Hi guys!
I've been out of town for a few days enjoying family and friends.
I have been trying to work with new (to me) mediums ~ watercolor pencils are up today on
Try it Tuesday!
* Gather supplies~
{ Archival Ink, watercolor pencils, watercolor paper, water brush and rubber stamp}
At the end of the post I will list the products I used.
* Stamps image on watercolor paper.
* Color image, like you would in a color book. Use different colors of pencils.
* Paint over the areas you colored (with the watercolor pencils) with the water brush.
* The colors will come to life. They will become bright and will be smooth,
just like when you paint with watercolor paints.
* If the colors are not dark enough add more pencil and then water.
* When you are done you can add some highlights and shading, plus
some sparkle is always fun!
* The background of my card is sprayed with Dylusions Ink Spray on white cardstock.
Stamps: Darkroom Door/Collage Stamp, Simple Sayings.
Ink: Archival and Dylusions by Ranger.
Watercolor Pencils: Faber-Castell
Wink of Stella/ clear
Other: button, twine, paper twine.
