Silhouette Dogs by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps~

Hi there!!
Today I'm sharing Silhouette Dogs by 
Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  They have
Silhouette Cats too:):)  These are fun to pop in a
scene when making cards are tags.

The card background is created with Distress Oxide ink and PanPastels.  The
Silhouette Dogs are adding in using Versafine/Onyx Black ink.  The tree is stamped 
in from the Day at the Lake set. The picket fence is from The View from my
Yard Die  and stamp set.  The sentiment is from One Line Sentiments/friends rock.

The sun is added using the Sun/Moon Stencil and the cluster of
small birds are from the Birds II set.

This card is created using PanPastels for the sky and trees.  The leaves
are stamped with VersaFine Clair/Shady Lane.  The stamp is called
Striped Hammock. 

The Silhouette Dogs were added to the scene.  The sentiment is
from the One Line Sentiments/Did you know...
The Sun/Moon Stencil is used to put in the Sun.  All
adhesives are by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.
I will be showcasing several NEW stamp sets being released

Silhouette Farmland by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps

Hi guys!
Today I'm sharing cards created using the Silhouette 
Farmland from the NEW RELEASE.  Blue Knight released
 18 new stamp sets, 11 images and 7 word sets.  So exciting!!!

The top card is created using panpastels and colored pencils.
I extended the bottom so I could add the small tractor. I also
used Tractor, lucky you / One Line Sentiments and Birds ll.
The ink is Versafine Clair/Nocturne.
The second card is stamped using Archival/Green Fern ink.
I used a stamping platform on both cards so I could re-stamp
to get a good solid image.  The sun is masked off using a circle
stencil.  I used Birds ll, lucky you and friends rock / One Line Sentiments.
You can find all of the new stamps in the What's new section of
the store.
All adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

NEW Collage Paper by Darkroom Door ~ Elegant & Botanicals.

Hi guys!!
Darkroom Door has come out with a NEW 
RELEASE of collage papers.  If you love creating
art journal pages, mixed media type projects
you will love these.

I used both of the collage sheets on the art journal page that
I created.  I used Distress Oxide ink and Versafine Clair.

I used a ton of Darkroom Door stamps and stencils.  I began by
laying the color down and then layering the NEW collage papers. 
I used papers from both sets.  Super fun!!
Texture paste was added along with more stencils.  This
is a In and Out Journal so it made it easy to stamp and
stencil in. 

When I create art journal pages I just go with it. I rarely have a
plan or design in mind. Most of the time something will trigger a
path of design.  With this page it was the girl and the quote used.

The products I used are listed below.  Darkroom Door does not retire
stamps so they will be on the website here.
You Are Everything, Sketched Numbers, Number Medley,
Carved Leaves Vol.1, Be Brave/Quote, Faded Circles/Abstract are
the stamps used.  Friendship/Med. Stencil and Mesh, Handwritten Script
are small stencils. 
Main thing here is have fun and create!!!

New Stencils by Darkroom Door ~ Three Wonky Strips.

Hi guys!
My last NEW RELEASE stencil to create with
for Darkroom Door is called Three Wonky Strips.
It is a fun one!!!   It makes really cute, easy cards.
Easy is nice!!!

The Three Wonky Strips are on the last row, third one from the left.

Both cards are created in the same manner. I used panpastels
as the color. The top card is very easy. The Carved Birds Vol.2 are

stamped over the stenciled image. The sentiment is added using
Long Distance Sentiment set. Acrylic paint is added to the 
card edges for a distressed look. 
The bottom card the NEW Three Circles stencil set was added

to enhance the Three Wonky Strips stencil. By using 
panpastels as the color it lets you erase the color giving you a

lighter shade of the color. Neat thing to know!!!
The silhouette flowers are from the You Are Everything Set.

So perfect for this.
The sentiments is from the Thank You Sentiment set.
All adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

New Stencils by Darkroom Door~ Round Arch Set.

Hi guys!!
Darkroom Door has NEW STENCILS and they are the bomb!!!

These are great for mixed media and cards. I got to create with
three different stencils.  The first one is the Round Arch Set.
That is the top row, first stencil to the left.

The Round Arch Stencil screamed window to me, so 
that is how I created with it. The color is added using
panpastels.  The background is created using the 
Brick Wall stencil with Archival ink. The leaves are from the
Carved Leaves Vol.1 (one of my fave sets) stamped with
Archival ink. The sentiment and the bird came
from the Love Birds set.  Also added the a sentiment 
strip from the Friendship set.
  The second card is created in the 
same way using panpastels for the color.  I also used 
the NEW Three Circles Stencil set, Brick Wall stencil, Take
Flight and Carved Leaves Vol.1.  The sentiments are
from the Adventure Sentiment set and the Friendship
Sentiment set. 
Both cards are distressed with acrylic paint.
All adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Adding Stamps to Scrapbook Pages~

Hi guys!
I wanted to share a couple of scrapbook pages that I used
stamps on to create the embellishments for the pages. Another
reason I'm a big fan of stamps ~

I used 4 different stamps by Blue Knight Rubber Stamp to create 
elements that go with the grid pattern paper.  

The center image is two stamps put together to create the block
 for focal on the page.  The 3 stamps shown here are:
Silhouette Corner Foliage, Chickadee in the Woods and 
 Silhouette Sportsmen.

The forth stamp used is called Silhouette Stag. The inside page is 
10" X 10". I was able to put it on a Stamp platform so I could
re-stamp the silhouette images several times.  I used Versaclair/
Onyx Black.

On this page I used  3 stamps to help with
embellishing this page. The focal consists of: Boys with Pets,
Momma Bear and Titus, The Great Adventurer. 
Both pages are adhered with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Hi guys!!
My turn on the Topflight Blog today.  I have a pretty (and cute) card
 and it is an easy one.  I love easy and cute!!!
I'm using stamps by Hobby Art and Darkroom Door.
They paired together wonderfully, don't you think?

I have all the scoop on the Topflight Blog. This is card represents

using pieces that you would normally toss.  I dug this out of my reject pile
and found inspiration. The white cardstock has green splats on it and
 that was a starting place for me~

Creating with Paper Rose for Topflight Stamps~

Hi guys!
Today on Topflight Stamps we are showcasing
Paper Rose products.  I'm creating with the stamp
set called Fish & Bubbles.  So cute!!!!

I started out creating a mixed media type background.
I used several stencils along with Distress Oxide ink.

Mother's Day card with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L ~

It is my turn on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Blog today!
I have created a Mother's Day card, mixed media style,
 along with some added vintage elements.

The tutorial is on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Blog along with a complete
supply list.  The right adhesive, for special elements, is what makes
 Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L stand out.  The buttons and vintage lace
were adhered using the Adhesive Dots Medium size.  These Adhesive Dots

Path to the Barn by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps~

Hi guys!

I have a couple of cards to share with you using the Path to the Barn stamp
by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  This is a fun one, so easy to add
small stamps on the "path".
Card#1~

On this card the sunset was created with PanPastels and then the barn

and other elements are colored in with PanPastels also.  The sentiment

 was added and adhered to the card front.

Card#2~

This card is showing the adding of small stamps to

the path.  This was colored in with PanPastels and re stamped

to insure dark, crisp lines.

The clouds were added using the cloud stencil that works great with
PanPastels.  The smaller stamps are added using a Misti or
stamping platform.  Makes it easy to repeat stamping to get a rich
black color.
