Covered Journal Books

These are so easy to do and what a great little gift they make. I used Modge Podge on these to adhere the paper but you could use Xyron 250 or the Cheetah. After the paper is down I used a sanding block to make the edges and corners smooth. It just takes a minute to hit it with some sand paper. The next thing I did was add some flowers and rub on's. I just used what I had on hand. These are done simple. I like simple - give simple a try. Thanks for stopping by!!

Wisteria or Blue Bonnets

I wanted to share with you two cards I did using the same stamp set. One card is Wisteria and the other Blue Bonnets. Turning the stamp up side down makes the Blue Bonnets and right side up the Wisteria. I used a peg stamp set called Wisteria Frame by Rubber Stamp Tapestry. It is so fun to use your stamps and crafty "stuff" in different ways than it was intended. I have been told it is called "thinking outside the box". Maybe so!! Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.

more 3 Bugs in a Rug/Butterfly Kisses

This is a very bright, colorful paper pack. Full of flowers, butterfly's and dragonfly's. Very little embellishments are needed because the paper has it all. I added some trim and cut out flowers and adhered them over the original flower on the paper for some dimension. That is a easy tick!!
On this layout-I used some ric rac and added some buttons! I just wanted to share how easy this paper pack was to work with. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day full of all kinds of fun stuff!!

Ribbon Bookmarker

I came across while blog hopping. I found it here : http://ellesstudio.blogspot.com/2009/04/tutorial-with-martha-bonneau.html
She has a great tutorial on these. They would make great little Mother Day's gifts for the kiddos to make. Very fun!!
The supplies are 10" of ribbon, 2 coord. buttons, journaling tags, alpha stickers, needle and thread. If you want to stamp on them - what a great look. I made these in about 30 minutes. Have fun and thanks for stopping by.

Encyclopedia of me "G"

Time for another "me" page. Our letter is "G". I chose giggle box and green as my words for my "me" pages.
When I was growing up I was always called giggle box because I laughed at almost everything. But what most don't know is I did that because I was nervous or unsure of myself. The other word is "green". I have loved that color all my life-I was born loving that color so it was meant to be. Right!
My album is really coming along and I'm enjoying adding my letters every couple of weeks. On this page I used Cosmo Cricket/Little Girls paper pack. Hope you have a great day. It is gorgeous here today.

3 Bugs in a Rug/Butterfly Kisses

This is a new paper pack from 3 Bugs in a Rug. I love the "springy" feel to it. The flowers were cut from one of the papers in the pack. I love it when you get free die cuts!! The butterfly is from Maya Road and just so you know AC Bailey has this pack in the e-store. Go check it out!!
This is a challenge I am hosting on AC Bailey. No die cutting machine allowed-just scissors, thread, buttons, ribbon and one vintage element.
GO check it out-It's not to late. Hope to see you. Links are in the side bar.
Have a great day!!!

More Cuteness/October Afternoon

I have really had fun scrapbooking these past few days. We had our granddaughter over Easter and got some really cute photos!! You have to be tricky with her. When shes done -shes done.
These two layouts were done with October Afternoon /Day Dream and Detours. This is one of my favorite paper packs. I love the vintage look of it so much. I always want to grab this paper pack! I'm on the look out for old trims, ribbons and embellishments to use on my layouts.. So much fun to have the real "McCoy". Hope you have a great day and thanks for stopping by!!!

A couple of cuties

I did these sometime ago but they remain a favorite of mine-so I thought I would post them. The girls are so happy and enjoying their day!! I love using primas and ric rac trim on layouts. There is nothing those two things won't fix. So pretty!! Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!!

Kaiser/Thrill Seeker

This is the stair step card done with the Thrill seeker by kaiser paper pack. It is perfect for boys and I love the many uses this paper set can be used for. The demensions for the card is 10.5 x 5.0. The score line are 1.25", 2.5", 4.25", 6" and 8.25". Fold hills and valleys with the smallest fold being the front of the card. Use large die cuts or embellishments in the back to make the card have more wow appeal. Very fun project!!
I loved how these two layouts came out. Very special to me. I used the thrill Seeker paper set and AC Thickers, white and red ric rac, bazzill card stock and brads/Kaiser-Thrill Seeker. Most of these items are at AC Bailey. The link is in the side bar. Go take a look through the store. Fun stuff!!!
Have a great day!!!
