Try It Tuesday~ this is a must try!!!!

Hi everyone~this is a super cool technique that Shimelle showed us {gals taking her Free class at 2Peas} yep~could be you too!  Anyway,  seven pictures on a single layout.  I loved that idea!  So here is my take on this sketch that you can find here~

The accordian piece will hold six pictures and then the mat beside it, the other one.  I'm not going to try to explain this because Shimelle does a video that is awesome.  The link is in this post to check it out!

Trying to show you how this folds in and then pulls out to view all of the pictures.  One of the spaces I used for my journaling.  I have done this sketch three times and I tweek it, each time, to my needs.  I love the fact that it holds seven pictures on one single 12 x 12 paper!

My supplies I used are 3 Bugs in a Rug, Prima, Helmar 450 Quick Dry, Epiphany Crafts heart button Studio and Oval epoxy, twine and Bazzill cardstock.  Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will check out Shimelle's class 4x6 Love at 2 Peas ~ Tell her I sent you over!!!  See ya soon!!

All you need is Helmar 450 Quick Dry ~

Hi everyone ~I have been super busy using my Helmar 450 Quick Dry { best glue} in my humble opinion!!!
To make this that is all you need, really!!!  Some old thread spools and small plates, a little piece of material, buttons, ribbons ~ all the things a good crafter has around the house!!  I have more pictures posted here.  I'm up on Helmar's blog today so you can see more there. I would love your support!!!

Yes I'm CRAZY about this glue!!!! I'm also up on ScrapStreet today and if your hopping would love the support. Have a great day and see ya soon for Try It Tuesday!!!

I inked the edges of the embellishments and adhered with Helmar Zapdots!! Love those~

Ready, Set, Create celebrating 8 years!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone  it has been a super busy weekend with stuff other than crafting and creating.  I'm ready to hit the studio hard today so I'll have some super cool stuff to show you for Try It Tuesday~so be sure to stop by tomorrow.

What I will be showing you today is some gift sets I made for Ready, Set, Create magazine ( back issue).  This stamp is by Fresh Brewed Designs (Etsy shop).  I made gift tags with it and created this Coffee Mug set.  I love quick and easy little gift items that go together fast~makes life easier!!!

This is the same stamp and I made a pocket card { the one that you use half of a sheet of 12 X 12 paper and then fold into thirds}~easy, and you can stuff cute goodies in it and makes a quick, surprise gift!!

This is a cards set, stamp is by Crafters Companion. It is the fairy set, I used kraft  paper card sets and tied the cards with tulle and then added the tag!!  This was also in a back issue of Ready, Set, Create.
Ready, Set, Create is 8 yrs old this month and is running a super sale ~ 6 issues {that's a year} for $8.
It is a great magazine~has digital, traditional and hybrid cards, scrapbooking and altered art!!!
See ya soon for Try It Tuesday!!

Try It Tuesday~Doodle Board

Hi everyone, I'm back from vacation and had a fabulous time. I learned I can survive without internet for a week. I was able to get on a few times by visiting the local Starbucks and that was rough {not}!!! Before I left for vacation, I made one of my grands a doodle board for his birthday and that is what I will be sharing with you. So here we go~

I took an old frame, that I had on hand, and opened it up. I took out the inside cardboard and used Helmar V2 Vellum Adheive to adhere the pattern paper to the inside cardboard. Worked like a charm!! Adhered well with no bubbles. The paper I used was from Vintage Street Market. It was lined paper and had some "fun" on it too!!

After the inside was completed, I then decorated the frame with embellishments from the same paper line using Helmar 450 Quick Dry, to hold the embellishments in place. This glue is perfect for this type of project, drys quickly letting you continue to work.

I sealed everything with Helmar's Acrylic sealer. It is a great learning tool for practicing writing or doodling, which kids love to do. All they need is a dry eraser marker and an eraser.

I used Helmar 450 Quick Dry to glue the kraft envelope {by Maya Road} to the back of the frame which will hold the marker and eraser~my attempt to keep all parts together!!! My grand really enjoyed this  and I know I will need to make four more.  Perfect for those road trips!! Thanks for stopping by and I will see ya soon.

The Paper Bakery August kit is here!!

The Paper Bakery's August kit is here!!!!  I received the add on kit and these are the two layouts I did using that kit ~

The Lily Bee pattern paper was perfect for the photos I was wanting to scrapbook and the cute yellow puppy material that comes in the kit is just adorable ~ I'm telling you perfect for these pic's!!! I used glubers by Cosmo Cricket to make the flowers using the puppy material. You can go here for a tutorial on making the flowers!

I wanted to showcase all the photos and the Lily Bee paper was just what the pictures needed. I added a few  extra elements { buttons, Primas, journal card}to complete the layout!

Hope you go check out the kit and tell her I sent you.  You can also find The Paper Bakery on Face Book and would love for you to "like" her fan page. Thanks for stopping by~tomorrow is Try it Tuesday so I will see ya soon!!
