Darkroom Door June Challenge ~ New York Vol.1

Hi there!!
Today I'm sharing a couple of mixed media tags using the
New York Vol.1 by Darkroom Door.  They are starting monthly
challenges using a specific rubber stamp set.  I just happened to
have the selected set (New York Vol.1) for June.  I had such a 
fun time creating with Darkroom Door, it had been awhile.

The background is created using a mix of Distress Oxide inks for a 
messy look.  The images are stamped, over the background, using Versafine
Onyx Blk.  I use a heat tool to dry the ink faster. Other stamps used are:
Stitched Borders, Number Medley and Global Postmarks all by 
Darkroom Door. 

The background is speckled with white acrylic paint.  I use an old
toothbrush to achieve this look, just add a little water to the paint to
thin it out.

Leaning Guitarist by Blue Knight Stamps~

Hi there!
Today I'm sharing the newly released stamp
called Leaning Guitarist   This is a really cool silhouette
stamp by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps. It reminds me
of my grandson :):)

 I used panpastels and Distress Oxide inks on these two cards. I really
love that you get two smaller guitar guys, (going both ways)
 in this set. 

This card is colored in with watered down Distress Oxide inks 
The silhouette is stamped over the Old Glory stamp. The
sentiment is from the One Line Sentiments/thank you.  To

finish the card I speckled white acrylic paint over the card front.

This card is using the Through the Woods stamp along with
Daring Adventure stamp (Jeep) to create a scene for the 
Leaning Guitarist. Also used is Birds ll and the sentiment
is from One Line Sentiments/lucky you.  The Sun/Moon Circle 
stencil is used for the Sun.

Eagles & Foliage plus Die with Blue Knight Stamps~

Hi there!
Today I'm sharing three cards using the fabulous 
Eagles & Foliage stamp & Die by Blue Knight Stamps.

This was a fun stamp to create with and the Eagle Die is a 
must have. 

I used the Dictionary Page Background Stamp to add
interest and thought the foliage would look great stamped
over the text.  The Eagles are stamped and then I used
the coordinating Die to cut them out. The color is
Distress Oxide inks.

This card is using Distressed Oxide inks for the background and
then the foliage is stamped with the coordinating oxide inks.
The Eagle is stamped and then the Die is used to cut it out. The Eagle
wings are highlighted with Panpastels.
The sentiment is from One Line Sentiments/blessings.

I used the Old Glory stamp (flag) and colored with 
Distress Oxide inks.  The large Eagle is stamped and cut out
with the Die.  The words are from the God Bless America
stamp set.  All adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Patriotic Tractor Tag with Buttons Galore & More ~

 Hi there!
Today I'm sharing a Patriotic Tractor Tag and sprucing
it up with buttons from the Patriotic Value Pack by 
Buttons Galore and More. (affiliate link).
The tag is stamped using Distress Oxide inks and a fun Tractor
Stamp. Other stamps are added to create a background for
the Tractor. 

Buttons from the Patriotic Value Pack are stitched and
adhered creating a border for the tag.

A star novelty button and white sewing button are added to the
top of the tag with a pear pin.   Love adding buttons to my creations!!

States Stencil & Stamp Thru Set by Blue Knight Stamps~

Hi there!!!
Today I'm sharing one of the NEWLY released Stamp
Thru Stencils called  States by Blue Knight Stamps.
I put a patriotic spin to it and love how it came together.

The white cardstock is stamped using the Dictionary Page BG stamp.
I then stenciled, starting at the bottom left corner, across the card.
I used Distress Oxide inks.  Put the card front on a stamping
platform for the next step.

Use the Statue of Liberty and Skyline stamp for the center image.
Stamp several time to get good converge. Stamp the
sentiments out of white cardstock using the God Bless America
stamps. Trim out and outline the rectangle if you like the look.
For an added mixed media vibe I speckled white acrylic paint
in random spots.

Flag Art with Blue Knight Stamps~

Hi there!
Today I'm sharing an Art Journal page using the
  USA Flag called Old Glory by Blue Knight Stamps.
 It fits perfect on a 4X6 art journal page.    

