Avocado Arts~ Bee Thankful!!!

Hi!!
I have a cool idea using  an old, vintage container~like a coffee can:)
***very fun****
I had the opportunity to work with the "Bee Thankful" set by
 Avocado Arts. This is what I created~take a look~

This will have a place on my coffee table, right after Thanksgiving.
Love everything about it :)
The white tags are from The Curtsey Boutique.

I also made these notepads, using this same set.
Love the font on the "Bee Thankful"

And another one using the  " Snowman".

These notepads are cut in thirds at the Office Depot type store.  They usually do it free if you buy the stack of legal size pads.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!!!

Fallen Leaves and more by Darkroom Door~

Hi guys!
I have a couple of cards I did  for Darkroom Door using some of the new releases.
I had so much fun putting these together.

The background stamps is new and called Fallen Leaves. I inked it up using
several different inks and then stamped on white cardstock.  Love the effect!
I use Archival Ink by Ranger.  Love the Wendy Vecchi colors!

Also used here is another new set called Carved Leaves Vol.1.  These are great to stamp and cluster.  Love the look!! The bird is the new Eclectic Stamp called Robin.  A favorite of mine!

On this one, everything is the same but I used a Butterfly from the Wings set.
To see my original post go to Darkroom Door.
I have all the supplies listed :).

Epiphany Crafts ~ Fun!!!

Hi guys!!
Hope you had a great weekend~
I have been creating something fierce.   It is so good to get in the Zone:)
You crafty peeps know what I'm talking about. Can't wait to show you :)
Today I have a couple of projects I did for Epiphany Crafts~

I stamped the image on the fold of the paper, to make the card/tag.  The image is by Darkroom Door and the lens is covered with the EC round 25 bubble cap.  Perfect fit!!!!

These were really fun to make.  I ran the bottle caps through the Big Shot to flatten them out.  The EC round 25 bubble cap fits perfect over label.  I added magnets to the back, to make a cute gift set (except they are on my fridge).
The Scrabble Tiles are covered with the EC square 25 bubble cap.  Cute, fun projects!
See ya tomorrow for~

Gone Junkin' Friday~

Hi guys!
I have some junkin' finds from Indiana and Illinois to share with you.
I have plans for these beauties~

Thought this hand dish was so cute~my plan was to take off the writing
(thinking it was a decal) well it won't budge!
$3

I haven't given up just need to find something that will take it off~

Some times I pay way to much for something~this was one of those times.  I can just see this with rose hips and a long red candle and some greenery and that is why I paid
$7.

These are hard to find, so when I see one I will buy it
$4.

I love this! I have never seen one with no advertisement on it.  The color is kinda of grey.  I have the perfect thing to scrapbook on this~be looking for it soon!!!
$3.

inside of the card.
The paper is adhered, to the acrylic, using Zip Dry by Beacon.

The card kit comes with a see through envelope~love that!
Many different card kits to choose from, all beauties!!!

Try It Tuesday~Peanut cup with The Curtsey Boutique!

Hi guys!!
I have a fun tutorial I did for The Curtsey Boutique some time ago.
It is for the guys in the family:).
*****************
Supplies~
Fabric Stiffener (Helmar)
Vintage label
Jar of Peanuts
twine
burlap bags
wooden scoop
empty water bottle

Project Instructions:
1.   Remove the tie cord from the burlap bag.
2.   Put an empty plastic water bottle into the burlap bag.

3.       Apply the fabric stiffener to the burlap bag.   I used a large paint brush.
4.   After the bag is really saturated with the fabric stiffener, sit it down until it is standing on it’s own.
5.       Let it dry.  It took mine about 4 hours to be completely dry.

6.       Cut off the top of the plastic bottle with a box cutter.
7.       Decorate the front and add the twine.
8.       When you are ready to serve or give as a gift insert the wooden scoop with peanuts!!
9.       Super cute!!! Dad will love it!!!! His own Peanut Cup!

The burlap bags can be found on The Curtsey Boutique's Etsy Shop.

He still love's the game ~ with Bella Blvd.

A layout I did for my youngest son~I love that he still loves the game.  The top left photo is of him playing the game at 11 years old.  Always enjoying the game.  I used Bella Blvd pattern papers to tell the story.
The second pictures are of him and his wife ( she took the picture) at a Red Socks game, still loving the game:):)

A journal tip that I learned from Shimelle.
Have a great weekend~
see ya soon!!
