Mason Jar gift card ~ with Creating Made Easy!

Hi Connie here,  back with another project from the September Creating Made Easy Kit by Clear Scraps!! Remember the one Mason Jar page that I didn't end using for the mini recipe holder album ~ here is what I created with the one page.

Kcsept4

My idea was to use this,  along with a cook book or other kitchen item, for a gift.  Write out a couple of your family favorite recipes and add this to the gift.  You could even add a gift card in with the recipes:)

Instructions:
* Remove plastic sheet from both sides of the Mason Jar acrylic page.
* Trace the shape of the jar on one piece of pattern from the September Kit.  Cut it
out and ink around the edges with black ink.

* Next is the pocket. Use the corrugated cardboard, found in the kit, for this.

Kcsept2

* Cut to 5.5" W x 4.5" L ~ Use a corner rounder on the bottom corners.
* Ink around the edges with black ink, for shading.
* Adhere pocket to front of Mason Jar page with Beacon 3-In-1.
* Cut out images from the papers in the kit and embellish the front of the pocket.

Kcsept3

* Add burlap through the album holes in the handle. Cut 1" strip. It will come undone and look messy:)
* The only product I added to this, that are not in the kit, are the ink, twine, and one flower.

September Creating Made Easy Kit Club ~ Mason Jar Mini!

Hi, Connie here to share with you this months project, using the September Creating Made Easy Kit.  I loved the cooking theme throughout the kit. My first project is a recipe card holder album, using the Mason Jar acrylic album by Clear Scraps So perfect for this~

Kcsepjar1

I used four of the five pages for this.  I had six recipe cards, so I only needed the four pages (but I did do something cute with the other page, stay tuned~another post:)

I popped the acrylic heart up on the front of the album.  Then I clustered elements around the heart. I used a few other products for the front cover.  They are Quick Quotes PowderPuff chalk ink, twine, button and a leaf die.  The flower is made from the burlap in the kit.  Cut a one inch strip and twist and roll it.  Turns into a messy rose~glue ends together.
The inside pages~

The one inch strip holds the cards in place and make them easy to remove
from the album.   Cute gift idea to add with some kitchen towels ~

Try It Tuesday~ A fun gift idea!

Hi guys!!!
I have a really cute gift idea I want to share!
I did this to my boys for Christmas and it was fun to watch them try to figure
out what I was trying to pull :).

This is the finished gift.
The theme is " gas money"!
I wanted the gift to be given in a unique and fun way~
Ingredients needed:
pinto beans, one toilet paper cardboard insert, jar, money:), tag, gift tags
and ribbon or scarf ( as in my case)

1. Put beans in the bottom of the jar so if it is turned over, all they will see is beans.
2. Place the cardboard tube in the middle of the jar and fill the jar with beans.
3, Put the money or gift in the cardboard tube,

4. Place the lid on.
5. Add ribbon or scarf.

6. Add tags

***The funny part~the beans make the gas****
Beans are well known for making gas!
Kinda of cool and so fun!!!
See ya soon~
