Bark Background Stamp by Blue Knight Stamps~

Hi there!!
Today I'm sharing my second project as
Guest Designer for Blue Knight Stamps. It
is called Bark BG and it is super fun!!!
Let me show you~

See what I'm talking about, it looks like real bark on a tree (actually is).
I used over nine products on each project.  I'll link below.

The tag is cut from the Tag Die.  I cut several at a time so I have them
on hand.  The Bark BG stamp is stamped on the tag and the colored
with Panpastels. The Stag is added from the Buck, Doe & Fawn set. 
The scenery at the bottom was added to lengthen the tag.  It is from
Birds ll and Eagles and Foliage set. The leaf branches are stamped and
die cut from the Background Branches set and then colored.  The sentiments are
 from Happy Any Day/One Line Sentiment and the Reverse Sentiments.
Add twine to the top.

The background for this card is the Mixed Media 1 Designer Paper.
The bird houses are hand cut from stamped Bark BG cardstock. The tree
limb, used as the bird house stand, is from the Chickadee in the Woods
stamp & die. I also added in the Birds ll and Silhouette Grasses.  The
sentiments are from Blessings/One Line Sentiments.  The leaf branches,
 on top of the bird houses, are from the Background Branches stamp & die.
All the adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Snowman by Blue Knight Stamps~

Hi there!!
Today I will start off August Guest Designing for
Blue Knight Stamps.  I will be sharing stamps from
the latest release.  First up is Snowman.  The Snowman
stamp also has a Die (sold separate).

The cards are created a bit differently by showing the large 
Snowman as the focal and the smaller Snowman to create a background
like pattern paper. Both super fun!!!!

To create this card I stamped the large Snowman on white
cardstock and colored with Panpastels then matted on
black cardstock and set it aside.  The card base was created using
 the Music Sheet BG stamp along with Distress Oxide inks. The
large Snowman panel was then adhered to the background.
I used dimensional adhesive for this. The sentiments are
from Wonderful/One Line sentiments and Reverse Sentiments. 
The stars are from the Mixed Media Numbers set.

On this one stamp the Snowman in random spots or make
a pattern using a light colored ink.  Then stamp the 
Background Branches leaving a space for the coffee cup.
Stamp and die cut the coffee cup and add some color to it.
I used Distress Oxide inks.  Stamp the coffee cup with the
small Snowman and color. Add the sentiments and berries
to the branches.  Also used is Wonderful/One Line Sentiments
under the Merry Christmas sentiment.
All adhesives are by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Camping Stamps & Die with Blue Knight Stamps~

Hi there!
Today I'm sharing the Camping Set (clear) & Die by
Blue Knight Stamps. Super cute set and so easy to plug
 the camper into a scenery setting.  I'm using the Church with Steeple
background, just masked off the church.  The camper fit in
the space perfect.  I used a black marker to bring the fence
line closer to the camper. 

The sky is put in with panpastels and I used Sun/Moon circle stencil also.
I erased the moon out.  Very easy when using panpastels!

The Camping Die Cut is adhered with dimensional adhesive. The
birds are from the Birds ll set and the relaxing dog from
the Silhouette Dogs set.  So easy to pop into a scene.
The sentiment is from the Camping set and
One Line Sentiments/happy any day.

Honey Bee & Sunflower Stamp/Die Card and Tag ~ Blue Knight Stamps

Hi there!
I'm back with my second project for 
Blue Knight Stamps.  Today I'm sharing one
card (and a tag) using the NEW Honey Bee & Sunflower
 stamp and die. 

I also added in the Tag die. Very cool to layer the tag on a card front.
Also created a fun Gift Tag!!

To begin creating this card I cut all the elements needed, the tag, and the
four layers of the Honey Bee and Sunflower.  I then stamped each layer, colored
with Distress Oxide inks and assembled with dimensional adhesive.   

I stamped the tag with the Dictionary Page BG stamp, added
a sticker reinforcer and then added the Honey Bee and Sunflower cluster.
The background paper is from the Mixed Media 2 Designer Paper.
The Honey Bee & Sunflower were stamped in random spots on
the background paper.  The tag was added to the card front. The
sentiment was added from the Reverse Sentiments set. On the petals,
of the Sunflowers, they are stamped with numbers from the
 Mixed Media Numbers set. Looks cool!  Speckle with
white acrylic paint.

To create the tag start by cutting the die out, using the die. 
Add color to the tag with coordinating Distress Oxide inks.
Add in Dictionary Page BG, Mixed Media Numbers and
Honey Bee & Sunflower stamp.  Cut the Honey Bee & Sunflower,
color with Distress Oxides and layer the elements as you like.
Put the cluster together with dimensional adhesive and add the the 
tag front.  Cut the oval elements, using the tag die, cut in half,
add color and add as a bottom border to the tag. Add a fabric tie to the 
top of the tag. The sentiment is from the Did You Know... set. 
Speckle with white acrylic paint.
All adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Mixed Media Feather Cards ~

Hi there!!!
Today I'm sharing mixed media type cards using the
NEW stamps called Feathers by Blue Knight Stamps.
There are four stamps in this set and made with beautiful
red rubber, making sure to get all the details of the stamp!

