Thin Sticks Abstract Stamp by Darkroom Door~Art Journal Page

Hi all!
Darkroom Door has a NEW release out and it
is FAB!!!  I'm creating with the Abstract
Stamp called Thin Sticks.  It is especially cool for
 art journal pages.

The background is Distress Oxide ink watered down to make a color mix.
Collage papers were added along with the stamped bird nests, created
by stamping in a circle, using the Thin Sticks stamp.

Birds are added to the nest using dimensional adhesive.  Ledger stamps are added
to the background for a vintage look.  The quote is from the postcard set and cut
into single words for the page.  They are outlined using a black Posca paint pen.
Stars are added and then the page is speckled with white acrylic paint.
Products inclued in this project by Darkroom Door are: Thin Sticks Abstract
Handwritten Ledger, Carved Leaves Vol.1, Faded Circles Abstract, Garden Birds,
Sketchy Stars and Postcards/Creative Quotes.
Other supplies used are acrylic white paint, Posca paint pen, Kraft Glassine
Paper/ Tim Holtz, and Ranger ink.
All adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesive by 3L.

Regal Buck Stencil & Stamp Through set by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps~

HI guys!
Today I'm sharing a NEW product by Blue Knight Rubber
 Stamps.
It is called Regal Buck Stencil & Stamp Through Set.
You get a heavy and then a light weight stencil and two masks.
The light weight stencil is for the stamp thru part.

Blue Knight Rubber Stamps will have a video up on their
You Tube Channel soon, showing how to create with the
stencil set.  Other shapes are being added to the stamp
thru line too!!!

The background is stamped using the Bark Background
stamp and then colored with panpastels.  The heavy stencil
is placed over the background and using Archival ink,
is colored in. The sentiment is added using the
One Line Sentiments/thank you. embossed with white
embossing powder.  Speckle with white acrylic paint
for a distressed look.

This is an example of the stamp thru stencil.
Use the heavy stencil and add panpastels to get the
deer shape.  Lay the light weight stencil over
the deer image and using a stamping
platform line up the (The Grove) scenery stamp or your
choice and stamp, using lots of pressure.  You may need to
repeat several times to good a good coverge.  I used the
Buck, Doe & Fawn to complete the scene.  The sentiment is
the One Line Sentiments/ thank you. Also embossed
with white embossing powder.

This card is easy, quick and looks great!

This card is stamped using Spring Blessings for the
background. The card is colored in with

Buck, Doe & Fawn Die by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps~

Hi guys!
Today I'm sharing cards made using the Buck,
Doe & Fawn Die
by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.
The dies make a beautiful silhouette image!

The top card is a 4x4 stamped out using the The Grove stamp for
the background for the Buck, Doe & Fawn Die.  I used dark green cardstock
when running my die through my machine.  The sky is created with the
Sunrise & Sunset Panpastel set.  The sentiments is from the
One Line Sentiments/lucky you. stamp set.

This card has a mixed media background that was stamped over
using Silhouette Rocks & Trees set.  The Climbing Kitten
stamp was used for the leaves (stamped, cut out and
then clustered in the corner of the card) for the small silhouette deer
to be placed. The Buck is added (die cut out of dark
brown cardstock) and cenetered on the card front.  Sentiment is
from One Line Sentiments/lucky you.

Hi guys!
Today I'm sharing cards made with Peaceful Retreat Die
by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  The
die makes it so easy to trim out an image and pop it up for
 dimension.

The stamp used for the background is the
Silhouette Cattails and for color, panpastels.  The
Peaceful Retreat Die is run through the die cutting machine
using white cardstock and then using a stamp platform
the image is stamped ( Peacful Retreat Stamps) on the die cut.

Blue Knight Rubber Stamps channel.  The sentiment
is from the Let's Ride set. The bird is from the Birds ll set.
The sentiment is embossed with white embossing powder
and added to the card front.

These are quick and easy.  Stamp the Peaceful Retreat out twice
using two different color inks.  Run the Peaceful Retreat Die through
the machine two times using coordinating cardstock. Using

Rear View Truck Die by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps~

Hi guys!
Today I am working with one of the NEW Dies
by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  It is called Rear View Truck Die,
also has stamps that go with it.  Makes it
so easy to trim the truck images out.

The scenery stamp used is Throught the Woods.  I thought it was
perfect to have the Rear View Truck driving doen this country
road.   The truck and scenery are colored with Panpastels.
The flag is from the Iwo Jima set and painted with acrylic
paints. Sentiments are from the God Bless America set and
the One Line Sentiments/lucky you.  All adhesive used is by
Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

To create the tags just run the Rear View Truck Die
through your machine with the cut line above the fold
of the light weight cardstock.  Color and add sentiments.
I used One Line Sentiments/friends rock. on these tags.
Punch hole and add twine for a quick and cute gift tag.
