Try This Tuesday

This is a card kit by Basic Grey/Capella. It took me a few hours to put the cards together and I got eight completed cards - ready to send. The kit comes with rub-ons, chip board stickers, cards, envelopes and the pieces of pattern paper to enhance the fronts. The cards still have that handmade look and charm.
Here are my completed cards. You can do them exactly as the instructions say or add to them. A quick project and the results are great!!!!

We have four nieces and one nephew getting married this year - two down three to go, so these cards will be put to good use!!! Thanks for stopping by and I'm still looking for blog followers and if you find you like my blog, snag my blinkie and be sure to let me know!!! I will do a special RAK for that!! Have a great day!!!

Bird card tags!!

I taught my journal class at Craft Crossing Saturday and had a wonderful time with Pam and the girls!!! We did this tag as our "bonus" project.
All you need is a 4"x4" piece of Kraft cardstock and 3 3/4"x3 3/4" piece of pattern paper. I used some scraps of Jenni Bowlin paper left over from the journal. I used the birds by Spell Binders and added a tag for the hemp or ribbon. Finished off with some buttons and the sentiment.

I also sprayed the cards with Glimmer Mist or Perfect Pearls, to give them a shine and a distressed look. This is a perfect tag/card for you to make with your scrap papers!!! Thanks for stopping by and do something "crafty" this week-it will make the week go by quicker!!!

Try This Tuesday

On this layout, to anchor my cluster, I used a Jenni Bowlin bingo card. Actually it could be anything that you build your cluster on , a journal spot, chip board, felt, Primas-you get the idea! I pulled a few stems off of the Prima set and attached them to my card, added a button and put the rest of the card at the top of the layout. Hope you give "clustering" a "Try This Tuesday!!!! Have a great day!!!

some Pink Paislee!!

I love making these little tag cards. What I love the most is I can tie it to the gift and not have to worry about finding an envelope . I love seeing the beautiful papers outside on the gift instead of covered up in an envelope on the inside!!! These were made with Pink Paislee/Bayberry Cottage Collection. The cards are about a 4"x4" and then add a decorative shape for the tab to hang from and tie. That's it.
This is a layout I did with the same paper line-Pink Paislee/Bayberry Cottage Collection. I love the bright greens with black with a hint of blue!! I'm going to my mom's next week to make jelly so I'll have some pictures later on that. Have a good week and be "crafty"!!!

Craft Crossing Journal Class

This is the journal we are going to make at Craft Crossing on August 28 at 2:00pm. I used Jenni Bowlin papers and the bird cage die is from Tim Holtz!! That die is quickly becoming a favorite of mine!!! The frame is hand cut and painted with the distress/crackle paints by Ranger. We will use the bind-it-all to make it a journal book. Give Pam a call and sign up. Hope to see you there!!

Try This Tuesday!

Have you ever tried a Hambly transparency? Well I think you should-to be honest I haven't either but loved how the page came out. I cut the middle out of the transparency ( so I would have more of the transparency) to use on the die cut paper by Pink Paislee. I attached the transparency over the cardstock and then attached it to the die cut paper . I used regular tape adhesive and placed Prima's to hid the adhesive. Transparency's make great cards also!!! have a great Tuesday and be "Crafty".

water fight!!!!!

Another vacation page from when we met the kids at Branson, Mo. They were all dry when they started and were soaked when they got back to ground but tons of laughing went on. I love that!!!!! This layout is using some "old" Fancy Pants and Bazzill cardstock. Added some sticker letters and it's done. Another quick page. Have a crafty day!!!

love those Croc's!!!

I'm not the only one that loves Croc's!!! My grandson said,"Nini can I try your Croc's on and you take my picture?" He usually doesn't like me to take his picture- so I was happy!!!! I used scraps of Sassafras Lass pattern paper on this and just layed the scraps side by side to cover the Bazzill cardstock. Very simple page layout!! Have a great weekend evryone!!!

Some Scenic Route

This is a quick layout done using border punches. I love layering them using different coordinating papers and by doing that you add tons of color to your page. You can't tell by the picture but I added pop dots to the first shoe picture for dimension. Will be posting more scrapbooking stuff later-got to get it photographed!! Thanks for stopping by and have a "crafty" day!!!

Tag card!

This is starting to be my "signature" card. I love making these and being able to tie them to the gift instead of covering all your work up with an envelope makes me love them more!!! They are quick and you can decide if you want them to be dressed up or down.
The size is 4"x4" Kraft cardstock. I used Glimmer Mist. mask and cut the scalloped circle out with my Spellbinder dies. The bird is also a Spellbinder
die - just added a button for charm and some twine or hemp. Remember to leave a comment or better yet, sign up to be a blog follower and your name goes in twice for the stamp sets. I will post a winner Tuesday!! Thanks for stopping by!!!!

Try this Tuesday

This was a really fun project!! I went through my pictures and pulled out the pictures that had tons of GREEN in them-Green just happens to be my favorite color. My eyes are green, I gravitate to green things, my walls in my house are painted green, I have green chairs - so why not a green scrapbook page!!! Try it with your favorite color - just a simple page that makes a statement about your favorite color!!! Have fun with it and let me know what your favorite color is and I will have a drawing for some cute little stamp sets. If you become a blog follower your name goes in twice. Help a girl out- my goal is 100 blog followers!!!! I will announce the winner next Tuesday!!!!
