To do list Art Journal Page~

Hi there!!
I have a fun art journal page to share using
mainly Sweet 'n Sassy/Creative Worship stamps.

The background is a mixture of Distress Oxide inks.  I use
them like I would water colors. The oxide reacts with water
so that gives another distressed look to the page.  

The background stamp called Messy Marks really got my
attention.  I couldn't wait to order it.  I colored some of the boxes,
that the stamp creates, with the oxide inks.  Love the look it
gave the page.  This has some collage elements also. The focal, 
the bird in the nest, and in the right hand top corner the postage stamp.

Products used:
Sweet n' Sassy/Creative Worship: to do list, Going postal, grunge 
elements, Birthday Word Art, Messy Marks BG stamp and Mixed Up
 stencil.
Paperartsy: Mattint Squeezed (used on the postage stamp).
Posca markers, Distress Oxide inks.

A set of four mixed media tags ~so fun!

 Hi there!
Today I'm sharing a set of four mixed media tags
that I created a few weekends back.  So fun when
I get to have a crafty weekend!!

These are created with Distress Oxide inks and lots of 
different stamps.  Red rubber, clear photopolymer, border stamps, 
background stamps ~ all kinds!!!

Each tag is created using Distress Oxide inks for a
mixed media background.  Stamps used on this tag are:
KatzelKraft: Ephemera and Bidules & Things.  Sweet 'n Sassy: 
Geometric BG, Nature Silhouette.  Word stickers:
Creative Expressions.

Small Art Journal pages~

Hi there!
I came across this small 4x6 art journal and thought It
could be treated like a tag except I could keep the pages, in the
journal, all together!    

I used Distress Oxide inks and stamps by Katzelkraft called
Spiral Borders and Ephemera.  Both of these sets work so well
used together. 

The word stickers are by Creative Expressions called Hello 
Spring.  They come on a sheet and you cut off what you need.
I bought these products at Topflight stamps.  All adhesive is by
Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Sarah's Tag ~ mixed media style!

Hi there!!
Today I'm sharing a mixed media style tag that I created
for a wedding shower.  This was so perfect for her!!
 She is a talented singer in our church so
the stamps by Creative Worship/Sweet 'n Sassy called 
Sing Loud worked well for this project..

I used Distress Oxide inks for the background and coloring
the singing birds.  These are the colors she is using for her 
wedding.

The colors are fossilized amber, rusty hinge, festive berries and 
rustic wilderness. 

The stamps used are called Sing Loud (retired), Geometric BG, 
Psalm 23 BG, Birthday Word Art, Faith Wordfetti, Mini Grunge
Type Alpha and Mixed Up stencil.  You can find most of these
stamps on the Creative Worship by Sweet 'n Sassy site.

Adhesive used is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Card of the Month with Creative Scrapbooker Magazine

Topflight Stamps 7th Birthday Blog Hop~

It's Topflight Stamps 7th birthday and time to celebrate. I’ve teamed up 
with some great designers to showcase celebratory projects using
 the unique products available at Topflight Stamps.  Please hop

I created an Art Journal page and two mixed media style tags.  I will list the
products after each project is explained.  I'm using Katzelkraft, 
Studio Light, Paper Artsy and Darkroom Door.  

The background is created with a mix of Distress Oxide inks.  I then
added some very cool eclectic stamps from Kazelkraft using Archival/
Jet Black ink.  The focal images (crazy birds) and the text is stamped out,
colored and then trimmed.  The elements are added to the front
of the page with wet glue and dimensional adhesives.  To complete
the mixed media (messy look) I speckled with black acrylic paint.
Products: Katzelkraft: Les Accessoires,  Les Piafs (crazy birds),
 Literary Quotes, Contraptions and Things, Ephemera.  Darkroom Door:
Stitched Borders and Ransom Alphabet.  Paper Artsy: HP 2401 and
HP 2402.

I'm using tags by Studio Light as the base for my mixed media creations.

The instructions for the tags are the same as the Art Journal page.
Same steps make it easy!!! 
Products used: Studio Light Funky Tags, Katzelkraft: Les Piafs, Spiral
Borders, Elephant Watson, Les Accessoires and Whatchamacallit.
Paper Artsy: HP 2401, HP 2402.

This tag is created in the same manner but I was thinking
about Rachel Greig when I created it.   The last few years she
has been a part of the Topflight Stamps Birthday Blog Hop and
I didn't want her to miss this year.  So this is for Rachel!!!
Such a great friend and talented artist. 
Products used: Darkroom Door: Handwritten Ledger, Fine
Flowers vol.2, Fine Leaves, Number Medley, Take Flight, Milestone 
 and Great Friend (small stamps).

