Praising HIM tag set with Creative Worship Stamps~

Hi there!
Today I'm sharing my 3rd project for
Creative Worship Stamps.  I will be creating a mixed media
 tag set, with Women of Praise (love this set).    

When I'm creating sets, it is just as easy doing one as it is three. These were 
fun to create and I loved how the Funky Textures 2 made some cool
borders for the bottom of the tags. The tags are created together, in
assembly line fashion. The only thing is different praise people and
different words.

The tag is a hand cut tag (no die).  When I create with them I like them bigger.
This is about a 3 1/4 W x 5 1/4 L (not counting the stamped borders).
I did a mix of Distress Oxide inks and then added the stencil.
Then came a mix of stamps, going for a messy look. 
 The borders were than prepared for three tags. Stamped, colored and  
cut out. They are stapled to the bottom of the tag. Added a fabric
tie and button to the top.  Did all of this two more times.

Once you get one done, two more go fast.  The last thing I like to
do is speckle with white acrylic paint.  An old toothbrush works
good for this.

Typed Thoughts, Sew Many Stitches, Vintage Snippets and Star

Wilderness, Cracked Pistachio. Versafine: Onyx Black. other: Posca: white
 marker pen and white acrylic paint. other: fabric, twine and embossing powder.

Family of God Card Set with Creative Worship Stamps~

Hi there!
Starting the week with more Creative Worship projects!
Today I'm sharing a card set using the Family of God
Stamp (as the focal) by Creative Worship Stamps. You know 
I can't use just one stamp!

These were really fun to create, especially the card background. I
love making the cards different BUT a set.  Kinda of tricky!!

Both cards are created using the same supplies just a little more of
 this or that and placement is different.  For example: the birds are two
different stamps but same style, so it works well with creating a set
of cards.

I started by placing the stencil over the cardstock and using different inks
created the base and then added in the stamps for a mixed media look. The 
silhouette stamps are amazing with this type of card background.  They 
just pop off the card.  The church die cut is added with minimal coloring.
I just hit it with left over Distress Oxide inks from the card background.

Faith Definitions, Women of Praise, Family of God Stamp & die and

and Gathered Twigs. Versafine: Onyx Black. other: white acrylic paint,
 white embossing powder and Posca: white paint pen.

Art Journal Page with Creative Worship Stamps~

Hi there!
I'm so excited to be Guest Designing for
 Creative Worship Stamps in the month of April. 
I love to Art Journal so that is my starting point. I get
inspiration from scripture, music and everyday life.

I started by adding color (Distress Oxide ink) to the page and
then a stencil was added in.  The Star Pattern Stencil was perfect!!
Water marks were added by sprinkling water, over the ink, and then
dabbing off. So fun!    

 

The stamps were added in and then highlighted with Distress Oxide inks.
I use them like watercolors. I will list below. The words are embossed
on black cardstock.  The Leaf Fronds Stencil is added using Walnut Nut
Stain.  The Faith Definitions Stamp is added along with a round
paper clip for open/closure. 
Products used: Creative Worship Stamps: Have Courage, Grunge Elements 2,
Faith Definitions, Typewriter Text BG, Family of God & die, Vintage Snippets 
and Patient Echinacea. Creative Worship Stencils: Star Pattern and Leaf Fronds.
Ink: Ranger: Distress Oxide: Peeled Paint, Peacock Feathers and
Walnut Stain. Versafine: Onyx Black. other: Posca: White and
Black markers, White acrylic paint and embossing powder.

Such a fun die and it went together easy.  I love easy!!

Studio Light/Tag Tastic
I distressed the tags by adding clear stamps and stencils.  The
tag background is a mix of Distress Oxide inks and white
acrylic paint. 

Added products from Topflight are: Chou & Flowers: Vibrations and
Souvenirs De'te. Tracy Evans: TE46/Lobelia, Paper Artsy: Sara
Naumann/ ESN33, PS323 and PS456 also Eclectica EM149.
My choice of ink ~ Versafine/Onyx Black. The best for silhouette
stamps. Vintage trim and twine. Speckled with white acrylic paint 
to complete the tag.

