Try It Tuesday~scrapbooking a mistake!

Hi everyone~time for Try It Tuesday!!. How about scrapbooking a "mistake":):)  That is always fun. These are my granddaughter's birthday invite cards~my daughter-in-law added a year by mistake.  Andrea told her, I'm eight not nine, mom!!!  In the trash they went but I got one before they went in.  She re-ordered with the correct age but I thought what a cute scrapbook page the mistake would make.  I used some Sassafras Lass, 7gypsies and The Paper Studio.

We all had a good laugh over this and now we will always remember when an extra year was added to Andrea's birthday cards!!

A cool piece that my dad made to put on the back of the choir chairs at his church.  He designed and hand crafted this. Mom gave my sister and I each one.  I put projects that I'm working on in mine.  Keeps my desk clutter free!!!   Hope you have a great day and I'll see ya soon!!!

It was so hot that day we were ready to get back in the car and continue on our journey!!  I'm going to my parents again, but I'll still around. Have a good day and I'll see ya soon!!

love those Croc's!!!

I'm not the only one that loves Croc's!!! My grandson said,"Nini can I try your Croc's on and you take my picture?" He usually doesn't like me to take his picture- so I was happy!!!! I used scraps of Sassafras Lass pattern paper on this and just layed the scraps side by side to cover the Bazzill cardstock. Very simple page layout!! Have a great weekend evryone!!!

Sassafras Lass tri fold card

This is such a fun project to make. I call it a card but it could also be called a mini album. This would also make a great Father's Day present.
All you need is one sheet of card stock. Cut it in half making two 6x12 pieces. score at 6" . Then over lap R side to left making three sections.
Cut two pieces of ribbon 9" each. Adhere one piece of ribbon to back of tri fold and the other to the front.
Then patterned paper size is 5.5". You will need five of these cut at this size. Your card should be taking shape now. Add your embellishments and enjoy!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!