These are about a 3 1/2" x 6" in size.  One sheet of 12
x12" cardstock will make three card bases.  

The card on the top left is created using Distress Oxide inks to create
a mixed media background.  The stamps sets are all by Blue Knight
Stamps. They are Feathers, BG Dictionary Page, BG Sheet Music,
Chickadee, Mixed Media Numbers and Reverse Sentiments. 
The card on the right is using BG Sheet Music, Mixed Media Numbers,
Silhouette Birds on Branches and Reverse Sentiments along with the 
Feathers set by Blue Knight Stamps.

The last card is created the same way using Distress Oxide inks for the 
background. The feathers are embossed, on the background, and then the
large feather stamped, colored and cut out.  It has dimensional adhesive
on the back.  The sentiments are from the One Line Sentiments/Blessings.
The bird is from the Bird on Fence (retired set) sorry!! Blue Knight has 
other birds that will work for this and will look great with the feathers set.

The Mixed Media Numbers set works great for a "created by"
stamp.

Did You Know Tag with Blue Knight Stamps~

Hi there!!
Today I'm sharing a mixed media tag using the
newly released Mixed Media products by 
Blue Knight Rubber Stamps. 

I love creating tags and I think they look really cool/cute on a gift
bag!!! The background is a mix of Distress Oxide inks watered down.
Kinda of like watercolors. They work the same.  I heat dry after every color
so they mix and don't make mud water.  Next the feathers, and BG branches are added.
Sentiments are added along with a fabric tie at the top.  Speckle with white
acrylic paint for a mixed media look. 
All adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

 Music Notes, Branches and Leaves, Background Branches,

Mixed Media Designer Papers by Blue Knight Stamps ~ NEW!!!!

Today I'm sharing the NEW Mixed Media Designer paper
by Blue Knight Stamps.  If you love an eclectic look you
will love the papers.  Makes card making easy!!  The

Pine Tree Trio by Blue Knight Stamps~

Hi there!!!
Today I'm sharing cards created using the
NEW stamp called Pine Tree Trio by
Blue Knight Stamps.  Such a cool stamp to add
into a scene or use it as a single image.

The top card is created using a mix of Distress Oxide inks
and background stamps. I used Matthew 1 and Dictionary
Page.  Also added in are Pines & Deer, One Line Sentiment/
thank you. and Birds ll.
The bottom card is created in the same manner. The background stamp
used is Tell Me the Story of Jesus.  Also added in are Birds ll,
Silhouette Moose, One Line Sentiments/lucky you. and thank you.
I used Versafine/blk. onyx, for the pine trees, on a stamping
platform for both cards. 
Adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Flowers in Grass by Blue Knight Stamps~

Hi there!!!
I have another month with Blue Knight Stamps
sharing the NEW release of red rubber stamps.
Today I'm sharing Flowers in Grass.  Such a pretty
image!!!
 

I went in two different directions ~ the first being an underwater scene
and the second a flower garden.  

Adding the turtle from the Sea Life Stamp & Die set gave it
the underwater feel that I was going for.  The background is a 
mix of Distress Oxide inks along with the Sun/Moon Stencil
for the water bubbles. The sentiment is One Line
Sentiment/Did you know...

On this one I stamped over the background using Versafine/
Black Onyx and then colored in the flowers with
Distress Oxide inks.  The sentiment is stamped in the
right top corner.  The last thing is to speckle the card
with acrylic white paint.
All adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

More Silhouette Dogs by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps~

Hi there!!!
Today I'm sharing another Silhouette Dogs card by
Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  This is another one of
the NEWLY  released sets.  They have a Silhouette Cats too!! 

This card is stamped with black ink using the Garden Gate stamp set.
The scene is colored with PanPastels.  The relaxing dogs are 
from the NEW Silhouette Dogs set.  The sentiment is from the
One Line Sentiments/friends rock. set. 

Also used are the Birds II  set and the Sun/Moon stencil. All
adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Sea Grass with Blue Knight Rubber Stamps~

Hi there!
Today I'm sharing cards created with the NEW
Sea Grass stamp by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  This is
another fun one that can be added to scenery cards.

The background is created using a mix of Distress Oxide inks,
watered down. A background stamp called Dictionary Page is
 stamped over the ink mix with Archival Black ink. The
Sea Grass images are then stamped using a stamping platform
and Versafine/Onyx Black. The sentiment is added from the 
One Line Sentiments/thank you. set. 

This card is created using PanPastels for the color.  The Sea Grass
is added to the scene.  The scenery stamp used is called
Shoreline. Half of the stamp is masked off, to create room
for the Sea Grass and Silhouette Dogs stamp.  The birds are
 from Flocks of Birds. The sentiment is from the 
One Line Sentiments/lucky you. set.  The sun is masked off with 
the Sun/Moon Stencil.  All adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives
by 3L.

Silhouette Dogs by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps~

Hi there!!
Today I'm sharing Silhouette Dogs by 
Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  They have
Silhouette Cats too:):)  These are fun to pop in a
scene when making cards are tags.

