Try It Tuesday ~ Kraft Stencil papers & junkin'!

This is the last of the layouts that I did, a couple months ago, over on Jenni Bowlin.  It was a weekend crop and it was so fun!! I love getting in the zone { scrapbooking zone}!!!:):)  I used Wren and the Kraft stencil papers.  You can cut them up, use them as a stencil, put paper under the stencil { that is really cool}~so many ideas!! Very clever product:):):)

Alert: Junkin' {local} in an old movie theater~so cool and so small from today's movie theaters~ I also got the good deal. Always lovin' that!

I had this Standard stamp holder and it was all stretched out~ kinda of ugly that way, but hubby fixed it and it was already to hold the  three wooden handle stamps { that I bought for $3} at the movie theater.

I got two of these, this is the best one~

So very cool and they work!!!!

Boys and trucks~

Hi everyone~I'm back home, had a birthday and I baked a small cake ( I never bake). Hubby was really happy!!!!  This is one of the layouts I did for the Jenni Bowlin crop a few months ago.  I love these papers, especially the one with the trucks on them.  I had one little piece and added it in.  Boys and trucks just go together.  This line is called Magpie!!

Also love using the labels for color and added interest.  The sage green isn't bad either ~ my favorite color, so it is a win win for me:):):)

Melon waters ~Pink Paislee!!!

Hi everyone~here is another Pink Paislee layout!!!  I love the brightness
of the papers and loved the watermelons on this!!
It was perfect for the story of these pictures.
We carried watermelons from Texas to Indiana for these two kids. They call them "melon waters" and they love them.

The sticker was on the melon so I made an award badge out of it~

Remember this~View Master reels!

Remember I paid $4 for all of these ~woot!!!!!!!   Well this is how I used two of the reels~

The paper is by Pink Paislee.  I love the different shades of green in this set. They look so pleasing to my eye:):).  Well if you didn't know green is my favorite color:):)  You probably new though~

To make the award badge I stapled all the die cuts together with Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher and then glued the View Master reel on top to give the appearance of an award!!! Love making those~
Helmar 450 quick Dry works great for that!!

Vintage Street Market~more girls!!!

Hi everyone ~ one of my favorite paper packs by Vintage Street Market is Family Fun!!
The kid images are super fun and look fantastic on all kinds of projects.

Here is another layout done with the same paper pack.  My granddaughter snagged my camera and was taking all kinds of pictures, mostly of her dolls.  The camera image is a rubber stamp by Darkroom Door.

I have lots of big buttons and I rarely use them but I still love them~I decorated this old gum ball machine, which belonged to my boys, when they were small, to hold my large buttons.  I used the Family Fun paper pack also.  The flowers are by Prima.  I used Helmar 450 Quick Dry to do the gluing.
You can find my post HERE ~would love for you to stop in!!!!

Try It Tuesday~Pinterest lift!!!!

I first saw these Dictionary Necklaces on Pinterest ~ I thought I can make those~well I didn't have a dictionary that I was willing to cut up but I did have an Encyclopedia, that will work!!!  These are done using Epiphany Crafts bubble caps 25 round and square with their setting charms. The brown one is a baby buggy {super cute}!!!!

I had two different ways to make them ~ first the glass tiles that you use Glossy Accents on to adhere the paper to the glass tiles and Epiphany Crafts.  I had both sets of supplies so I made them two different ways and loved how they both came out!!!

Glossy Accents and the glass tile version~

Not only did I use the words, I used the glossy pictures also.  I wrote artist on this one~

And there you have it.  Very fun to make!!!

Hi everyone, hope you had a great weekend.  I got to do some scrapbooking on Saturday (and one junk store) ~ so I got six layouts done!!! So happy about that. I always feel like I'm behind (and I am) ...
I used Pink Paislee/Hometown Summer on these two ~

I love all of the matching embellishments with this set.  The borders are fantastic.  I cut them up all different ways.  You'll see all of my layouts this week:):)

Here is one~loving the black and yellow together. Always a great combination. I used Helmar 450 Quick Dry when gluing down the embellishments.

