Try It Tuesday~scrapbooking fun!

 Hi guys!!  These are last months layouts that I hadn't posted on my blog yet.  These are using pattern papers by Elle's Studio called Cameron.  I did six layouts with this collection.   Added in JBS  also, the colors match so well..

Loved the yellow and blue tones in this one.  I ended up splattering some dark blue water color on the layout, going up one side.  Have you ever tried that?  Maybe it is time:):) 

Fun technique and I love the look!!!

 

This layout, I'm using the same paper pack by Elle's Studio and stamped my grandson's name and date of the layout, with the Cameron/acrylic stamp set.  I have been stamping more and more on my pages.  Love using the stamps to make embellishments and for lettering.  Try It!!! That is what

 is for, to encourage you to try new things and me too:):)

Couldn't leave with out sharing this  way cool powder jar, I got on a recent junkin' trip.  I loved it~it was hard to part with, but my Sis will take good care of it!!

Jenni and Elle's together~

Ephemera~old labels with JBS Mercantile~

 

I love using vintage labels in crafting and scrapbook pages.  This one is from the JBS Mercantile. It is especially beautiful and goes well with the Elle's Studio paper products.  This is another of my layouts I did for my June work for Jenni Bowlin Studio.  If you love the old labels the mercantile has some really neat ones.  You can find them HERE.

Jenni and Elle's Studio~

This is one of the layouts I did using some product from Elle's Studio.  Talk about a perfect merge of products these Company's work great together. I love the deep rich blue in the Elle's Studio paper it matches JBS really well.  The chipboard buttons are one of my favorite products by JBS.  I have way too many but ................... love the choice it gives me:):)

JBS, a bottle and Elle's Studio~

 

While on a nature walk back in 2009 I came across this bottle.  I took a picture of it but left it there, just like I photographed it.  Spring forward to 2013 ~ I went back to that exact place and the bottle was still there just like in the picture.. This time I brought it back to the house and cleaned it up.  It became a re-purposed project for Jenni Bowlin Studio.

JBS carries some really cool old labels in the Ephemera section of the Mercantile.  The label on this bottle is one of those.  I also used JBS feathers and butterflies.  The flowers are by Prima and the ribbon is by May Arts.

Mini album with Helmar and Maya Road~

Hi everyone!! One of the partnering companys with Helmar is, the fabulous, Maya Road!!! I put together a mini album, of my grands, to use as a brag book!!! I'm always wanting to show them off, what better way, so lets get started~

The cast of characters are~Helmar, Maya Road, May Arts, Elle's Studio, Buttons Galore and More, Jenni Bowlin and Smooch Spritz. Awesome, right!!!!

Using the chipboard by Maya Road I decorated the front with all kinds of goodies, spritzed and glued with Helmar 450 Quick Dry. You only glue once with this stuff~

The inside is cardstock quality paper scored at 3" sections.  I have five grands, so I added enough paper to make five 3" sections.  I lined the pattern up exact so the splice is not noticable.

To close it up I used May Arts ribbon and tied it around~very fun project and it is a lovely gift idea!

And here is the front again with the inside showing.  The Jenni Bowlin paper on the front is adhered using Helmar Professional Acid Free glue.  It doesn't wrinkle the paper and works great for this type of work~ Thanks for stopping in today and I'll see ya soon!!

I'm home from seeing my parents and we all got lots accomplished!!!!!Things are looking up!!! I have some exciting news to share when I get  the wrinkles ironed out~and I'm lov'in all of your junkin' finds~you know who you are!!:):)

Another recycling project~

Hi everyone!!  I have been recycling again~I can't help it !!! I took these product containers from Little Yellow Bicycle and Tim Holtz and made some easy little gifts. I have Easter on my mind~

I used Jenni Bowlin scraps.  I just can't bring myself to cut sheets of paper for this kind of crafty stuff!!

The ribbon is by May Arts.  I also used Prima, Elle's Studio, Jenni Bowlin {new bird punch}.  These don't take long at all. Just cover the cardboard insert, in the package, and then fill with treats and decorate the front~couldn't get any easier. I used Helmar 450 Quick Dry to glue the embellishments to the front of the container. Works every time.  I love easy!!!

Ride with Epiphany Crafts~

Hi everyone~I had a busy weekend but a fun weekend.  I had my class at Craft Crossing and I took a class!! I will post my canvas I did soon.  In the mean time these are some Valentine cards I did for Epiphany Crafts.  I used the heart button studio 25.  The papers are by Canvas Corp.  Also used was the packaging card from the Jenni Bowlin bingo card set.  I colored the trucks with Faber-Castell big brush pens.  The banner's are by Elle's Studio.  Many of you may recognize the stamp~ it is by Stampin' Up! All of this is held together by Helmar 450 Quick Dry.

Try It Tuesday~remember this........

Hi everyone~do you remember these?  I found them on one of my junkin' trips~today for Try It Tuesday I'm going to show you what I did with them!!!! Most of the time I have an idea what direction I'm going to take with my layout but not this time.  I knew I wanted to use Jenni Bowlin the new {new to me} line Haven so I started there.

This has some Elle's Studio on it too. Love the little banner and date box pieces!! The title is Jillibean Soup and I sprayed it with a red mist to color it.

A close-up of the bits & pieces and the "grands"~I just want to STOP the clock, they are growing so fast and fabulous!!!!

Then I got an idea to make some journal tags{to use on my layouts} with the clock flash cards~keeping with the TIME theme.  The embellishments are mostly Jenni Bowlin~

Here is another take on using the flash cards as journal tags~Did you notice also the bolt of yarn~it makes a great display piece, just get a stick pin and your project to the yarn to photograph!!! Love the look~

On all the projects I used Helmar 450 Quick Dry {my go to glue} and Helmar Zap Dots!!!
