This one is black canvas with some Maya Road, Prima and May Arts.

The one on the left, has Tim Holtz beads dangling, sis owns this one!

The one on the right is made with a flower by The Curtsey Boutique.  I added
gathered ribbon around it to make it larger. More Prima and Maya Road.

This one I gave to my mom. It has an antique shell ( gold script) pin in the center.  I bought it junkin but not at a junkin' price:):)

Christmas Reindeer by Darkroom Door!!

Hi everyone~
I wanted to share a set of cards I made using last years Christmas set by Darkroom Door called
We have tons of deer on our place , so I loved the deer images in this set.

The images are stamped on Kraft paper using  Archival ink ( brown) by Ranger.
I machine stitched a circle around the card for added interest and dimension.

I love that this set has these festive words, that can be used like a banner or in a label fashion.
The cancellation stamps are a great look also.
Looks like Santa hand canceled the cards:):)

Have a wonderful Holiday!!!

Vintage Inspired Christmas Ornaments with Darkroom Door~

Here are a couple more Vintage Inspired  Christmas Ornaments~
I used the Dear Santa Montage sheet and Stitched Christmas for the sentiments.
The die is by Sizzix called Picture Wheel.  The Santa images, on the Montage, sheet are perfect for this.  You will need to trim down a little and then tape or glue them to the back of the picture wheel cut out.

after you have the images in, I backed it with a circle of burlap.
I stamped out the sentiment and added embellishments, to complete the ornaments.
These are really fun to make~
enjoy!!!

Remember this~crocheted pair of gloves!!

Hi guys~
Think back, like 2 years back:):)
Remember those crocheted gloves, my high school best friend gave me~
anyone?:):)

They are so dainty and small, really small.  I love the tea stained look so I made a flower pin out of them.

I used both of them and rolled them, until I got them in a shape I liked.  I sewed them together~no glue.

If  this ever needed or wanted to be back into gloves, that is possible.
I added some ribbon, a vintage button and some Prima flowers.  The stick pins are the ones I dyed using Tim Holtz alcohol inks.

The pin is sewed on also. I love how it came together.  I would love to give it back to my friend. It would look awesome on a jacket or denim shirt:)

My new blog banner (watermark) was made by Angela Pruitt ~ she did an awesome job!!!
I love the Blog Header that Melissa Elsner did for me and wanted them match ~no problem!!! Love the look !!!   If you need any design work done  Angela will be happy to help you:):)

Try It Tuesday~Jenni inspired Christmas Ornaments!

Do you have a hour or so?
That is all you need to make these vintage inspired Christmas ornaments~
Jenni style!

Supplies needed~
JBS mni deck, JBS chipboard Christmas buttons, JBS red/black rhinestones and the JBS spools, hot glue gun ( just goes faster this way), ink (for shading), homespun (for the spools), stick pins, holly leaf and twine.

Ink ( to shade) around the cards.
The card from the mini deck is glued onto the burlap.  I laid the card down and cut around, to get the size.

I then glued the Holly leaf ( just some I had) down followed by the chipboard button.  Roll some twine up and hot glue it under the chipboard button.

Added the stick pins and a Christmas sticker~
The post is up on JBS~
See I told you not much time was needed and so cute!!!!

Hi everyone, Connie here with a card using "Stitched Christmas" by Darkroom Door~
the name alone had me hooked!!!

Love the trees and love the sentiments!!!
This is a 6" x 5" card.  I used Wendy Vecchi's new ink, called Fern green by Ranger.
I stamped out both tree images and put them in a little envelope and began to build my card around that.
