An Art Share Tag ~

Hi there!!
Today I'm sharing, what I call, an Art Share tag.  It was
created to give away to someone that loves
Art and creating like I do.
I'm using mostly
Stamper Anonymous products (old ones).  Do you recognize
any?  Wendy Vecchi?

The tag is by Ranger and is distressed using Distress Oxide inks.  I also added
in some color with acrylic paints.  Always fun!

Love the dollar stamps!!  This is a strip and I just stamped the ones
I wanted.  Paper Dolls and the Word Strips/Small Talk are by Tim Holtz.
The bottom border is a stamp by Dyan Reaveley.  All adhesive is by
Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.
Thanks for stopping by.

Carved Leaves Small Stencil by Darkroom Door~

Hi guys!!
This is the last of the work I did for Darkroom Door recently.
I had the opportunity to work the new Carved Leaves Small Stencil.  I created
four different cards using different techniques.
You can see step out photos and instructions, on all four
cards, on the Darkroom Door Blog.

These are created differently, but one thing in common, the fun I
had creating with this 5" X 7" stencil.  Darkroom Door has many stencils, large and small and they are all super cool.  Check out the cool stencils.

Scrapbook Page with Quick Quotes and Canon

Hi, Connie here with a scrapbook page using the new collection Spring Showers by Quick Quotes.  I used my iP8720 Canon printer to print out some cool clip art to create with.

First to create the collage, no problem with iP8720 Canon Printer and the Garden Image program that comes with the Canon Printer.  All you do is select the pictures you want collaged and then print.  So easy!

The next step was to find and print the clip art that I wanted to create with.  I googled tennis shoes and picked from that group.

The image was printed out on 4"X6" cardstock, then trimmed out.  The tennis shoes were shaded with Vanilla Cream powderPuff Chalk ink by Quick Quotes.  I loved the look the ink gave them, like they were will worn.

Because the shoe image was bigger than I had expected, I cut it in half and added half to the bottom of the page and the other half to the top of the page.

I stamped some text words, that related to how you would feel when you finish a 2 mile walk, with Deep Sea PowderPuff Chalk ink by Quick Quotes.  I then used the Deep Sea PowderPuff Chalk ink to color the letter stickers, so the words and title matched in color.

Supplies used:
Quick Quotes: Spring Showers Collection ***coming soon***
Quick Quotes PowderPuff Chalk Inks: Midnight Confessions, Deep Sea, Cactus and Vanilla Cream.
Canon iP8720 Printer
Canon Photo Paper: glossy

other:
Darkroom Door stamp
Wendy Vecchi stamp
Scrapbook Adhesive foam squares
stickers

Hi, Connie here was a scrapbook page using the Farmhouse collection and the Anchors Aweigh collection.  So fun to mix the collections. The papers really go well together.  Let me show you ~

The orange (Anchors Aweigh) die cut paper was cut using a giant circle punch.  The background paper is from the Farmhouse collection.  The orange color matches perfect!!  I added some stamping to the background with the Quick Quotes PowderPuff Chalk Inks.  Rich colors and a great look.

The letters were white and then colored with the Quick Quotes PowderPuff Chalk inks. Love how they took the color.

The Curtsey Boutique~stacking boxes!!!

Hi guys!!!
I did this for The Curtsey Boutique with the gift boxes they carry in the Etsy Shop.
The come in 4X4, 3X3 and 2X2.  So perfect  for nesting in each other or a tower by stacking them on each other.
This is how I started:

1. Cut 7 coordinating  papers in all three sizes.  You will end up with one for each side, top and bottom and one for the inside bottom. Take 1/4" off of each paper cut and center it in each side square.
2. Ink around all corners and edges.  This will take a few minutes:):)

3. Adhere to side, top/bottom and inside of all three boxes.

4. Decorate the front of the large box (4X4) and the other two, if you like.  Keep embellishments flat, if you want the boxes to fit inside each other.

5.  Adhere embellishments on with a strong glue.

6. The boxes are ready to fill with treats or small toys and placed inside each other.

Supplies Used:
Boxes: The Curtsy Boutique
Paper: Graphic45
Ink: Ranger/Wendy Vecchi
Embellishments: Graphic45, The Curtsey Boutique
Trim: The Curtsey Boutique
Glue: Beacon
