Nativity Scene Tag with Buttons Galore & More~

Hi there!!!
Today I'm sharing a mixed media tag using the
super cute Nativity Scene Novelty buttons by
Buttons Galore & More (affiliate link) along with stamps.

I started with a blank tag and added Distressed Oxide inks (watered down) to
create a background for the stamps.  I used background stamps and a
focal stamp that helps tell the story of the Nativity Scene buttons used on
the tag.

Added to the bottom corner, a piece of homespun fabric and some black
stitch work.  The Nativity Scene buttons are stitched to the tag.
The words are added and a tag tie, for the top of the tag, along with
buttons dangling (large blue button from Low Tide Set).

Shirt Pocket Pouches with Buttons Galore & More~

Hi there!
Today I'm sharing a fun re-purpose project
using lots of buttons by Buttons Galore & More (affiliate link).
You will need an old shirt to get started.

Instructions:
1. Remove pocket by cutting around with scissors.
2. Use fabric to sew or glue to cover the top seam of the pocket.
3. Add either matching material or a garment label to the
 middle of the pocket flap.
4. Use the Crop-A-Dile (or something similar) to punch
a hole through (top left corner) for an "O Ring".
5. Decorate the flaps of the pockets with buttons. You can
sew or glue them on. I love to sew them on so the threads can match
and add color to the buttons.

Sun & Surf Kit by Buttons Galore and More ~ Pencil Toppers!

Hi there!!
Today I'm sharing a FUN kid craft.
Perfect for Summer craft days. I'm using the
Sun and Surf Monthly Kit by Buttons Galore and More.

These were easy to make and FUN!!! The Fish flat backs are a little
wonky so that makes them perfect. Kids will love them!!

I used a 2" scalloped circle die and a 1 1/2" by Spellbinder to
get the shape.  I'm using some scraps of felt that I had in my stash.
The greeting tags are stamped on binding tape and then glued
in between the scalloped layers.

The little fish are called Aquarium / Flatbackz. They are in the kit.
Glue one in the center of the pencil topper, along with some
flat back pearls.  Leave an opening for the pencil when adhering together.
Add the flat back pearls for water bubbles.  Complete with twine or ribbon.

Sun & Surf Kit by Buttons Galore and More ~ Mixed Media Mermaid Tag!

 Hi there!!
Today I'm sharing a Mixed Media Mermaid Tag using
the Sun and Surf Monthly Kit by Buttons Galore and More.
The kit comes with some really cool Mermaid buttons. along with
other buttons and babbles.  You get a freebie too!!!!

A tag background was created using Distress Oxide inks (watered down)
and acrylic paint.  Stamps and flat back pearls (they come in the kit)
were added also.  The fishnet is attached with a stapler. I cut the shank off
the Mermaid buttons and used them like an  embellishment.
The Mermaid buttons are attached with hot glue or a strong
wet glue.

Ink can be added to the buttons for shading too.  Easy and looks
great!
The flat back pearls are added in random spots on
the tag.  They kind of remind me of air bubbles in the water :):)
