Flower Button Magnets with Buttons Galore & More

 Hi there!!
I'm sharing a fun summer craft that the kids will like.
I'm using the Haberdashery/Sunrise buttons and
the Bees Value pack by Buttons Galore and More.

I'm using a flower die and glued the flower base to a large
button found in the Haberdashery / Sunrise  button pack.

For a cleaner look punch a circle from scrap cardstock and glue to
the back of flower die cut then adhere to the large button.  Add a
stitched button to the center of the flower and the adhere the
Bee button last.

Add a strong magnet to the completed button flower.  I did
a mixed media mix for the paper. Pattern paper will work
great also.
other: stamps: Darkroom Door / Layered Handwriting BG. Die:
A Jillian Vance Design: Pop Up Petals die.

Mixed Media Ensemble Project for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L~

Hi there!
Today I'm sharing the last project I created for
Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.  It is three projects
creating an ensemble to be presented at the trade
shows they attend.

I used LOTS of adhesive by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L
The 3D Foam Squares White Mix, 3D Foam Circle White, 3D Foan Strips,
Crafty Foam Tape 108', Metallic Foil/Nature and Adhesive Sheets
4x6, just to name a few.  I created a notebook cover, a mixed media
tag and a card.  The backgrounds were all created at the same time and
then the elephants were stamped, colored and trimmed out.

The tag is a mix of Distress Oxide inks. I used the Elephant
series by KatzelKraft as the focal for all three projects.
The tag is by Studio Light.  The elephant image is stamped,
trimmed out and then adhered to the the tag. Ephemera type
stamps are added to the background. Material tie for the top
and a snarky sentiment works well:):):).

The cover is created in the same manner as the tag and card.

The writing pad is 5"x8" so the heavy cardstock is
about 11"x9". Folded and scored in the center of the cardstock.

The card finishs out the ensemble.  This was such a fun
project to complete!!
other products used: stamps: KatzelKraft: Elephant Watson (tag),
Elephant Napoleon (notebook cover), Elephant Van Goah (card),
Les Accessories, Ephemera, Bidules and Things,
Spiral Borders and Les Nombres. Darkroom Door, Sweet 'n Sassy,
Carabelle Studio.

Clustering Buttons on a Mixed Media Tag ~

Hi there!!
I have been creating with buttons by
Buttons Galore & More and they look fab
clustered on a mixed media tag.  I'm using the
Spring Value Pack because the colors were a perfect
match with the inks used for the tag.

The background is a mix of Distress Oxide inks. The inks didn't
get written down but I used a pink, dark pink and a light green.
Any colors, that look good together, will make a fun looking
tag.

Clustering three different sizes next to the focal image brings the eye
to the main attraction. I used thread to add more color to the
buttons.  I really love the look!!

Button Garland added to a Mixed Media Garden Tag~

 Hi there!
Today I want to share a mixed media tag that I added
a little string of button garland to the bottom of the tag.
Love the movement that one thing, added to the tag.
I'm using the Spring Value Pack by Buttons Galore & More.

The background is a mix of distress oxide inks that are put
down in layers.  I dry with a heat tool after each color.
By doing this the color won't turn to a muddy mess.

To create the button garland, string the buttons (through the button holes)
on the bakers twine.  You will be able to move them where you want
them and then tie off the ends. Don't miss the little bird button in the
flower!! So cute!!

A sunflower (shank) button was added to a pear pin and attached to
the top of the tag.

Other products used: stamps: Paper Artsy, ESN67, Darkroom Door,
Number Medley. adhesive: Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, tag: Studio
Light. ink: Ranger.

Creating with Blue Knight Stamps ~

Hey there!
Today I'm sharing a couple of projects
I did using Blue Knight Stamps.  Looking to
create a fun and trendy tag and art journal page.
This is what I came up with ~

The tag is embossed using the Kind Words Bouquet Stamp
by Blue Knight.  Clear embossing powder and distressed
oxide inks complete the look.

Added interest to the background inclues the background
stamps called Birth of Jesus and a number stencil by Darkroom Door.

The butterfly is from the Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly set.

The button dangle is created using the Spring Value Pack by
Buttons Galore & More.  Coupon code in side bar.

The second project is a small art journal page (4X6) in size.

The background is created with distress oxide inks and a stencil
by Sweet 'n Sassy called Mixed Up. The words are from the
One Line Sentiments/blessings.  The word strips are out
lined with a black marker and then colored with distress oxide
ink for a fun and trendy look. Love It!!!

The ivy branch is hand painted, just mixing it up. All
adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.
Appreciate you stopping by.
Links to the Companies (products
I used) are in the side bar.

Thanks again!
