Art Hangers with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L~

Hi guys!
It is my turn on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Blog.
I have re-purposed project to share using vintage cloths
hangers.  I used the Crafty Power Tape to secure the vintage
photos to the front of the hangers.  The photo was an 8 X 10 mat
black n' white cut in 1" strips used for the background on the
 ART hangers.
There is a step by step tutorial on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Blog.
I hope you will take a look and make some.  The hangers are from a
resale shop but I have seen them online and in retail stores.  The vintage
photos were given to me but I have seen stacks of them at resale shops
reasonably priced.  Pattern paper would look awesome too!

Here is another look with ART attached to the ART hanger~
Keep in mind anything that can be attached to the hanger would make
an unique display piece.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you go junkin’ soon.

Foot Bridge by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps~

Hi guys!!
I have a couple of cards to share using the newly released stamp set
by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  I really love the Foot Bridge Stamp.
The Reeds and Ducks Stamps (from last Friday)
works great with this scene.

Card#1

The card is stamped on mixed media cardstock and then colored
in with Panpastels. Panpastels are easy to work with and so
forgiving.  A white artist eraser will fix any mistakes~just erase
and start again.
This is how I started, water and sky in first.  I created a mask for the sky
using a small circle punch.  I laid it on my sky area and colored around it.
I then took it off and added the yellow sun.

Card#2

This card is stamped with Sketch Blue Distress Ink.  The sentiment is
stamped with Archival / Jet Black ink.  The card front is matted on a deep
blue cardstock.  The reeds (from the Reeds and Ducks
stamp set) are added in both bottom corners of the card.

Small Brick Stencil by Darkroom Door~

Hi guys!
I have a couple of cards to share using the Small Brick Wall
stencil by Darkroom Door.  It is perfect for cards and just
the right size too!

Just playing around for two different looks.  Distress ink was used on the
car card and Distress Oxide on the bottles card.  The small brick stencil
works well with larger images. Stencils make for an easy and quick
card.  Wish I had invented them:):)

Products used: Darkroom Door: Make Art Sentiment set, Bottles, Stars,
Classic Cars Vol.2, Alpha Jumble stencil.
Other: Distress Oxide ink, Distress ink, Archival ink and

Numbers Jumble Stencil by Darkroom Door~

Hi guys!
I have some projects to share using the Numbers Jumble Stencil
by Darkroom Door.  This is a medium size
stencil that is great for card making and mixed media
projects.
I used white Distress Ink on the black page with white embossed
week day stamped images.  The beige page is created using
Distress Oxide inks and Distress Ink for the stencil work.
The stamped images are stamped on mixed media paper and
trimmed out. Dimensional adhesive is used to secure images
to art journal page.
On both of these card examples, the stencil is used to create the
background for the card.  Distress Ink and Distress Oxide inks were
used. The images are colored in with Distress Oxide inks.

Grunge Marks, Alphabet Medley, Lots of Labels,
Portrait Inchies, Candles, Happy Birthday Sentiments,

Alphabet Jumble Medium Stencil by Darkroom Door~

Hi guys!
I have three projects to share using the Alphabet Jumble
stencil by Darkroom Door.  This is a really fun
stencil to create with!
These cards represent positive on the L and negative on the R.
The positive is when the stencil is laid on the paper and then sprayed
with color.  The negative is when the stencil is turned over (with ink spray still
on stencil) and laid on paper. The L card, the letters are colored in and the R card,
they are white.  The leaves were stamped and colored with Distress
Oxide inks.

Several different Distress inks were used to add color to the
stencil.  The typewriter is colored in with Distress Oxide ink.
Love the stars added and the labels.

Products used:
Darkroom Door: Sm. Stencil/Oval, Fine Leaves, Warm Wishes, Lots
of Labels, Typewriter, Dream Big Sentiment stamp and Stars.
Other: Distress inks, Distress Oxide inks, Archival ink, Dylusions
ink sprays.  Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Carved Leaves Small Stencil by Darkroom Door~

Hi guys!!
This is the last of the work I did for Darkroom Door recently.

four different cards using different techniques.
You can see step out photos and instructions, on all four
cards, on the Darkroom Door Blog.

These are created differently, but one thing in common, the fun I
had creating with this 5" X 7" stencil.  Darkroom Door has many stencils, large and small and they are all super cool.  Check out the cool stencils.
