Striped Hammock by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps ~ NEW!!

Hi all!
Today I'm sharing three cards using the NEW
Striped Hammock by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.

The top left card is created using the Day & Night Panpastels
pallette.  The Striped Hammock is colored with colored pencils.
Makes it easy to get the thin lines. The sentiments is from
the One Line Sentiments/blessing.  The bird is added from the
Birds ll set.
The other two cards are created in the same way.  I had fun
adding in the Tim Holtz /paper dolls for a different look.
The backgrounds are a mix of Distress Oxide inks, watered
down, like a wash.  The Striped Hammock image is 
stamped over the background with Archival black ink.
I added leaves from the Sloth set and the greetings
are from the One Line sentiments/blessing.
All adhesives are by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Happiness Blooms Tag Set with Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps~

Hi all!
Today I'm sharing a couple of mixed media tags using
SNS-22-020 Happiness Blooms by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.
These were really fun to create!!!

 
I used Distress Oxide inks watered down.  Add the color by laying
the tag in the ink.  Add one color at a time. Layer!!! Then I started
building the design.  I added SNS-13-054 Typewriter Text
Background stamp then SNS-22-020 Hapiness Blooms stamp
for the focal of the tags.  Color with Distress Inks that were used for
tag background.

Up next is the Grunge Dots Stencil and the Mixed Up Stencil 
(love this one, lots!!).  Last add in more stamps SNS-21-003
Going Postal is a great one for this kind of art!  To complete
the tags speckle with acrylic paint.  I water the paint down
and apply the paint to an old toothbrush.  It gives you
more control on where the paint will go. Try it!!!

These would look beautiful in an art journal or tied to a
gift bag.  All adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Garden Gate by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps ~ NEW!

Hi all!
Today I'm sharing two cards created using the NEW
Garden Gate stamp by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.

The left card is created using panpastels like colors. The flowers
are colored with colored pencils.  I also used the Birds ll and One
Line Sentiments/thank you.  The right card is stamped over an ink
mixture of  Distress Oxides.  I used green ink  tones to get a 
 disressed look for the card background. I also used colored pencils
for he small flowers. Other stamps used are Boys with Pets,
Birds ll and One Line Sentiments/friends rock.
All adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Dearest Friend Card with Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps~

 

Hi all!
Today I'm sharing a Dearest Friend card using the
SNS-22-020 Hapiness Blooms set by Sweet 'n
Sassy.   I also added a fun Texture stamp to
create a background.  

The stamp is embossed and then colored in with Distress
Oxide inks.  I love that they work just like watercolors.
The brick ledge is the SNS-18-030 Texture Tiles 2.

The cute bird is from SNS-12-0368 Nature Silhouettes set
by Sweet 'n Sassy. I love the look of a couple of
vintage buttons to bring in the design and add dimension
to the card front.

Mixed Media Card Set with Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps~

 

Hi all!
Today I'm sharing a set of cards using the  Mixed Up Stencil, by
Sweet 'n SassyStamps, to create a background for two
matching cards.

The stencil is a 6"x6" so it was perfect to make one print and
cut down the middle for a two card mixed media set.  I
really love the green, blue and purple Distress Oxide (watered down
to create a mix) for the card background.

I also used SNS-12-0368 Nature Silhouettes, SNS-14-004 God is
Bigger, SNS-21-003 Going Postal (super fun set) and SNS-13-054
Typewriter Text Background to create the mixed media look.

Tip: The soupier the ink mix is it will make for a really cool
card background.  Put the color on it layers.  Let each layer dry 
then add another ink color.  Finish the look by adding twine
and a greeting.  All adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Lighthouse on the Cliff by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps~ NEW!

Hi all!
Today I have a couple of cards to share using
the NEW stamp called Lighthouse on the Cliff
by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.

The left card is a mix of Distress Oxide ink.  The image is
stamped over the ink mixture.  I took a wet paper towel and
 removed some of the color to give the card a distressed look.
I also used Choose Wisely and One Line Sentiments/congrats.
The right card is colored with watered down Distress Oxide inks.
I use a water brush to make the ink mix "sloppy".  Also used
are Boys with Pets and One Line Sentiments/congrats.
The sky is put in with the Panpastels Day & Night Palette.
A small round stencil is used for the day moon. 
All adhesives are by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Best Pal Card with Doodlebug Designs and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L~

 Hi all!
