Darkroom Door~ Try card.

Hi guys!  I have a card using one of the new Quote Stamps called "Try" by Darkroom Door to share with you.  This quote really spoke to me in a personal way.  What it says is so true~ 

* The card is approximately 5" X 5 1/2".

* The background is created on white cardstock, using a stencil and the Splats set by Darkroom Door.

* The Quote is stamped on white cardstock and cut down to 3" X 4" and then matted on yellow cardstock.

* Stamp a few Splats over the Quote.

* It is popped up with foam adhesive and centered on the background mat.

* The mat is adhered to a yellow card base.

* Twine and a button are added.

Them~ a scrapbook page with Quick Quotes!

Hi, Connie here with a scrapbook page using the Gypsy Road and Joy Ride Collections by Quotes Quick .  One of the things I love about Quick Quotes is~ the papers ! They match and work great
with other collections by Quick Quotes!!  That is a plus!!!!

This is a grid design (favorite of mine).  I used the PowderPuff Chalk Inks with background stamps to add some interest to the Gypsy Road 300 (black polka dot) paper.  The GR 300 is paired nicely with Joy Ride 200 (yellow polka dots) from a different collection.  They look great together!

Try It Tuesday~ A fun gift idea!

Hi guys!!!

I have a really cute gift idea I want to share!

I did this to my boys for Christmas and it was fun to watch them try to figure 

out what I was trying to pull :).

This is the finished gift.  

The theme is " gas money"!

I wanted the gift to be given in a unique and fun way~

Ingredients needed:

pinto beans, one toilet paper cardboard insert, jar, money:), tag, gift tags 

and ribbon or scarf ( as in my case)

1. Put beans in the bottom of the jar so if it is turned over, all they will see is beans.

2. Place the cardboard tube in the middle of the jar and fill the jar with beans.

3, Put the money or gift in the cardboard tube,

4. Place the lid on.

5. Add ribbon or scarf.

6. Add tags 

***The funny part~the beans make the gas****

Beans are well known for making gas!

Kinda of cool and so fun!!!

A Mini Album with Clear Scraps~

Hi guys! I have a cute mini album to share with you, using the new

Quick Quotes & Petaloo~gorgeous together!

Hi, Connie here with an "off the page" project using the gorgeous flowers from Petaloo and the gorgeous papers and Powderpuff Chalk Inks from Quick Quotes.  So fun creating with these fabulous products:)

Instructions:
*Take an old muffin pan and using Tim Holtz's paper Rosette die (large) cut 6 rosettes out of Gypsy Road 300 and Gypsy Road 400, 3 of each paper.
* Ink the rosettes with Sunset PowderPuff Chalk Ink.
* Using 1/2" foam, adhere the rosettes to the center of each section in the muffin pan.
* Adhere the butterfly by Petaloo to each section of the muffin pan.

* Using the burlap trim, from Petaloo, create a center banner for flowers and the date.
* Wet glue or hot glue will work for this.
* Attach a favorite photo, to one of the sections of the muffin pan.

This is the muffin pan before I started altering it with the beautiful Petaloo and Quick Quotes products. You can see more inspiration, using the Petaloo flowers on the Petaloo Blog here.

Try It Tuesday~ Remember those game cards?

Hi guys!

Thanks for stopping by today for Try It Tuesday.

Do you remember these~

I wanted to use two of them for a front and back cover to make a score keeping book, for games. 

I used some old notebook paper and cut the paper down to fit the size of the cards.

Then I used the Bind-It-All machine to complete the process of making a ring bound book.

Then the fun part begins~decorating the front!

Supplies~

October Afternoon, Prima, twine, Jenni Bowlin, Jillibean Soup and

 Vintage game card.

Just for fun~I added a pocket to the back, for those winning game cards!

Hope you are inspired to find a front and a back and make a book~

If you don't have a way of binding the book, use rings.
