Try It Tuesday~ got pickles?

Hi guys!
Hubby planted a big garden and we have cucumbers
everywhere!  We gathered supplies and decided to make
Bread n' Butter pickles, the easy way.

 You guessed it~cut em up!!
Soak in salt water for about 1 1/2 hours.  I forgot to do this and it was

all good.

All you need~plus hot jars.

The yield 4 qtrs. of Bread n' Butter pickles (refrigerator style).  I used this recipe
times 4.

Recipe:
Bread n' Butter Pickles / Mama-Nell
3 C. Sugar
2 C. Vinegar
1 tsp. Salt

1 tsp. Turmeric
1 tsp. Pickling Spice
Cook on stove top until sugar is dissolved and brine is hot.

Pour brine in hot jars filled with sliced cucumbers.
Store in Refrigerator a few weeks and then eat'em!!

Bread Pudding recipe

Hi guys!!

Here is the Bread Pudding by Pinky Hobbs recipe that I posted to

 Instagram a few days ago.

You will love it!!!

Bread Pudding by Pinky Hobbs

Left over bread, cinnamon rolls or make cinnamon toast

( I used 5 homemade cinnamon rolls I had stuck in the freezer)

6 fresh eggs

5 cups of milk total (I added 1/2 cup heavy cream)

1 cup of sugar ( I used 3/4 c. sugar)

3 tsp. vanilla (Mexican vanilla)

2 tsp. cinnamon

raisins (1/2 cup) or not

Butter the pan ( 9x11) I think :) 

Soak over night and then bake at 325 degrees ~ 45-50 minutes. 

 I soaked mine for 3 hours and then baked.

It is delicious warmed up for breakfast!!

Two Ingredients~Apple Coffee Cake

I found this recipe on Pinterest and I love quick,easy and yummy recipes, so I tried it.  It is every one of those things I described!!! So good!!!  Two ingredients~ Angel Food cake mix and Apple pie filling. Check out the Pyrex Bowl :):) I've had it a long time~

Mix them together and bake {I did spray my dish}bake at 350 degrees for about 50 min or until brown on top.

I made a glaze icing for the top!!  So good with a cup of coffee!
