You are God Art Journal Page~

Hi there!
Last night I created an Art Journal Page
using a few of the new stamps and stencils by
Creative Worship (formerly Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps)
Instead of my go to medium (Distress Oxide inks)  I used 
Dylusions Spray inks by Ranger. 

The inspiration, for the page, came from a song we sang at church last
Sunday. Such a great song ! Wish I new the name of it to share but I don't.
I jotted down key phrases and words that spoke to me.
This is a new size of journal for me ~ bigger.  Worked
just fine!!

I sprayed the page with coordinating colors of ink and then
added in the Leaf  Fronds stencil.  I used the Typewriter Text

Background stamp to the page with black ink.  I went ahead and 
stamped all the letters, text and flower images on heavy cardstock
and cut them out.

My next step is laying all of the elements, on the page, so I
can see how I want to design the page. I keep adding in stamps and
stencils until I love the page:):) 

The sets I used are: Texture Tiles 1, Vintage Type Alpha, Worthy
King Alpha, Sketched Florals, Typewriter Text BG, Nature
Silhouettes and Grunge Elements 3.  Stencils used are: Leaf
Fronds, Diamond Tile and Cross Stitch.

Creating an envelope for a Mixed Media tag~ ~

Hi there!
Today I'm sharing how easy it is to create an
envelope, for a tag, making it 
just like a card.  Perfect to hand to
that special person!
This is the tag I made the envelope for:

I added a birthday sentiment and stamped a legal size 
envelope with the same stamp used for the tag. The entire process 
took about 30 minutes.  Then I added her name using 
alphabet stamps.  Buttons make a fun embellishment to dangle
from the top of the tags.  I'm using Flower Power by
Buttons Galore and More

Ready to hand to her at church.  I love that I can gift things
that I make.

USA Flag Art Journal Page with Creative Worship by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps

Hi there!!
Today I'm sharing an Art Journal page using
background stamps to create a USA Flag by
Creative Worship by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. 
Love creating flags from background stamps.  You can
use tags also !! Great look!!!

Any stamp that has horizontal lines or a grid type stamp will
work.  Stencils too!  I'm also adding in elements form the Grunge
Element 3 set.  The blue part of the flag, with the stars, is
created by using a piece of a text book page.  It is colored with 

Distress Oxide ink and then stenciled with the Cross Stitch stencil.  

Super fun to create these type of pages.  Keep adding in stencils and stamps,
 a little at a time.  Add in the words or sentiments, speckle with white
acrylic paint and call it good :):)

Other stamps used are: God is Bigger, Psalm 23 BG, Grunge Strip BG and
stencils: Diamond Tile and Cross Stitch.

1776 Art Journal Page with Creative Worship by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps~

Hi there!!
Today I'm sharing an Art journal Page using  
God Bless America and Women of Praise
by Creative Worship by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.

This was a fun page to create. My inspiration was a gathering
 (or rally), celebrating our country. I started with the 
USA Flag.  I penciled the flag in and then colored with Distress Oxide
inks. The outline of the flag is stamped with the Grunge 
Elements 3 stamp set.

The stars are stamped with Distress Oxide ink, cut out and 
placed with Multi Medium Matte.  I will have a list of products
used at the end of the post.  

The bottom section is stenciled and randomly stamped.  The 

silhouette people are from the Women of Praise stamp set.  Love that
set so much!!!  Many things to celebrate :):)

Vintage Love by Creative Worship / Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps~ Art Journal Page!

Hi there!
Today I'm sharing and Art Journal Page using Vintage Love
by Creative Worship by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps   I had fun
creating this and pulling it together using the fun images!

The phone on top is a action wobble (like the phone is ringing loud). 
Who has a phone like that?  I do. Just like the stamped image:):)
It came out of my childhood home.  If only the phone could talk, the 
stories it could tell.

The background is created using Distress Oxide inks, stencils and 
stamps. The focal images are stamped out, colored and then trimmed
out and ready to adhere to the page.  The words are stamps using several
 Alpha sets, that will be listed below.  Flowers are highlighted
with a Posca marker/white.  

Other stamps used are : Typewriter Text BG, Texture Tiles 1,
Mini Grunge Type Alpha, Messy Stamped Alpha, and Sew Many Stitches.
The stencils used are: Diamond Tile, Delightfully Delicate, Mixed Up and
Cross Stitch.

Blessings in Disguise Tag by Creative Worship ~

Hi there!
Today I'm sharing a mixed media tag, vintage
inspired,  using the stamp set called
Blessings in disguise by Creative Worship by Sweet 'n Sassy
 Stamps.


The background is a mix of Distress Oxide inks that coordinate 
together. I then added stencil patterns and then stamped. I use
Archival Jet Black for the image stamping. 

Highlights, to the flowers, are added with a Posca white pen. The 
bottom Sunflower is stamped separate, colored and then
trimmed out. Dimensional adhesive is added to the back and then adhered 
to the tag.  Buttons are added to the Sunflower and the top of
the tag. 

Vintage lace is added to the bottom of the tag.  This will look beautiful
as a gift tag. 
Other stamps used: Blessings in disguise, Grunge Elements 3, Texture Tiles 1
and Typewriter Text BG. The stencils are Cross Stitch and
Diamond Tile.

Not My Will Art Journal Page with Creative Worship by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps~

Hi there!!
Today I'm sharing an Art Journal layout 
using stamps from Creative Worship by Sweet 'n Sassy
Stamps. I like to pick and choose from
different sets to share my inspiration.

To create a mixed media look I'm using Distress Oxides inks and acrylic
paint.  The stamps and stencils are used together to create
a background for the layout.

