I went junkin' with my mom and sis a few weeks ago and came across this cutlery box. I walked by it and then had to go back and get it (mom insisted). I love how it was put together, with nails. The tray was stained and made me like it even more.
I had been wanting to organize my WOW embossing powders. I thought this would work good~
The reason being~ I have been doing lot's of this and I need all of the powders in one place and organized. Love to use vintage, to organize, in my studio. Love the look :)
Very fun!!!! I'm making pins, magnets and rings.

ReplyDeleteGreat find, Connie, and it looks like it worked perfectly for your embossing powders!
ReplyDeleteooooooo what a great find! love it.
ReplyDeleteI love the box. You need to update us on your home for the Spring. I always love seeing the photos of how you use your incredible finds.
ReplyDeleteOhhhhhhhh loving your finds!! Did you see the PINK cart I scored yesterday!?!?!?!?!?!? I am IN LOVE!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteHey Connie...I love those cutlery caddies too. I have several of them but I hang them on the wall. They look really neat hung up. I have about 5 or 6 of them. I love all the old vintage stuff to organize and decorate my space too. It adds so much charm!
ReplyDeleteWho knew how much we would love this 'ol junk!?!
ReplyDeleteWay cool for storage, or as Hobbemom said,
hanging on a wall -sounds cool too.
I took what you said (quite a while ago) about not using
'plastic' storage and I love that idea. I've been accumulating
non-plastic storage; slowly:) and I sure like it better~
You find some of the nicest things junkin'
ReplyDeleteFunny as my friend and I just organized her embossing powders in a wooden cutlery tray..but not one with as much character as yours.
Another great junkin' post - can I come next time?
