For my project I chose to make these mixed media style zippered bags.  They would be great to store art brushes and markers in or maybe makeup brushes.  Many uses for them.

Tutorial~

Supplies needed: gel plate, brayer, DecoArt acrylic paint, acrylic block, texture shapes, Stencil1 stencils, Buttons Galore & More and canvas zippered bags. Side note:  It is just as easy to make one as it is the do four bags at once.
#1. Choose 3 to 4 paint colors, from DecoArt, and add small drops of paint to the gel plate. (The gel plate will stick to an acrylic stamp block)
#2. Using the brayer and going away from your body, smooth out the paint.  Don't over mix.  Just a couple of times going away from your body will do the trick.
#3. Use a texture tool and run it through the acrylic paint, that is on the gel plate.
#4. Treat the acrylic block, as you would when you use rubber stamps. Stamp on the canvas.

#5. Keep stamping using the acrylic block until the paint is all off.  Stamp different sections of the bag.
#6. Repeat the process of adding paint to the gel plate.  When you want to start fresh, wipe the gel plate down and rinse the brayer.  You are ready to start again.
#7. When the bag is covered with color, it is at this point you are ready to use Stencil1 stencils on the bags.
#8. The last step is adhering buttons by Buttons Galore & More.

I also created two more projects using DecoArts, Stencil1 and Buttons Galore & More~

Instructions~
#1.  Supply list:  DecoArt Misters, DecoArt Modeling Paste, Stencil1 and Buttons Galore & More.
#2. Place the stencil on the canvas tote bag. Use the back of a palette knife to apply the modeling
 paste to the project.
#3. In a downward motion apply the paste.  When the stencil is covered (or as much as you want  show) pick up the stencil.  The design will be on the canvas bag.  Place the stencil in a tub of water and soak for a few minutes.  The modeling paste needs to be dry before using the paint misters to add color.
#4.  Stencil other images on the bag carefully, not to disturb the modeling paste.
#5. Add color to the background of the bag with the DecoArt Misters. Add trim to finish bag.

Last project, a small canvas portfolio created using a gel plate, DecoArts acrylic paint, Stencil 1 and Buttons Galore & More.