The image is stamped and then colored with Distress Oxide
inks (watered down). The eagles, Dictionary page BG stamp
and the Thank You Hero sentiment are added using
 Archival / Jet Black ink.

The sentiment words are from the One Line Sentiments/
Thank You set.  I added number stamps along with
white acrylic paint to finish off the art journal page.  

Products used: Blue Knight Stamps: Thank You Hero, Old Glory,
Dictionary Page BG, Silhouette Tree and Eagles and One Line
Sentiments/Thank You.
Also used: Darkroom Door: Number Medley. Adhesive:
 Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

USA Flag Art Journal Page with Creative Worship by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps

Hi there!!
Today I'm sharing an Art Journal page using
background stamps to create a USA Flag by
Creative Worship by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. 
Love creating flags from background stamps.  You can
use tags also !! Great look!!!

Any stamp that has horizontal lines or a grid type stamp will
work.  Stencils too!  I'm also adding in elements form the Grunge
Element 3 set.  The blue part of the flag, with the stars, is
created by using a piece of a text book page.  It is colored with 

Distress Oxide ink and then stenciled with the Cross Stitch stencil.  

Super fun to create these type of pages.  Keep adding in stencils and stamps,
 a little at a time.  Add in the words or sentiments, speckle with white
acrylic paint and call it good :):)

Other stamps used are: God is Bigger, Psalm 23 BG, Grunge Strip BG and
stencils: Diamond Tile and Cross Stitch.

1776 Art Journal Page with Creative Worship by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps~

Hi there!!
Today I'm sharing an Art journal Page using  
God Bless America and Women of Praise
by Creative Worship by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.

This was a fun page to create. My inspiration was a gathering
 (or rally), celebrating our country. I started with the 
USA Flag.  I penciled the flag in and then colored with Distress Oxide
inks. The outline of the flag is stamped with the Grunge 
Elements 3 stamp set.

The stars are stamped with Distress Oxide ink, cut out and 
placed with Multi Medium Matte.  I will have a list of products
used at the end of the post.  

The bottom section is stenciled and randomly stamped.  The 

silhouette people are from the Women of Praise stamp set.  Love that
set so much!!!  Many things to celebrate :):)

Praise, Texture Tile 1,  Sew Many Stitches, God Bless America and

Grunge Elements 3. Stencil: Delightfully Delicate and Diamond Tile.

Rear View Truck Die by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps~

Hi guys!
Today I am working with one of the NEW Dies
by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  It is called Rear View Truck Die,
also has stamps that go with it.  Makes it
so easy to trim the truck images out. 

The scenery stamp used is Throught the Woods.  I thought it was
 perfect to have the Rear View Truck driving doen this country
road.   The truck and scenery are colored with Panpastels.
The flag is from the Iwo Jima set and painted with acrylic 
paints. Sentiments are from the God Bless America set and
the One Line Sentiments/lucky you.  All adhesive used is by
Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

To create the tags just run the Rear View Truck Die
through your machine with the cut line above the fold
of the light weight cardstock.  Color and add sentiments.
I used One Line Sentiments/friends rock. on these tags.
Punch hole and add twine for a quick and cute gift tag.

Salute the Flag Card with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L~

 Hi guys!
Today is my turn on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Blog.
I am showcasing a patriotic card using the 
Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets/Holographic Colors and the
E-Z Runner Stars Refillable Dispenser.

The stamped image is by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps and is
embossed with black embossing powder.   The image is
colored in with Distress Oxide inks and then speckled with
water for a distressed look.

Bald Eagle by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps~

Hi guys!
Today I'm creating with the Bald Eagle stamp by 
Blue Knight Rubber Stamps. I created two cards~

Both of these cards are created the same just using different size
stamps of the image.

I used Distress Oxide inks to create a mixed media type
background for the card.  The Bald Eagle is colored
in with Distress Oxide inks. The  sentiment is embossed
and comes from the Legendary set.

A mixed media background is created with Distress Oxide inks.
The eagle is stamped with black ink. The sentiment is stamped and
double matted with cardstock. The sentiment is from the 
Bible Verses 1 set. Both cards are adhered using adhesive
by Scrapbook Adhesive by 3L.
