Sleigh Memory - Dex by Clear Scraps~

H there!
I'm so excited to share the NEW Sleigh Memory-Dex
by Clear Scraps. They carry a selection of  Memory-Dex boxes
along with the dividers, that go in the boxes.  You can
design your own Memory-Dex with all the
fun Clear Scraps products.

I have listed the supplies you will need to create the Sleigh
 Memory-Dex.
Supply List
Clear Scraps: Memory-Dex/Sleigh
Index cards: Vintage Chip 2
Vintage Acrylic 2
Scallop Chip 2
Scallop Acrylic 2
Chipboard Words: MERRY and CHRISTMAS
Border Stencil: Checker Board
other: pattern paper, adhesive (wet) and dry, scenery
stamps, greeting stamps, acrylic paint, Tim Holts
Paper Dolls, shape dies, color mediums (markers,
Pan pastels and colored pencils).

Instructions:
1. Trace the shape of the sleigh on pattern paper and cut out.
Do both sides of the sleigh plus the front and back rectangles between the sides.
2. Stamp the scene on both sides using Archival ink/ Jet Black.
Using a stamping platform is helpful.
3. Adhere the sleigh cut out to the birch wood cut out. Do both sides.
Beacon Acid Free works great for this. Sand all edges with a sanding block.
4. Stencil the backside of both sleigh pieces using the Checker Board
stencil by Clear Scraps, using dark green acrylic paint.  Also paint
the end pieces with beige acrylic paint.
5. Add Beacon 521 to the edges of the sleigh and line up with
the notches to assemble the sleigh. If the sides are lined up with the
pre-cut notches it slips right in.
6. Add color to the stamped scene on both sides using Pan Pastels, colored pencils
or markers.  Then shade the edges with Brown ink/Pan Pastel.
7. Paint the chipboard words (MERRY & CHRISTMAS) with dark green acrylic
paint and let dry.  Adhere in place.
8. Finish stamping extras for the scenes and then speckle with white
and black acrylic paint. Place the wood pegs inside and secure the ends with glue.

Index cards:
1. Cover the chipboard index cards with pattern paper and send edges.
2. Die cut Scallop or postage stamp shape for the acrylic index cards.  You
will need two for each acrylic index card. One for each side and secure.
3.  Attach the Paper Dolls to the chipboard index cards giving the appearance
they are on a sleigh ride.
4. The acrylic index cards have dimensional adhesive used to secure the shape.
This also gives a buffer between each index card.
5. Add the Christmas sentiment to the front of the index card cluster
and add twine for color.

Other products used:
Stamps: Blue Knight Stamps: Chickadee in the woods, Buck, Doe & Fawn,
Horse and Sleigh and Pine and Distant Mountains. KazelKraft: Christmas

A Bunny Cup with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L~

Hi guys!
Today is my turn on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Blog.
I have a really cute Bunny Cup using a masking
technique so the Bunny image is only on the front of the cup.

I used a mug die from Trinity Stamps to achieve this fun project!
The mug die is flat, so the Bunny (Blue Knight Rubber Stamps) has to be
masked off.  Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L has the perfect solution ~
E-Z Runner Grand Repositionable Dots Refill.
I have all the details on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Blog.
This is a fun one!!!

A side note: I found this coloring book on one of my vintage shopping adventures. It belonged to a little girl named Mary in 1915. I’m thinking she would like the Bunny Cup filled with candy, don’t you think?

Spring Bunny by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps~

Hi Guys!
I have some cards to share using the Spring Bunny
By Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  It is really cute
and screams SPRING, just like the name!!!

I can just see these cards in an Easter basket!!!

Card #1

The image was stamped on pattered paper and colored
with PanPastels.  It is done very loosely so some
white highlights show on the image.  The card front was
double matted, with coordinating cardstock, to
complete the look.

Card #2

I used a matte coated cardstock for this background and it really
gave me a unique look.  I used Distress Oxide, watered down, and
ran the paper through the mix.  The ink really moved
around.  I heat dried it and then added another color.  I really love
the results!!
The bunny is colored with Distress Oxide inks. I
also used More Precious by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps for
the sentiment.  The card was matted to complete the look.