The second tag~

Added products from Topflight: Chou & Flowers: Vibrations and
Souvenirs De'te. Tracy Evans: TE10/Quirky Birds, Paper Artsy:
stencil/PS456, Sara Naumann/PS271, Hot Picks/HP2401. Vintage
trim and twine. Speckled with white acrylic paint 
to complete the tag.

Open Window Landscape Stamp/Die Cards ~ Blue Knight Stamps

Hi there!!
Today I'm sharing another Open Window/
Landscape Stamp /Die card by
Blue Knight Stamps.  These cards are the same
concept as the Open Window/Portrait Stamp/Die just
going the other way. Perfect for landscape scenery stamps.

Both of the cards are created the same just different scenery stamps.  The
images are colored with Panpastels, speckled with white acrylic
paint and a sentiment from the Reverse Sentiments set is added.  The
window frame is added over the scene using dimensional adhesive.
These are pretty fast when you are in a bind for a card.

The stamps used for this card are: Dense Forest and Forest Animals-Racoon.

The stamp I used for this card is: Island Reflective.  Just one other
stamp besides the Open Window and Sentiments stamp. The Open Window
 is stamped on Kraft cardstock for a different look. All
adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Open Window Portrait Stamp/Die Cards ~ Blue Knight Stamps

Hi there!
Today I'm sharing my third project, as a Guest Designer, 
for Blue Knight Stamps.  I'm creating with the 
Open Window/Portrait Stamp and Die. 

Both cards are being "framed" over a scenery stamped image.  Both are colored using
Panpastels.  The window frames are colored with Panpastesl also.  Once the
 scenery is stamped and colored all that is left to do is add the window frame
over the scenery image using dimensional adhesive.  I always like to
add a sentiment to the card front (cause after all isn't that what a 
card is for, to say something) 

The stamps used on this card are: Birds ll, Praise Him, Garden 
Gate and Reverse Sentiments.  Also used the Sun/Moon
Stencil above the hill.

On this card the stamps used are: Ski Lodge, Child with Sleigh,
Silhouette Dogs and Reverse Sentiments.  Both cards are speckled
 with white acrylic paint. All adhesive is by Scrapbook  
Adhesives by 3L.

Honey Bee & Sunflower Stamp/Die Card and Tag ~ Blue Knight Stamps

Hi there!
I'm back with my second project for 
Blue Knight Stamps.  Today I'm sharing one
card (and a tag) using the NEW Honey Bee & Sunflower
 stamp and die. 

I also added in the Tag die. Very cool to layer the tag on a card front.
Also created a fun Gift Tag!!

To begin creating this card I cut all the elements needed, the tag, and the
four layers of the Honey Bee and Sunflower.  I then stamped each layer, colored
with Distress Oxide inks and assembled with dimensional adhesive.   

I stamped the tag with the Dictionary Page BG stamp, added
a sticker reinforcer and then added the Honey Bee and Sunflower cluster.
The background paper is from the Mixed Media 2 Designer Paper.
The Honey Bee & Sunflower were stamped in random spots on
the background paper.  The tag was added to the card front. The
sentiment was added from the Reverse Sentiments set. On the petals,
of the Sunflowers, they are stamped with numbers from the
 Mixed Media Numbers set. Looks cool!  Speckle with
white acrylic paint.

To create the tag start by cutting the die out, using the die. 
Add color to the tag with coordinating Distress Oxide inks.
Add in Dictionary Page BG, Mixed Media Numbers and
Honey Bee & Sunflower stamp.  Cut the Honey Bee & Sunflower,
color with Distress Oxides and layer the elements as you like.
Put the cluster together with dimensional adhesive and add the the 
tag front.  Cut the oval elements, using the tag die, cut in half,
add color and add as a bottom border to the tag. Add a fabric tie to the 
top of the tag. The sentiment is from the Did You Know... set. 
Speckle with white acrylic paint.
All adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.
