One Sheet with Darkroom Door~

Hi there!
Today I'm sharing a "One Sheet" mixed media  
creation using a sheet of 12x12 cardstock.  Super Fun!!!
  I chose the New York Vol.2, Number Medley and
 Stitched Borders by Darkroom Door, as my background
  stamps.

I stamped these three sets, in random places, to create a sheet of
mixed media pattern paper.  The color is Distress Oxide inks.  I then cut 
the sheet to make card fronts.  I got 4 cards, A2 size, and 2 tags from the 
one sheet of pattern paper.

I also used the Lots of Labels set and Word Labels to enhance the card
fronts.  These are great cards for the men in your life, like perfect
for Father's Day !!

The tags are perfect for a personalized touch to a gift bag!!

Clipboard Frame Stamp by Darkroom Door~

Hi!!
Today I have a couple projects to share using the NEW
Clipboard Frame stamp by Darkroom Door.
The stamp reminds me of a vintage clipboard so
that was the inspiration.  I use them to showcase
favorite photos and ephemera.

.
 I have all sizes, of clipboards,
 hanging on my wall so it was easy.  Love them!

First project ~ a tag!!!

 This is a mixed media style tag using many stamp sets
by Darkroom Door, to get a messy background.  I'm using
Distressed Oxide ink in the blues & brown tones.  Blue and
Brown look great together.  The Clipboard is stamped out with 
Distress Oxide also. The grunge marks are added using
Archival black ink by Ranger.  Sets included are:
Clipboard (NEW)
Vintage Office, Number Medley, Faded Circles and
You Matter (NEW).

Second project ~ card.

I'm using the Layered handwriting background stamp as
my background for the clipboard frame stamp. It is matted
on black cardstock. The Clipboard (NEW) is decorated with the Number
Medley stamp set and the Small  Wildflowers stencil.  Also added is
 stamps from Vintage Office and You Matter (NEW) Sentiment
stamp. The girl photo is from the Elegant Ladies Collage sheets.

Sitting Cat Tags with Darkroom Door~

 Hi!
Today over on the Darkroom Door Blog all
the details are listed for this fun Cat Lovers Blog Hop.
Darkroom Door is a sponsor and that is why I
created a couple of mixed media style tags for the hop.

I used Distress Oxide ink for the background along with stencils 
and stamps by Darkroom Door.  They will be listed at the bottom
 of the post.

I'm using the Brick Wall stencil for the background along with
a collage piece of text paper.  Part of the sentiment is computer
 generated.

This one I'm using a lined background stamp and I love how it worked
well with the design.  Check out the Cats Lovers Blog Hop over on

Three Circles Stencil by Darkroom Door~

 Hi guys!
Today I'm doing a project using the NEW
Small Three Circle Stencil by Darkroom Door.
I'm also adding in the Pen & Ink set and 
Layered Handwriting background stamp.  These
two stamps are from the last release and I
have been eager to create with them.  

The background is created using panpastels and the Layered
Handwriting background stamp. The ink is Archival/Cobalt.

The bird houses are created out of the Ink & Pen set.
I had fun making them.

The sun is created using the Three Circle Stencil.  I used the
negative of the stencil and erased a circle out leaving a circle.
Easy to do with panpastels, (they are erasable).

Small Three Circle Stencil makes a easy and beautiful sun or moon.

All adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesive by 3L.

Faded Circles Abstract Stamp by Darkroom Door~

Hi guys!
I have two more projects to share using stamps
from the Darkroom Door New release.  This one
is called Faded Circles.  I used it on almost all of the
projects I created. I love it that much!!! 

card no.#1

This card is created with a mixed media type background using
Distress Oxide ink and then removing the ink with water. The Faded Circles
 stamp gives a cool look when used like that. I then stamped the Faded Circles 
on the stencil images and then cut out. I used the 
Sm. Stencil called Tropical Leaves for this.  The large circles are 
from the NEW Small Sketched Alphabet.

card no.#2

This card is created in the same manner ~ removing the Distress Oxide
ink with water drops.  I love the look it gives for a mixed media
background. The Butterfly Stamp is colored in with the same inks I used
for the background. It is then glazed.  The sentiment is word stickers
 by Tim Holtz.
All adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Maple Leaves Background Stamp by Darkroom Door~

Hi guys!
I have the NEWLY released Maple Leaves 
Background stamp by Darkroom Door.  I have two
cards to share. 

This background stamp makes for a beautiful card.  Let me show you~
card no.#1


This is stamped with Distressed Archival ink and colored in with
 Distressed Oxide inks. It was splat with water to give the water marks, 
that I love!! It is distressed with acrylic paint on the edges. The NEW
Faded Circles are added for a mixed media feel.  Other stamps used
are Robin, the NEW Sm. Sketched Alphabet and Long Distance Sentiment
stamp.

card no. #2

This card is created in the same manner as the top card, only
using a different color pallet of Distress Oxide inks.  The flower image is a
small stencil called Tall Flowers.  I also used Abstract Jagged Steps and the
NEW Faded Circles for a distressed look. The sentiment is
called  Adventure Sentiment Stamp. Acrylic paint is used
 to grunge the edges of the card.
All adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Wild Waves Background Stamp by Darkroom Door~

Hi guys!
I have more NEWLY released stamps from 
Darkroom Door. This one is called Wild Waves Background Stamp. 
So wavy and  so cool looking!

I created one card with this stamp and also added another 
New release quote stamp called Wild as the Sea
Quote Stamp.

This card is colored with Distress Oxide inks and highlighted with
white acrylic paint.  The fish come from the Under the Sea Set and are 
colored with Distress Oxide ink watered down (like watercolors).
Edges of card are smeared with white acrylic paint for a distressed
look.
Adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.
