National Coffee Day!!!

 Hi guys!!
I'm hopping (all by myself) celebrating
National Coffee Day!! Lots of prizes and inspiration will be
found over at Coffee Loving Cardmakers!!  So get your coffee and settle in~

 I'm creating with
Blue Knight Rubber Stamps, Darkroom Door and
 Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

I have some quick and easy steps to creating this card for your
                                                                     coffee lov'in friends!!!

Step 1:  Create a background for your card using Distress Oxide inks.
I used 3 brown tone colors.  I was going for a coffee color~
Stamp the image using Archival ink/Jet Black.

Step 2: Color in the image with Distress Oxide inks watered down.
They work just like watercolor paints. So easy!! Stamp a couple background
images over the focal (cup and books). I used a light gray ink and black when
 doing this.

Step 3: Use 3D adhesive to add dimension to the card front.  Double mat and
adhere with tape runner.

Products used:
Blue Knight Rubber Stamps: Beau-tea-ful
Darkroom Door: Number Medley, Lots of Labels
Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L: Crafty Foam Tape 108'
E-Z Runner Grand White Permanent Dispenser
Other: Tim Holtz Distress Mixed Media Heavystock,
Distress Oxide ink, Archival ink, Stampers Anonymous

Film Strip Stamps by Darkroom Door~

Hi guys!!
I'm sharing some new stamps by Darkroom Door
called Filmstrip Stamps.

I'm creating with the first two~
This is a really creative take on the film strip stamp.
No limitations here.

The first card is a slimline card.  To create the background a Darkroom
Door stencil (Mesh) was used.  The Filmstrip is embossed and
trimmed out. The coloring is Distress Oxide inks.  You
know I love to add color with the inks!!

Published in Creative Scrapbooker ~ Spring 2021

The second card is over sized to accommodate for the length
of the Filmstrip stamp.  I wanted to use the entire image.
The background is created using Distress Oxide inks.
I have six colors on the the card.  Fine Leaves were stamped
and then colored with left over Distress Oxide that was used
for the card background. I used the Take Flight small stamp
for the sentiment.
I have more to share, so come back:):)

Hi guys!!
I thought this day was never gonna come :):)
But IT is here.
September 1st Darkroom Door stamp and
stencil release.  Take a look~

Love all of these and they will pair nicely with sets already in the
line.  Really love the Christmas Bush set !!!

The Stars and old TV really speak to me.  I have all kinds of
ideas in my head!!!!

Aren't these COOL?  I really think they are!!!

These are just so cute and make it so easy and fast to create a
4" x 4" card.  They fit perfectly.  These also pair well with many
stamps in the DD Store.
Love these!! The rainbow is God's Promise, to us, not to
flood our land.
Sun, Moon, Clouds/rain and Rainbow ~ well done!!
