another project for Craft Crossing

This is the second project we will during Nov 6 at 2:00 at Craft Crossing.  Very fun layout!!! I loved using the ticket stubs on the layout!!!! The bright red was just what it needed!!
This is our bonus project!  This could be a treat that would look great in a festive bowl or laying beside a place setting.  Just a fun treat to make using a candy bar or a nutrition bar, homemade brownies ~  the list goes on and on!!!  I used the Jenni Bowlin bingo card as my base and worked from that.  If your local hope to see you on the 6th!!Give Pam a call and reserve your spot!!!

....capturing fall......at Craft Crossing

Good morning!!!! I am lov'in the cool , fall air this morning!!!!  The chickens are lov'in it too!!!  This is one of the projects we will be doing at my Craft Crossing class.  The banner is Jenni Bowlin and the rosette is the cool new "Tim Holtz" die!!!The rosettes were tricky at first, but if  you lay them on a flat surface and have the other end ready with adhisisve  ~ they go together quickly!!  This is a layout of the grands playing in the leaves last Thanksgiving ~ I named the layout capturing fall. I'll have some more of our class projects tomorrow!! Have a great day and if you are local ~ give Pam a call and reserve your space!!!

This sketch has so many possibilities ~ I'm thinking I'm going to do it again.  I changed the placement of the title, but stayed pretty close to the sketch.  Here is my take on a "great " sketch!!!

Fall Treats!!!!

Hi everyone!!! I have been working on some Thanksgiving treats to decorate with.  I used a CD envelope on this one. I covered the candy with paper and added them inside the envelope.  I haven't decided if I'm going to put them in a festive bowl or place them on the table.
I made these a couple of years ago and placed  homemade Chocolate Chip Cookies inside the CD envelope.  You could really use any kind of treat that your family likes ~ even a trail mix or gold fish crackers would look great, because of the orange color.
Hope you like these!!! Let me know how yours turned out!!! Have a great day!!!!

Cards today!!!

Didn't have much time to craft today but did make four of these cards using some Jenni Bowlin pattern papers.  I machine sewed the paper on the front and the journal rounds are my favorite at the moment. I have tons of them!!!!  I think they would make a perfect little mini album!!!
The flowers are some I had in my stash ~ so they are a no name at the moment but I love the vintage look to them  I've been using my stamps also ~ love that!!!!
Thanks for stopping by and have a crafty weekend!!!

Try it Tuesday~homemade flowers!!

Love the sound of homemade flowers!!!  I made these using a Sizzix die called Flower Layers.  I added a really old vintage button for the center of the flower.  You could also sew around each flower~so many possibilities.

These were made with the Tim Holtz die called Tattered Florals.  I was wanting the simple homemade look~so I did not ink them up, but you sure could and they would look fabulous!!  I added kaiser pearls for the centers.   I hope you try this~link me up if you do, would love to see your homemade flowers!!  Have a great Tuesday!!

heART of Scrapbooking ~ vintage boy tags

Hi everyone~ These are some gift tags I made using the boy "vintage" tags that you can find at heART of Scrapbooking!!!  These are so clever~no need for an envelope just tie to the gift!! I love that idea.
I used a scallop punch to make the topper that will be used to tie on the tag.  Any shape you have will work or a chipboard shape~just have fun with it!!! Thanks for stopping in and have a great day!!!

Try it Tuesday/Pretty and Simple

This is a sweet layout using Crate Paper's Restoration line.  I love the vintage feel of this paper line.  The trim is "vintage" at it's best!!!  The flowers  are by Prima.
Always good to get a {{hug}}} from brother!!!!

Oh~ another sweet one!!! Just sitting enjoying the sun (not)!!!  This paper is by Kaiser/Peachy Keen line!!! Not a big fan of orange but I love this line.  I used the embellishments that came with the paper and added some Jenni Bowlin butterfly's and a title.  Pretty and simple~ Try it Tuesday!!!!

Some Prima/Peaches!!

This paper is about two years old but I thought it was perfect for this picture!!! One of our "grands" holding her prized jewel that you get when your six~and she's six!!! The paper is die cut with the frame in the middle~to showcase that very special photograph.  I used some trim by Maya Road that is pleated.  Love the look!
This is a close up of the flowers made with the Tim Holtz Sizzix die.  This die was so easy to  use.  The hardest thing is turning the flower to lay flat but once you master that you are home free!!   For you local people Craft Crossing has the die in stock with some other Tim Holtz stuff!!

This is a close up of the title. I used American Crafts / thickers and the same trim with a brad by Prima,  that is in the same paper family!!  Thanks for stopping by today and have a great week-end!!!

A ribbon banner and 2 more babies!!

I thought I would post this one real quick.  Here is a picture of both of the babies that some of you have asked me about.  They are fallow deer and my hubby raises them for our enjoyment!!  We love to watch them!!  These two still have their spots but when they get bigger they will be all white like the adult deer.  and....
the cool banner is made from ribbon, trim and some vintage buttons!!  The paper is Basic Grey. Since we are celebrating ~though a cool banner was in order!! Thanks for stopping in!!!

Try it Tuesday!

Try it Tuesday is here!!!  On this layout I used a stamp set from Stampin' UP! and a mask from Tim Holtz to create the back ground for this layout.  I stamped the flower image on to water color paper and then used a water pen to blend the ink. Very cool  to do and easy!!  Then I used the masks to create some interest on the Kraft paper with the glimmer mists.  You can use watered down inks for the same look.  Just spray them on lightly and then determine if you want more color and repeat if you do.  You can even add different colors!!!  This is one of our new babies on the ranch. I was able to get a good picture of him resting with his mom. I hope you will give this a try!!! Have a wonderful Tuesday and thank you for stopping by!!