Pins and buttons ~ colored with Tim Holtz's alcohol ink

Hi everyone~it all started with this idea.  I thought I would make some more colored pins, using the Tim Holtz alcohol inks and then it hit me.......why don't you color some buttons and then they will match when you use them on a layout or card.  So I did~

So I have my supplies out and ready, taking the lid off the ink with the mini needle nose pliers.

Three buttons done.  The ink dries fast. I found a Q-tip works better than painting the ink on with a paint brush.  It went on more even and faster.

Using the paint brush on the blue ~

The pins are turning out so cool and the buttons are matching~

Loving how the pins came out~I bought these pins from Hydrangea Hippo.

and this is how I will keep them together~I know you where all thinkin' that :):)
Well there you have what I did this evening {beside 2 loads of laundry and dishes}.  Hope you enjoy this and see how great the buttons took the ink~worked great!!!

Had a great email late last night, telling me some Darkroom Door stamps where headed my way!!! Woot!!!

Junkin' and Jenni~

Love this picture~talk about one excited little girl!!!!! Yep, she caught her first fish.  Before the end of the day she caught another one, so she is a pro!!!! Glad I was there to get this picture of her and her "grandy" and the fish!!!!  I used Jenni Bowlin Studios/Wren and the new Kraft papers that she has out!!!! Super cool and fun!!! I didn't take my standard close-up pic~ so let's move on to JUNKIN'

These are really hard to find and if you do they are more than I want to pay.  I got these View Master reels for $4.  Super excited!!!!  The lady told me, China was buying up all they could find, really?

I thought this was pretty cool~$2 worth of cool.  When I was on Helmar's DT Faber Castell partnered with Helmar and the team got products from them so....... they don't come like this anymore, cardboard and plastic is how they come now,  so I thought this was cool.  This is metal snap down box that holds the sketch pencils.

Try It Tuesday~ Wren goodness!!!

Glad I'm back to Try It Tuesday~you were missed!!!!  This is a set of three projects that were featured on Scrap News and Review {on line magazine} a few days ago.  If you missed the article you can go HERE to see it.:)  There was even a sneak peek on Jenni Bowlin Studios { the Inspiration blog} also.  It is HERE.  I used the new line Wren ~I know before I get these next words out of my mouth, some of you are going to say~you say that every time, I know but this is, really, really my favorite paper line. OK it's out , believe it or not:):)  You can't really see but I used some JBS new screens on the back{Ashli, are you so proud}~loving the die cut Kraft papers also. Two of the sweetest boys ever in that pic!!!

The card is made from the scraps from the layout.  I spritzed it  and added some trim.

On these magnets I used JBS tart tins, all three Tim Holtz Rosette dies and the Wren {bird dictionary paper}in the set.  The birds are beautiful to cut out and use them to embellish.

Thanks for stopping by today!!! I had a really exciting thing happen, when I get it I will take a picture and show you. Yep I won something!!!  For those that know me well, { you will be saying~OMG!!!}
See ya soon!!!!! I know what a tease, right!!!

Junkin'~blank milk caps!

Hi everyone~yes it's a junkin' post.  Aren't these pretty?  Milk caps that wrap around the top of the bottle. I'm sure some kind of machine does it so it is sanitary.  I thought they were pretty cool!!!

This is what was in the bag that I paid $1 for.  There were some pens and pencils too, but this is what I was interested in.  Not to many printed ones but lots of milk cap blanks.  I love blanks, let me show you why~

I have a stamp set by Maya Road that is a milk cap, dates and days.  I have had it long before I started collecting milk caps~love how things work out sometimes.  Any way I stamped these blanks up so you can see how cute they are, just as cute as the old ones.

I used black StazOn ink and rusty brown for the days.  I wish I had red, but no red here.

The milk caps dry fast and no time to stamp them. I'm going to give this set to one lucky blog follower just email me your addy {I love doing quick fun little give-a-aways, for my blog followers}, USA only. Don't post addy in the comments:):):)  Yep thats a hint I might give more than one set away~just let me know if you would use them in a project.
