A little junkin' from Indiana~

Hi guys!
I have a some junkin' to show you from our recent trip to Indiana.
I really think Indiana has the best junk.  I always bring something home with me~

Can't help it, I'll buy these old school books every time.  $10

$12.  Think the green color sold me:)

jello molds ~ $6.

Reel set~ $10.
I have no idea what to do with this, but I really thought it was so cool and great
color, maybe that is what caught my eye :)

My daughter-in-law gave these to me. She collected them in her teen years, She
doesn't remember why.  I think it was the beautiful faces~ I can only
 imagine the life they lived~

Try It Tuesday~jello heart tins!!

Hi guys!
Thanks for stopping in for Try It Tuesday~
Remember these heart jello molds ~

This is what I did with them:
Easy project and super cute!!!

I used some  Valentine paper by Authentique.  The paper is full of vintage and retro Valentines.
I cut two of them down to fit inside the jello tins.

The side are embellished using a vine die by Elizabeth Crafts.
The flowers are vintage Prima.

Thanks for stopping by~
Have a great day!!

Try It Tuesday~ vintage jello molds re-purposed!

Hi guys!!
Thanks for stopping by for Try It Tuesday!!!
Remember these~

I have a hard time walking by a small jello mold or tart tin.  So many cute and
inexpensive gifts to make with these vintage tins.  If you can't put jello in them how
 about doing something like this~

These are made to sit on a tree branch, shelf or wreath.
Ingredients~
tart tins or jello molds
bird nest /small
berries
pine branch
pine cones, sticks, twine
photo pins

Fill the cups with these items.  Instead of the film strip you could
add a family or child photo.

You can usually find the jello molds and tart tins at an antique
or junk store for $1 each.  If I find them ,I buy because I can always think of ways
 to use them.
Thanks for stopping by~

Try It Tuesday~treat covers!!

Hi guys!
Thanks for stopping by for Try It Tuesday (my favorite day of the week)~
Remember those jello molds~

My idea for these~
Treat Covers ( you know, like a cake cover but treat instead)

The metal findings (toppers) are by Fab Scraps.  The charms are from
Tim Holtz and junkin' !
I have them setting on small butter plates~so cute!

I used a strong wet glue for the toppers.

Special "treat" for the grands!!!!
