Try It Tuesday~ the old Jenni paper's and WRMK!!

Hi guys~
I have such a cool post today. Remember the "old" Jenni paper's, the ones that weren't printed on both sides and were a light weight paper~I found a really PERFECT card for those papers and that is what is going on for
I also bought the We Are Memory Keepers envelope  punch board and those same papers I'm talking about, make a perfect envelope using this new tool.   I made five cards~one more thing, this is where I found the cool card at  HERE.  I hope you will watch her video, super crafty, this girl Dawn !!!

Ok here we go~

card #1

card #2
On these two cards I matched my papers with the envelopes. Makes a nice set that way.

card #3

oops~folded this one wrong~

card #5
I hope you stashed some of these papers away, they really are perfect for this type of project and the cards  are beautiful.  I just checked the JBS Mercantile and you can still get some of the papers, HERE

Clear Scraps ~ Dry Eraser Clip Board!!

Hi guys~
This is my first "official" project for Clear Scraps.  I used the acrylic XL birds to make a Dry Eraser Clip Board.  The paper is Wren by Jenni Bowlin Studio.  I used Ranger inks to color the paper.  The acrylic makes a wonderful writing surface.

I used "real" feathers to add interest and some length to the acrylic bird { the XL birds are on sale:):)

And here it is all junked up being used for what it was intended to be used for.
You can go Clear Scraps and see all of the beautifully, clever projects being posted daily.

Gone Junkin' Friday~link up!!!

Hi everyone~

I have some fun junkin' stuff to show you.  Some of it was given to me and some it I bought.  I'll tell you what I know about them and then It will be your turn to link us up with your junkin' find, a re-purposed item, a vintage item, something you want to re-purpose but haven't yet~you get it? Something way "cool".  OK here's what I have in my waiting bin~

I think this is some kind of trim, maybe for a bed shirt~not sure, but I have something in mind for it.  This was given to me.  Found it in an old house being torn down.

This was a gift from  my mom~ It cost $7.95 brand new.  Not sure what she paid, not sure how I will use it yet.

Old sheet music~love the covers, yes, it was given to me.

These too, given to me.  Aren't they cute!

Yes these, too.  If you would like some of the doilies I will share with the first two people that email me , promise!!

Piano rolls for the old player piano's. Very cool. Yes they were given to me, from the same house that was being torn down.

 I bought these~really. $2 each!! Can't pass them up.

Jenni Bowlin Studio~Mercantile finds and a pop-up card, too!!!

Hi guys~Today I'm up over on the Jenni Bowlin Inspiration Blog.  I made a junker book out of all this cool, vintage stuff~ there is plenty more in the Mercantile, too!!!

This is ephemera, labels, ledger sheets, canceled checks and much more.  I thought it would make a great book for me to add stuff to and take stuff out, when I want to use it on a project.

Also I did a pop-up card using the dies by Sizzix and the brain child of Karen Burniston . Making these cards are so addicting.  When you make a pop-up card it is not what is on the front of the card that counts it's whats in the inside~it will just take a minute,go {please}!
Fun and I was so excited to make a Jenni style pop-up card!!!
You can see both projects HERE~

Create: Embellish May 2013~ finally in my hand!

Last week I finally received my issue of Create: Embellish  (May) 2013 Page 43 looked especially nice:):)  Saw tons of my crafty friends in this issue, too.   Always great to see that!!!!

I never get tired of seeing my work in print, but that just became harder with Northridge Publishing going digital.  So sad about that!!
Here is what I sent in~

This is using Jillibean Soup, American Crafts, Jenni Bowlin and a milk cap.
And that sweet man is my hubby!!!  He is such a good sport about this "scrapbooking" stuff:)

Try It Tuesday~ remember the Hotel key board?

I did a class on this a few months back at Craft Crossing.  I have had it displayed in my home but decided to take all the stuff off of the board, and make a layout~so that is what is going on for

I had a reason as to why I wanted to get these cute embellishments on a page and in an album~I wanted to hang my jewelry on the Hotel key board:):):)
So one step at a time.  Here is what I created, using all of these cool embellishments, that represents 5 awesome grands!!!

I started with Kraft cardstock and just started placing them on until it seemed balanced.
I have used ephemera and mostly Jenni Bowlin products.
And here is how it looks today~

And I love it!! Love the look and love that my necklaces are all in one "cute" place!!!

Have a great Tuesday and I'll
 see ya soon.

Simple Sayings ~

Hi ~Connie here with some card ideas using the new Simple Sayings Set.
I made three tags (using three different sayings and three different stamps).

Photo Stamp/Bicycle and the Simple Saying set.  I used my scraps to put these tags together.  I always feel like I made something for free then:)

Collage Stamp/Friends and the Simple Saying Set.

Collage Stamp/Butterfly Garden and the Simple Saying Set.
I also put together three 4 X 4 cards using the simply say set and the
Viva la Flora Photochips.  Again I used my scrap bag.

I'm going to enjoy this set ~I can already tell.  Check out all the new stamps in the Darkroom Door Store by: C. Mercer