Change is a Beautiful Thing Card with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L~

Hi!!
Today I'm sharing a Card using a mix of colors and some
awesome adhesives by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L over on
their BLOG!! 

As always I have a tutorial over on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L
Blog with step out photos.  Hope you will take a look and check out
the Adhesive Dots (they come in several sizes) and work so good
on small embellishments like buttons and flat back pearls.

Sea Life with Blue Knight Stamps~

Hi there!
I have a card to share using the Night Papers with the Sea Life
red rubber stamp and the dies by Blue Knight Stamps.  Instead
of using the pattern paper as a night sky, I'm using it
as a deep ocean water scene.

I used the backside of the pattern paper for this look.  I added some
distressing by running the pattern wheel over the pattern paper with
acrylic white paint.  The  dies are added with dimensional adhesive and
I love the pop it gives the card front.

The sentiment is added using One Line Sentiments/blessings.
I added white acrylic paint to the edges to anchor the ocean
floor.  Looks like bubbles too!
All adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesive by 3L

Beached Canoe with Blue Knight Stamps~

Hi there!
I'm sharing a scenery card using the Beached Canoe
by Blue Knight Stamps.  I usually color with
panpastes and Distress Oxide ink but on this card I'm 
using colored pencils, colors and panpastels.  The pencils
and colors are by CARAND'ACHE.  They are a Swiss made
product.  Blue Knight sells these at StamperCon and other
stamping shows that they participate in. 


I'm also using one of last One Line Sentiments sets I did for Blue Knight  
Stamps called Did you know~.   Really sweet set and goes with just about 
any theme.  
I used the panpastels to do most of the coloring and then highlighted
with the pencils and colors.  My goal is to make my project
pleasing to my eye:):) 
All adhesives used are by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Creative Scrapbooker Magazine Spring Issue 2024 ~

Hi there!!
I wanted to share the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine 
Spring Issue 2024 with you . I was excited to get two
pieces published.  A Mother's Day card and tag.

This magazine is full of scrapbook pages and tags.  Lots of
inspiration!!!

The last work I did for Darkroom Door.  As always using my favorite
adhesives by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

I did a set of these mixed media tags for Darkroom Door using

A Mixed Media card with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L~

Hi!!
Today is my turn over on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L
Blog.  I'm sharing a fun mixed media card using 3D Foam
 Adhesives.   Can't go wrong with some added dimension!!

This was a fun one.  I love this the elephant stamps by Kazelkraft!
Takes me back~ my mom always asked me when she couldn't
find something ~ she said I had a memory like an elephant :)::)

Backyard Blooms Cards with Buttons Galore & More~

Hi there!!
Sharing my last project using the Backyard Blooms 
Novelty buttons by Buttons Galore & More. I did a 
couple of mixed media cards and added buttons
and Jelly Beans as embellishments. Really love the
look and added dimension it gives the card front.

These were super fun to create and the background mix worked perfect
for the button mix that I wanted to add.  

The center of the flowers have the Jelly Bean half pearlz. They are easy
to set also. I used Dual Tip Glue Pen by HomeHobby by 3L.
All other adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

I hope you come away with a love for buttons.  They look 
good on everything.

Windmill and Corn with Blue Knight Stamps~

Hi there!!
Today I'm creating with the NEW stamp
called Windmill and Corn by Blue Knight Stamps. 
If you are a Texan you will love it!!!

I stamped the corn with Archival Olive Green.  The sunset is put in with
panpastels and the Windmill and Forest Animals: Fox and Raccoon are
stamped with Versafine/Black Onyx.  The sentiment is
from the One Line Sentiments/congrats. set.

Kleenex Covers with Buttons Galore & More ~

Hi there!
I have another fun project using the Spring Value pack
and the Patriotic Value pack by Buttons Galore & More.
I did two different Kleenex Covers using the novelty buttons
for decorations.

I used a pattern, that I made, to get the dimensions for the
Kleenex Covers.  This was my starting point and I adjusted
as I needed to.  I used fabric glue but you sure could sew them
with a machine or hand sew. 

I know this is rough :):). The sides are going to be long but just trim
when you make the center fold.  I hand sewed the buttons on
 with coordinating embroidery thread.   

They make really cute gifts!!!

Deer by the River with Blue Knight Stamps~

Hi there!!
I got to play with the NEW stamp called
Silhouette Deer by the River  by
Blue Knight Stamps.  The picture of
this stamp could have been taken on our
property, maybe that is why I love it!!!

If you love nature this is a great stamp to add to your collection.
