Fruit Cake Yum!
Don't these look yummy! I just had to show the fruits of my labors yesterday. With a cup of coffee and a slice of fruit cake - It doesn't get any better than that ( well at least for me). A good friend in Anna, Illinois shared his famous recipe with me. I had to beat it out of him. I'll give you a hint, it has a wee bit of apricot brandy in it-but just a bit. Hee, hee!! Hope you have a great week and go bake something and then eat it!! It will make you feel better. Promise.....

more crafties
These are calendar book marks. You can go to www.timeanddate.com to get your calendars for the book marks. All I did was mat the calendars and add some ribbon.
I used jiffy pop corn(stove type) and covered the tops with a little paper, stamped a holiday greeting, ribbon and snowmen!!! Quick gift!
The metal clips can be purchased at an office supply store. Just cover the bottom and dust off those punches and add a shape, add a little sparkle and you have a photo holder, recipe holder or place setting holder.
This is a beverage card that can be made very easily and attched to any beverage as a gift card. As you can see, I have been crafting this week. I love to craft and make something out of nothing. One of my favorite things to do. Most of these projects were made from left over paper kits and scraps. I hope you will get your scrap papers out and create. Have a great week!!!

Dear Santa
To start December off right-a "Dear Santa" layout!! This was so much fun to do. I used vintage photos of my boys and it took me back to that time when they were little and oh so cute! Pull some of those old Christmas photos out of the boxes and scrapbook them for the holidays. They would be very unique decorations. I used kraft paper as my base and then some Christmas paper and stickers. I included some Maya Road velvet ribbon along the side which really gives the layout the vintage feel. I hope you are inspired!!

Recipe Card Album/AC Modern 6x6
Finished up my recipe card album-to hold all of those handmade, beautiful recipe cards I have collected doing swaps on AC Bailey and with the cardsister gang!! I used the American Crafts Modern 2 ring binder style album. I altered it with some crafty papers and embellishments I got at AC Bailey. Lots of very cool stuff over in the E-Store. It will be easy, when using the cards , to slip the card out of the binder when in use. The albums can be found at http://www.acbaileydesigns.com/ . Hope you have a great "crafty" day!!
