Abstract 10 by Darkroom Door~

Hi guys!
I'm sharing more of the newly released stamps by
Darkroom Door.  Today I created two cards using the
Abstract 10 (mixed media type stamp).  It reminds me of
the "heart beat line".  The cards are created with that in mind.

See what I mean? So cool looking.  It actually is Rachel's (owner of DD)
writing. Makes a lovely stamp.

Card #1~

These were created as slimline cards, because of the stamp.
I used Number Medley for the background with
Archival/Jet Black ink. The heart is from the Hearts set.
I stamped the image using stamping platform, so I could
re-stamp to get a dark imprint. The sentiment is Celebrate
 Sentiment stamp.

Card #2~

Another example of a great scribble line :):)
I used Distress Oxide inks to create the background and then
stamped over the background, using a stamping platform.
The butterflies and the sentiment are from the new
Spread Your Wings set. The sentiment is embossed with white
embossing powder. All cards are adhered using adhesive
by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Peaceful Retreat by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps~

Hi guys!
I have been creating with more stamps from
the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps new release.  Today
I'm working with Peaceful Retreat. Such a beautiful stamp!

Card #1~

This card is stamped on mixed media paper and stamped with
Archival/Jet Black ink.  It is colored in with
Distress Oxide inks.  I added the ducks and the sail boat from
the Foot Bridge set.

Card #2~

This card is stamped on heavy white cardstock and
stamped with Archival/Jet Black ink. I used a stencil
to erase a circle in the sky. I used PanPastels for the color.
The stencil was used again to create the glare in the water.
Love the look!!
Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L is used for adhesive on
both cards.

Getting Organized with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L~

Hi guys!
Today is my turn on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Blog.
I'm using the Self-Laminating Pouches/Cards XL by
Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.  They make a great cover/
protector for an organizing notebook or pages (as in my case).

I have a vintage file board (for lack of a better description) that I
wanted a cover for.  It is where I keep my design team dates
and assignments listed, so I can stay on track:):)
I have all the details on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Blog.

Jigsaw Background Stamp by Darkroom Door

Hi guys!
I have another fun  stamp to share by
Darkroom Door. It is called Jigsaw Background
Stamp.  I did two cards showcasing this stamp.

The Jigsaw is stamped on cardstock to create the background
for the card.  It is colored in with Distress Oxide inks.  I took
four colors and repeated them creating a mixed media type
pattern.  The birds (Carved Birds Vol. 2) are stamped with
Versafine ink (on a stamping platform) to insure good coverage.
The corner stamp is from the Puzzle Pieces set (new release).
Sentiment is adhered to card front (You Are Everything set).
All adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

The second card is created in the same manner as the top
card.  The sentiment is embossed for a bright, fun
look. The small puzzle piece is stamped with Number Medley
set (so it will stand out). Distress Oxide inks are used for
this card too. The small bird is from the Carved Birds Vol.1
set.

Hello Spring by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps~

Hi guys!
All week the Design Team for blue Knight Rubber Stamps will be
sharing NEW stamps and guys they are fabulous.  I will be
creating with Hello Spring.  A little
something for everyone!!

These cards are so whimsical and fun!!! The image is the
same I just created different backgrounds for each card.
Card #1~

This card was stamped on a yellow Distressed Oxide background with
a diamond  and circle stencil.  The stencils added that distressed look
that I so love. The image was stamped with Archival Black ink.  The image
is colored in with Distress Oxide inks.  The sentiment is embossed and
 added to the card front.

Card #2~

On this card the top is Distress Oxide ink watered and applied
like a water color. The bottom is a checked border stencil.  I used Archival
ink for that.  This card has some acrylic paint for highlights.
I use Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L foam products for dimension.