Sorrowful Pup by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps~

 Hi guys!
I fun a fun one for you today.  I'm working with
 Blue Knight Rubber Stamps the
Sorrowful Pup Stamp.
Such a cute  stamp guys!!!

Super cute, right!!!

Card #1

This card is really easy!  All I did was create a sky with
Panpastels.  The pup image was stamped and then colored
with PanPastels.  The sentiment was added and to
complete the card, it was matted on coordinating
cardstock.

Card #2

On this slimline card I used Distress Oxide and colored
pencils to add color to the stamped image.  I used a slimline die
to get my size correct for a slimline card.  The image was
stamped and then cut to size.  The sun stencil was added. The scallop
edge was a separate slimline die that worked perfect
with this project.  The adhesive that is used is by
Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Antique Train by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps~

 Hi guys!
I have been playing with Antique Train by
Blue Knight Rubber Stamps and wanted to share
what was created :)

This was a fun one to create with, but kinda out of the box
for me.  Glad I
continued!!!!

Card #1

The background is created using  Distress Oxide ink and stencils.
I used Versafine ink to stamp the train image on the inked
background. Stencils were then randomly placed and
applied. The sticker strip was added and the card front
was matted to complete the card.

Card #2

On this card the train was cut from the scene and added to the
Sun background.  Kinda a new twist. The train, tracks and grass
is colored with PanPastels. The extra tuff of grass is from the
Reeds & Ducks set.  A stencil was used to create the background
for the train stamp. Distress Oxide ink was used for this. The card front
was matted and complete.

Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps~

Hi guys!
Today I'm sharing a set of cards created using the
Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.
This stamp is a beautiful and perfect for mixed media.
Let me show you~

I used Distress Oxide and lots of stencils on the top card. I love the water
stains you get when using Distress Oxide ink.  Add the ink to the cardstock
and splat water on it. The ink reacts with the water making very cool
water marks. Great for mixed media!!

Card #1 ~

After the background is created stamp the Butterfly in the center of the
card front. I highlighted with Pixie Dust and a white gel pen.
At this point stencils were added to give the mixed media look (that I love)!
Double mat on cardstock, add sentiment and the card is complete.

Card#2 ~

On this card I used a foam applicator to apply the Distress Oxide
to the card front, creating a background for the small butterflies.
I sprayed lightly with water and then dabbed off.  I then added Brushos
(a product that you sprinkle over damp paper) over the stencil. That is
where the burst of orange and red come from. The small butterflies
were stamped, cut out and adhered to the card front.  Added a
sentiment, matted  and the card is complete.
Adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Hi guy!
Today I'm creating with the newly released Seaside Treasure Hunt Stamp
by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  If you love to hunt Seashells, if you
love the beach, you will love this stamp.  So Sweet!!!

The first card is stamped on pattern paper using Archival Black ink.
I used a stamping platform so the image could be re-stamped
several times to get a deep rich image.

Card #1 ~

Simply stamping on pattern paper. The water is colored in with
 Panpastels/Day & Night Pallet.

Card#2~

This card is embossed with Opaque Bright White embossing powder.
Wipe the cardstock down with a powder bag before stamping with
VersaMark.  Apply the embossing powder, pour off and heat with
embossing tool. All adhesive used is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Hi guys!
I have been creating with the newly released Chickadee On Fence Post by
Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  This is a beautiful stamped image.  Makes it
real easy to create stunning cards quickly!!

Both of the cards are created in a similar fashion except the
top card is Distress Oxide inks and the bottom is pattern paper.

Card#1~

A background was created using Distress Oxide inks, 3 shades of blue inks.
The scene was stamped with Archival Black ink and colored in with PanPastels/
Sunrise & Sunset Pallet.  The sentiment was added to the card front.

