I'm so excited!!! I'm taking another class from Big Picture Scrapbooking.
The one is Dimensional details by Nic Howard. I can't wait to get into this and start learning more "scrappy stuff". I hope you stop by and see how I do!! Have a great week-end and do something "fun!".

More wonderful Nature!

I am having a great time doing these nature pictures, that is taking the picture and scrapbooking the picture. The top one is another version of the "Belmont moth". Such a beauty!!!!

This one is done with a Cathy Zeilske sketch.( I guess some of her sketches did rub off on me). This one is a favorite of mine. These are wild flowers on the ranch. We go out every year when they start popping up and take pictures!! Thanks for stopping by today!!!

Old "vintage" label used

I really like how this turned out. I used a Cathy Zielske sketch but used an old "vintage " coffee label, that I got in Illinois at a goodwill shop. A great find!!! I scanned it on white cardstock and used in this layout. The red patterned paper is Jenny Bowlin, her new line. Hope you are inspired to add a little "vintage" to your scrapbooking pages - just try something different!!! Thanks for stopping in!

The same pictures scrapbooked differently - two different styles!

The first one is done in a Jenni Bowlin style-which I adore!!! You know - kinda of funky and vintage looking!!!

This one is done with a Cathy Zielske sketch from Design Your Life. I really do like them both but prefer the first one to the design of this one.

more DYL / Week 10

This is week 10 of Design Your Life. We are almost done, only two more weeks. We are studying "color". We are using the color wheel to determine what colors we are putting with our photos. I usually don't scrapbook that way but I'm learning more about what colors compliment each other. This has been a great learning experience for me. I came away with so many new design principles. There are some great classes over at Big Picture Scrapbooking- go check them out!!

3 different styles!!

If you know me you know I'm a big fan of Jenni Bowlin. I love her style, products and
vintage appeal. Here is my take on Jenni's style!!!!


This one done using Basic Grey's, Nook & Pantry. I loved the cup cake paper!! I cut them out and used them as embellishments!! Also so added Primas and buttons. What is so cool about this one - I included Adah's original handwriting-love it!!!

This one is done using Little Yellow Bicycle - Travel. I thought this paper would be perfect for this bird layout ( Wood Ducks). The pictures were taken at my parents home in San Juan, Texas. Thanks for popping in and have a great day!!!
