Try It Tuesday~ different ways to use those handmade cards!

Hi guys!
Thanks for stopping by for Try It Tuesday!
I create lots of cards and started to think of a couple of
different ways to use them.  I know sending them in the mail is a great way,
but what if you have that very special one you would like to keep~
Here's a couple of ideas~

Remember this pop-up card, from the Darkroom Door and Karen Burniston Blog Hop
a few weeks ago, it makes a great embellishment for this scrapbook page.

Instead of the sentiment and signature space I used that space for the journal space.
The perfect place to tell the story of that day.

Here is another idea, remember these cards from the

I really loved them and thought they would look great as a cover for a note pad.
So I stuck a note pad inside the card.  I did score another 1/4" line below the fold line.

By adding a score line, the cover will lay flat. The back will be shorter
but with the note pad on it doesn't look short.

Simple Blessings by S.E.I.~ A Pop-Up card !

Hi, Connie here with a fun Pop-Up card using the beautiful Simple Blessings Collection by S.E.I.  I love the fall colors in this collection, along with the die-cuts and stickers. So easy to create something beautiful when you start with something beautiful.

With a Pop-Up card it is all about what is inside the card.  I clustered the beautiful embellishments from the Simple Blessings Collection to create the inside of the card.

The front of the card is just as pretty using the Simple Blessings Collection.  I speckled the front and inside, of the card, with black Tumble Dye by S.E.I.

This is my last post for S.E.I. and I just wanted to say it has been a pleasure creating with your beautiful products. Thanks You for having me.

Jenni Bowlin Studio~Mercantile finds and a pop-up card, too!!!

Hi guys~Today I'm up over on the Jenni Bowlin Inspiration Blog.  I made a junker book out of all this cool, vintage stuff~ there is plenty more in the Mercantile, too!!!

This is ephemera, labels, ledger sheets, canceled checks and much more.  I thought it would make a great book for me to add stuff to and take stuff out, when I want to use it on a project.

Also I did a pop-up card using the dies by Sizzix and the brain child of Karen Burniston . Making these cards are so addicting.  When you make a pop-up card it is not what is on the front of the card that counts it's whats in the inside~it will just take a minute,go {please}!
Fun and I was so excited to make a Jenni style pop-up card!!!
You can see both projects HERE~