Card#2~

This card is created in the same manner is card#1 except it is
stamped on pattern paper.  I used Panpastels and colored pencils
for color. I attached the sentiment to the fence post with

Silhouette Rocks & Trees by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps

 Hi guys!
Today I'm creating with the Silhouette Rocks &
Trees
by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps. This is a great
stamp to build a scene with.

Both of these cards are created using Panpastels as the sky.

Card #1~
This stamped on mixed media paper, with Archival Black ink
and then colored with the Day & Night PanPastel Pallet. This was
re-stamped several times to get the black silhouette image really
nice and black.

Card#2~

After the stamp was positioned and stamped over the Sunset background,
using the Sunrise & Sunset PanPastel Pallet, the Sportsmen (hiker)
and the sentiment was added. The card was double matted using dimensional
adhesive for the 3D effect. (Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L)

Mountains & River by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps~

 Hi guys!!
Blue Knight has a new release and you will
love it.  It is called Mountains & River and it works
great with the Silhouette Sportsmen Stamp.

The first card is the the original version, no added stamps.

Card #1~
I used the Sunrise & Sunset PanPastel Palette for the evening sky. The
water is from the Day & Night Panpastel Palette.  You can find many colors
and sets on Blue Knight Rubber Stamps website.

Card#2~
This was stamped on mixed media paper with Archival Black ink.
I used Panpastels for color.  After the scene was colored I re-stamped
with the Archival Black Ink.  Using a stamping platform works great
for this.  I then added the extra stamps~ the birds, the tree branch and the
fisherman. Supplies with links listed below~
Blue Knight Rubber Stamps: Silhouette Sportsmen, Birds 11 and
Silhouette Cattails.

Silhouette Sportsmen by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps~

Hi guys!
Today I'm creating with Silhouette Sportsmen by
Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  This is a really fun set.
It comes with 6 sportsmen figures, that work
perfect with the scenery stamps by Blue Knight Rubber
Stamps. Let me show you~

I created small tags showcasing each sportsman figure. They are
perfect for the men in your life.

I used stencils to create an easy and fun background to
stamp the Silhouette Sportsmen on. I used Distress
Oxide ink along with the stencils.

On this card I used PanPastels to add the color and the Cloud Stencil
for the sky. The bird hunter (from the Silhouette Sportsmen) is stamped
on the dirt road. The ducks are from the Birds 1 set.
Check these out~

Silhouette Dolphins by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps~

Hi guys!
Today I'm creating with Silhouette Dolphins by
Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  Another winner!!
The silhouette stamps are super fun and look amazing!

I really loved this stamp.  Very easy to create a strikingly beautiful
card.  PanPastels make it easy!!

This is the original version of the two cards created. Only
Panpastels and Archival ink to create this card.  Stamp on
white cardstock and create a sunset with the Sunrise & Sunset
Palette.  Use the Day & Night Palette for the water.  I use a
positioning platform so re-stamping is an option.  When using silhouette
stamps to get a strong, rich impression you will want to re-stamp
several times.

This card is really no different than the top except I stamped on
pattern paper. Yes, a first for me, but I love the look. I added a small
Palm Tree from another stamp set called Palm Tree Beach.  I masked
off the small Palm Tree and with the positioning platform makes it easy.
The sentiment comes from the Palm Tree Beach set.  The small bird is
from Birds 11 set.
All adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Silhouette Swans by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps~

Hi guys!
Today I'm creating with a gorgeous stamp!!
You will love it.  It is called
Silhouette Swans and it is by Blue Knight
Rubber Stamps.

This is another beautiful stamp that is in the new release this month.
You can take a look at ALL the new stamps here.

The first card is showcasing the stamp set.  You get 5 stamps with
the Silhouette Swans. Wow!!! Four different sizes and one large
Cattail Bush.  I created a lake with PanPastels and then stamped
the Swans and Cattail Bush with Archival/Jet Black ink. I laid a circle
stencil over to create a halo effect for the Swans in the back.

The second card is created the same way as the top card but this
one has added stamps.  I used Silhouette Cattails and Mini Greetings 1
to enhance the scene. It is really fun to add little stamps or
pieces of stamps to create a scene.  I love practicing!!