I used the Your Story set as a background stamp also.  I just stamp parts of
the stamp. I don't put the stamp on an acrylic block.  Just ink the stamp up 
and random stamp in areas of your layout.  Adding acrylic paint also gives 
for a fun look.  Speckle it or add to the edges of the page.

I love stamping the stars from the Grunge Elements 3 set and add them in 
random spots on the layout.  Love the look!
Other stamps used: Mini Grunge Type Alpha, Faith Wordfetti,
Going Postal, Psalms 23 BG, Texture Tiles 1, Your Story,

Grunge Elements 3, To Do List and Birthday Word Art.

Then Christ Came Art Journal Page with Creative Worship by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps~

Hi there!!!
Today I'm sharing an Art Journal Page using many
stamps by Creative Worship by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. 
I love mixing the stamp sets and using parts from
each set.  Hoping to show the stamps go well together.

The inspiration for this page is a song by MercyMe. The song speaks to  
me on so many levels.  Beautiful words!!

The page background is created using Distress Oxide inks, stencils and
stamps. I first add the color, then stencils and last add the stamps.
The Beautiful Bird set is stamped out separately, then colored and
 trimmed out.

Faith Over Fear Art Journal Page with Creative Worship by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps ~

 Hi There!!
Excited to share my 4th project using 
Creative Worship Stamps by Sweet 'n Sassy to create a
mixed media Art Journal Page.  


I created a messy background using acrylic paint and Distress
Oxide inks.  I used stencils and stamps to create a fun, crazy look.

The words are stamped out, each letter cut out and then attached to 
the front of the page.  I used the Sew Many Stitches to give the
appearance the letters had been stiched on. 

The stamps used: Thrill of Hope, Grunge Elements 2,  Texture Tiles 1, 
Going Postal, Sew Many Stitches, Messy Marks BG,
Mini Grunge Type Alpha, Faith Wordfetti and To Do List.  
The stencil used is called Mixed Up.

Speak Life Mixed Media Tag with Creative Worship by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps~

Hi there!
I'm sharing my third project I created using 
Creative Worship Stamps by Sweet 'n Sassy..  I love making the 
mixed media type tags.  So fun and Sweet 'n Sassy/
Creative Worship have the best products for that.

I love making those messy backgrounds and then have them speak to me.
Distress Oxide is a win win for me. Works just like watercolors.

I'm using seven different stamp sets.  They will be listed at the end
 of the post.

Would make a beautiful book marker for your Bible.

Bookmark Set with Creative Worship by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps~

Hi there!!
I'm sharing my second project using the 
Creative Worship stamps by Sweet 'n Sassy.  I love they all go together,
the old and new!! 

I'm using the no.5 craft tags / off white to create the bookmarks.
I chose four coordinating colors and started there.  The
backgrounds are a mix of Distress Oxide inks (watered
down) and ten stamped. 

The top is tied off with twine.  I added old postage stamps for added
interest. 

Adding them to a keyring makes for a cute gift set.

Love God Mixed Media Tag with Creative Worship by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps~

 Hi there!!
I am so happy to share I will be guest designing for Creative Worship
Stamps by Sweet 'n Sassy for the month of June! I will be
  sharing eight projects, four mixed media tags and four
art journal pages.
 My first project ~Love God Mixed Media Tag.

I used nine Creative Worship by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamp sets

to create this tag. The background is a mix of Distress Oxide ink and
bits and pieces of the stamps.  Taking a little of this and that. No need to
put the stamps on a block, just ink up the corner of the stamp and
randon stamp. 

The bird is stamped on a piece of white cardstock and colored
lightly with Distress Oxide ink (watered down).  Then I stamped
 lightly using the Texture Tiles 1 (script) on the body of the bird.
Then trim it out and adhere to the tag front.

Geometric Background,Going Postal, Singing Praises,
Grunge Elements 2, Texture Tiles 1, Birthday Word Art,

Mixed Media Ensemble Project for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L~

Hi there!
Today I'm sharing the last project I created for
Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.  It is three projects
creating an ensemble to be presented at the trade 
shows they attend. 

I used LOTS of adhesive by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L
The 3D Foam Squares White Mix, 3D Foam Circle White, 3D Foan Strips,
Crafty Foam Tape 108', Metallic Foil/Nature and Adhesive Sheets
4x6, just to name a few.  I created a notebook cover, a mixed media
tag and a card.  The backgrounds were all created at the same time and
then the elephants were stamped, colored and trimmed out. 

The tag is a mix of Distress Oxide inks. I used the Elephant
series by KatzelKraft as the focal for all three projects.
The tag is by Studio Light.  The elephant image is stamped,
trimmed out and then adhered to the the tag. Ephemera type 
stamps are added to the background. Material tie for the top
and a snarky sentiment works well:):):).

The cover is created in the same manner as the tag and card.

The writing pad is 5"x8" so the heavy cardstock is
about 11"x9". Folded and scored in the center of the cardstock.

The card finishs out the ensemble.  This was such a fun
project to complete!!

Clustering Buttons on a Mixed Media Tag ~

Hi there!!
I have been creating with buttons by 
Buttons Galore & More and they look fab
clustered on a mixed media tag.  I'm using the 
Spring Value Pack because the colors were a perfect
match with the inks used for the tag.

The background is a mix of Distress Oxide inks. The inks didn't

 get written down but I used a pink, dark pink and a light green.
Any colors, that look good together, will make a fun looking
tag.

Clustering three different sizes next to the focal image brings the eye
to the main attraction. I used thread to add more color to the
buttons.  I really love the look!!
