Creative Scrapbooker Magazine ~ Fall 2025

Hi there!!
So excited to share with you an Art Journal Page
that was published in the Fall Issue of
Creative Scrapbooker Magazine.

This is a Canadian publication and it is beautiful.  Full
of amazing scrapbook pages, cards and art journal pages. I hope
you will check it out.  It makes me want to start scrapbooking again!

The background is blended with Distress Oxide inks along with vintage

sentiments are stamped and added to the page, using dimensional adhesive.
To complete the page it is speckled with white acrylic paint.

Products used - stamps: PaperArtsy, Creative Worship stamps.
adhesive: Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. ink: Ranger/Distress Oxide inks
and Archival/Jet Black. stencils: PaperArtsy. embossing powder: WOW!
 other: vintage text paper.

Scrappy Turtle Tags~

Hi  there!
Today I'm sharing some Scrappy Turtle Tags created
with scraps of heavy mixed media cardstock off
of a 12x12 sheet of paper.  Couldn't let it go to
the trash:):)

The tags are created together, so the elements are from the
same stamp set. I used Distress Oxide inks for a colorful mix
for the background.  Stencils by PaperArtsy are used
on the background.

The stamps are by Blue Knight Stamps (Sea Life Set), Carmen
Veranda (border), Darkroom Door (Fish Net BG) and
Studio Light (sentiments).

The Sea Life elements are adhered with
dimensional adhesive by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.
These were fun to create, even stapled the border to the
bottom of the tag.  Buttons are by Buttons Galore & More.
The company links are in the side bar.

Mixed Media card set~

Hi there!
Today I'm sharing a couple of mixed media cards using
stamps and stencils by PaperArtsy.  I love to
create crazy colorful backgrounds and then add
in paper dolls, for the focal.  Cool words are a must!

I start by watering down distress oxide inks and laying the cardstock in
the ink.  Just dip in and out!  You can dab off or let the ink soak in.

Another fun thing to do is spray water on the ink mix and then dab off.
Gives a faded out look on the card background

I go for a distress look, so lines and color aren't perfect!
Products are by PaperArtsy, Tim Holtz/paper dolls and
Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.  I purchased the stamps and stencils
at Topflight Stamps.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Raise a Hallelujah!!

Hi there~
I have been super busy trying to figure out a
new way to blog and show creative works.
My old Dell computer died on me.  I lost all of my links
and book marked sites. Ugh!!!
I'm slowly rebuilding:):)

I love creating mixed media backgrounds.  So fun!
You can use watercolors, Distress Oxide inks or
water downed acrylic paints.  I take a mix of
stamps for the background and then stamp over with
silhouette stamps.  I always use a stamping platform,
to make sure you can restamp the image.
This card has washi tape and a scalloped border at the
bottom of the card.
Stamps used are by Darkroom Door, Blue Knight Stamps
and PaperArtsy. All adhesive is by
Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Thanks for stopping by!!

To do list Art Journal Page~

Hi there!!
I have a fun art journal page to share using
mainly Sweet 'n Sassy/Creative Worship stamps.

The background is a mixture of Distress Oxide inks.  I use
them like I would water colors. The oxide reacts with water
so that gives another distressed look to the page.

The background stamp called Messy Marks really got my
attention.  I couldn't wait to order it.  I colored some of the boxes,
that the stamp creates, with the oxide inks.  Love the look it
gave the page.  This has some collage elements also. The focal,
the bird in the nest, and in the right hand top corner the postage stamp.

Products used:
Sweet n' Sassy/Creative Worship: to do list, Going postal, grunge
elements, Birthday Word Art, Messy Marks BG stamp and Mixed Up
 stencil.
Paperartsy: Mattint Squeezed (used on the postage stamp).
Posca markers, Distress Oxide inks.
Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L: Crafty Foam Tape 108' white

Thanks for stopping by!!!
I have a facebook page for Crafty Goodies
you can follow me from there.