The card background is created with Distress Oxide ink and PanPastels.  The
Silhouette Dogs are adding in using Versafine/Onyx Black ink.  The tree is stamped 
in from the Day at the Lake set. The picket fence is from The View from my
Yard Die  and stamp set.  The sentiment is from One Line Sentiments/friends rock.

The sun is added using the Sun/Moon Stencil and the cluster of
small birds are from the Birds II set.

This card is created using PanPastels for the sky and trees.  The leaves
are stamped with VersaFine Clair/Shady Lane.  The stamp is called
Striped Hammock. 

The Silhouette Dogs were added to the scene.  The sentiment is
from the One Line Sentiments/Did you know...
The Sun/Moon Stencil is used to put in the Sun.  All
adhesives are by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.
I will be showcasing several NEW stamp sets being released
this month.  So all week with Blue Knight Stamps.

Sympathy card ~

Hi there!
Today I'm sharing a great looking card 
and took about 10 minutes to put together.
I like that !!

I'm creating with Design Papers by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps. These
are called Day Sky 2 by Deanna Tubb-Sedillo. So fab!!! She has 9 sets of
different papers and they are all beautifully created. She did the hard
part for us.

I used Silhouette Pines along with Flocks of Birds, Birds ll and One Line
Sentiments/Sincere Condolences.  The moon is added using the
Sun/Moon Stencil and Panpastels. I love to finish the card with a 
little speckled paint.  I use an old toothbrush and water down the paint,
to thin it out, and then spritz. 

I stamped the Silhouette Pines on the envelope using Archival ink/
Jet Black.  All adhesives are by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Surfer Guy & Gal by Blue Knight Stamps~

Hi there!
Today I'm sharing the newly released stamp
called Surfer Guy & Gal by Blue Knight Stamps.
It goes great with the beach and water scenes by
Blue Knight.

Both of these cards are using panpastels for color.  The silhouettes can be
added into a scene.  Just drop them in. Using a positional stamping device
comes in handy when stamping with silhouettes.  You are able to re-stamp
as many times as need be, to get a good dark imprint.

I'm using Ocean Waves for the background stamp. Also added
is Flock of Birds, Birds ll and the Sun/Moon Circle

stencil.  The sentiment is from One Line Sentiments/congrats.
To finish the card I speckled the card front with white acrylic
paint.

The second card I'm using Path to the Beach along with
Beach Fences Stamp & Die.  The added bird is from
the Birds ll set.  The sun is put in with the
Sun/Moon Circle stencil.  It is fun to build a scene.

All adhesives are by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Birds on Wires by Blue Knight Stamps~

Hi There!
I will be guest designing, this month, for 
Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  So excited to be
sharing 8 cards, created using the new release from January 
Every week (on Wednesday) I will share a new stamp and
two newly created cards.
First up is Birds on Wires.  So cute!!!

You get five Birds on Wires and four small birds.  Perfect to add in trees or
on the wires.

The grass and sky is added in with panpastels.  The trees are from
the Chickadee in the Woods stamp and die. The branches are
from the Silhouette Forest set.  The blue moon is added using
the Sun/Moon Circle stencil and colored with panpastels. The

sentiment is from the One Line Sentiments/Did you know...

The second card is created using Distress Oxides inks for the
card background.  The side trees are from the Forest Friends Die.
The blue moon is added using the Sun/Moon Circle stencil and
Distress Oxide ink. The sentiment is from the One Line Sentiments/
happy any day.

Majestic Pines by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps~

Hi there!
Today I'm sharing cards created using the
Majestic Pines by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.
A beautiful scenery stamp that is great to 
pop a silhouette stamp in. 

The stamp comes with a set of small horses and a deer family.  They
look really neat stamped in the scene.


Both of these card examples are colored and shaded with
panpastels.  The top one is stamped over the color and the
bottom card is shaded over the stamped image.  I love
the muted effect it has on the stamped image.  Other stamps
used by Blue Knight are Flocks of Birds, One Line Sentiments/ 
lucky you. and friends rock. Birds ll, Silhouette Moose,
 and Sun/Moon Circle stencil.

The background for this card is created with watered down
Distress Oxide inks.  It gives it a mixed media feel. Very
simple card to re-create. All adhesives are by 
Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Praise Him by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps ~

Hi there!
Today I'm sharing cards created using 
Praise Him by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  This
stamp really speaks to me.  Great to pop in
a scene.

There are three sizes of the girl and guy praising and celebrating.   I can see 

this set used in scrapbooking too. Concert photos come to mind!

I'm using Sunflower Sunshine with the Praise Him set. It is
stamped on white cardstock and random areas are colored with

Distress Oxide inks.  I used Versafine/Black Onyx for the
Praise girl.  The blue moon is added using the Sun/Moon
Circle stencil.  The sentiment is embossed on black 
cardstock.  To finish the car it is speckled with white 
acrylic paint.

I paired the Silhouette Rocks and Trees Stamp with the 
Praise Him set.  The background in put in with
panpastels and then stamped over using Distressed Archival/
Hickory Smoke.  I love the muted effect it gives the scene
Makes the Praise couple really pop. The sentiment is from
the One Line Sentiments/Did you know...  
All adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.
