Sunburst Tutorial with Darkroom Door~

Hi guys!
I wanted to share with you how I made the sunburst page using the
Sunshine Background Stamp by Darkroom Door.
This is just another idea on how to use the stamp.
Instructions~

* Stamp the background stamp on white cardstock (this will serve as a
 template for repeat uses)
a little off center.

* Use a ruler and draw a line, from each Sunburst section, to the
 end of the cardstock.

* I marked the sections (every other one) with a number and cut the
blank sections out.

*You now have a template (or stencil) that will serve as a guide for a Sunburst.

* Here is the one I made on top of black cardstock to give you an idea.
The mat in the center is 4"x 6".
I know this is old school, the cutting machine do these too.  I felt like
 I made this as fast as it would have taken me to figure out how to cut one.
  If your like me, this is for you  :)

* I laid the template over the paper I wanted to be the Sunburst and traced
 the lines and then cut it out.  Maybe 10 minutes :)

A pretty boy~ with Quick Quotes!

Hi guys! I'm here with a scrapbook page using the Gypsy Road Collection by Quick Quotes.  This page has a sad ending but a crazy beginning, so I had to scrapbook the story.

This beautiful boy, Cardinal, loves flying into my craft room windows all day long.
Drives me crazy!!!
I wish he would stop but it has allowed me to get some good shots of him sitting on the tree branch.
Early this morning the cat must of had enough also, because we found red feathers out by a big tree in the yard.  It has been quite, no more banging into the windows~kinda sad but kinda nice!!!
My tribute to a pretty boy!!!

Try it Tuesday~ the green bingo cards!

Hi guys!
Remember these?

I love decorating these like I would a scrapbook page.  I can display them in my home
and then they fit nicely in the photo album.  I have done several, but never a green one:)
{my favorite color}
So here is what I came up with~

I used mostly Maya Road and hot glue:)
I was really happy the way it came out!
I would love to have hubby make a frame for all the Bingo cards I have created~
I do have a birthday coming up~
This just goes to show, you don't need paper to make a scrapbook page~
Try It sometime.......

Try It Tuesday~ Card on a Stick!

Hi guys!!
 That time again for Try It Tuesday!
I came up with this idea a while back~a card on a stick!
You know, to add to a plant that you are gifting~
or any gift :)

Ingredients~
* Bamboo Skewers
* Vintage forks
* Small envelopes (Maya Road)
* Embellishments
A fun thing to do also,  is metal stamp the fork with a word.
The fork will hold the card.

Another idea is to add the card stick to an empty Starbucks bottle and tuck
 a gift card in the envelope. Coffee people would love that (ask me how I know)!

Darkroom Door~Memories card.

Hi guys!! I have a sweet card using the new Quote Stamp/ Memory by Darkroom Door to share with you.  I loved what this stamp had to say and it made it easy to create a card for someone experiencing a loss of a loved one or friend.  Couldn't be more perfect~

* The card is approximately 5 1/2" X 6".
* It is created on a white cardstock mat and then adhered to a card base.
* Stamp the Frame Stamp/Emulsion on white cardstock and shade with different inks.
* Stamp the Quote in the center of the Frame .
* Stamp the leaves (Carved Leaves Vol.1) on the mat.  Stamp one leave and gently raise the stamp (do not re-ink) and stamp again. That will give you shade effect on your leaf.
* Add stamped Butterflies from the Wings set by Darkroom Door.
* Spritz with black mist.
* Add embellishments and assemble card.

Clear Scraps and Stampendous! ~ perfect paired together.

Hi, guys!  I have a scrapbook page and card using Clear Scraps products along with some very cool stamps by Stampendous! to share with you today. First up the scrapbook page~

Stampendous1

Using the Clear Scraps 12" Chevron Stencil along with the Dress Form Stamps by Stampendous! the background was created on the Bo Bunny pattern paper.  The ink used is by Ranger.

Stampendous2

The Word Title (together) by Clear Scraps  was inked with black StazOn ink.  Very easy and effective way to add color to the acrylic embellishments.  Next up is the card~

Stampendous3

The background for the card is created the same way using the Chevron Stencil by Clear Scraps.  The Dress Form Stamps by Stampendous! was stamped on Kraft cardstock and cut out.  The sentiments are from the Happy Greetings Set by Stampendous!  A must have set. The sentiments are so perfect for all occasions.  The paper is by Bo Bunny.

Thank you Stampendous! for some beautiful stamps. Loved creating with them along side Clear Scraps products.
