2023 ~

Hi everyone!
I love submitting cards or projects for publication
and I'm always pleased when I get a "bite".

Creative Scrapbooker Magazine, out of Canada, is a great source
for crafty inspiration.  The magazine is full of scrapbooking
techniques and card making ideas.  One of those magazines that
is hard to put down.

The call was for "coffee related" ~ cards or scrapbook pages.

This card is using stamps by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.

It is a mixed media type card using distress oxide inks for the
background.  The focal is created with red rubber stamps
and dies.  So fun working with the dies!

Coffee Sentiments by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps~ NEW!!

Hi all!
Today I'm sharing the NEW Coffee Sentiments
stamps by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  They work
great with the Coffe stamps & Dies.

This a simple card using panpastels and the
NEW Coffee Sentiments.

Stamp the Coffe Cup image in randon places and add
color with the panpastels. Add Coffee Sentiment to a strip
of white cardstock and mat with black cardstock, then
adhere the strip across the card, horizontal.

Using the Coffee Stamps & Dies to create a focal
image for the center of the card.  The travel cup is
colored with panpastels and cut out flowers
from the pattern paper (same as background paper).
The Coffee Sentiment is stamped and matted on black
cardstock and adhered to the bottom of the travel cup.
All adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

NEW Coffee Set by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps~

Hi guys!
Today I will be sharing a BRAND NEW COFFEE Set by Blue
Knight Rubber Stamps.
Also to be showcased by the team
NEW stamps all week!!!  Check out the website to see all
of the new stamps.

The stamps are designed so you can add images inside the travel
cup and mug. Pretty cool!   You can make it what you want it to be.

Both of these cards are created the same way just
different inside cup images.  Stencils (Darkroom Door) are
used for creating a background along with
Distress Oxide inks.  The inside image for the travel cup is from
the Momma Bear & Friends set. The sentiment is embossed on
black cardstock and adhered with dimensional adhesive
 (Scrapbook Adhesive by 3L).

The one is using the bug car from the Let's Ride set for
the inside image on the mug. The word "COFFEE" is from
the Coffee Makes Me set.

A Bunny Cup with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L~

Hi guys!
Today is my turn on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Blog.
I have a really cute Bunny Cup using a masking
technique so the Bunny image is only on the front of the cup.

I used a mug die from Trinity Stamps to achieve this fun project!
The mug die is flat, so the Bunny (Blue Knight Rubber Stamps) has to be
masked off.  Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L has the perfect solution ~
E-Z Runner Grand Repositionable Dots Refill.
I have all the details on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Blog.
This is a fun one!!!

A side note: I found this coloring book on one of my vintage shopping adventures. It belonged to a little girl named Mary in 1915. I’m thinking she would like the Bunny Cup filled with candy, don’t you think?

I have some quick and easy steps to creating this card for your
                                                                     coffee lov'in friends!!!

Step 1:  Create a background for your card using Distress Oxide inks.
I used 3 brown tone colors.  I was going for a coffee color~
Stamp the image using Archival ink/Jet Black.

Step 2: Color in the image with Distress Oxide inks watered down.
They work just like watercolor paints. So easy!! Stamp a couple background
images over the focal (cup and books). I used a light gray ink and black when
 doing this.

Step 3: Use 3D adhesive to add dimension to the card front.  Double mat and
adhere with tape runner.

National Coffee Day with Joy Clair~

Hi guys!!
We are celebrating National Coffee Day with Joy Clair.
 Joy Clair has some great
Coffee stamp sets to create with.  You can start the blog hop HERE.
I am creating with two of my favorite sets, Teacher and
Coffee Quotes by Joy Clair.  Super easy but you will need an embossing
 folder to create the
background for the travel coffee mug.

I used an embossing folder by Tim Holtz that has travel coffee mugs on it.  The color was
added by using Distress Oxide inks and water.  The background was run through the
watered down ink mixture and then heat dried after each color.  I used coordinating
brown tone Distress Oxide ink colors.  The travel mug from the Teacher stamp set  was stamped out on cardstock, colored in and then trimmed out.  The same for the sentiment stamp from the Coffee Quotes stamp set.  Twine was added and then the cut out coffee images.
Black ink splats were added to complete the card.
