Bridge & Stream by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps ~

Hi guys!
I have a couple of cards to share using the NEW
Bridge & Stream stamp by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.
This another stamp that is great to pop a silhouette image
on.

Both of these cards are easy to create and will take about 30 minutes
to start to finish.  I just love projects like that.
Gives you more time to create more cards!
The top card is stamped over a Distressed Oxide/mixed media
type background.  I used Distressed Archival Ink/Hickory Smoke.
Then the Bible Verse 1 and the Silhouette Sportsman were added.
The second card is stamped directly onto vintage text paper.
I used Distress Archival Ink/Ground Espresso.  Added a word
sticker for the sentiment. Along with the  Boys and Pets stamp.
Adhesive, for these projects, are by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

I use this on all my inks. Makes such a difference!!!
You won't drop the ink pad on your project.
 Love it!

Dictionary Stamping~hand carved stamps.

Hi guys~This is just a quick share on a couple more dictionary stamped pages.  I used hand carved stamps this time.  The top one is hand carved by Stephanie Ackerman.  It is carved from an eraser from Target out of the $ bin.  Clever girl!!!

This one is by Louise Nelson {my team mate } from Jenni Bowlin Studio.  I love feather's so I was so tickled this one was in last months Mercantile kit and I was able to purchase the kit.
I so want to take a class on this!! Thinking about this one from Balzer Designs~

The telephones are by Avocado Arts {little one} and Darkroom Door.

Hi guys~ just a quick post to share with you a very "lovely" stamp.  It is by Jenni Bowlin Studio and I think about a couple of years old, doesn't matter to me:):) This is one of my favorite images, so sweet.   I love the way it looks on the vintage dictionary page.

Here is the same image stamped on white cardstock and cut out.  Other supplies used are : kraft cardstock, Epiphany Crafts square shape,  Jenni Bowlin Studio, twine and red ink mist.  The label is a stamp by Jenni Bowlin StudioThe x's are by Darkroom Door. Love that stamp, looks like stitches to me.

Dictionary Stamping=FUN!!!

Hi guys~this all started with a visit to Godelieve Tijsken's  blog {she is a member of the Darkroom Door's DT } she is very talented and very nice.  I asked her could I Dictionary Stamp with her~so that is why I'm posting this.  This dictionary is old ~copyright 1955. Some of the pages are torn but for the most part in good shape.  Here is a sampling of my first stampings~

If you noticed I also added tissue tape to mark where my stamping are and I repaired some of the torn pages with it, also.

I used two of my favorite Darkroom Door stamp sets to begin with.

I used black ink {Memento}and Archival Ink by Ranger .  I really can't say one was better than the other.  The designs I chose are not heavy in ink.  The airy design works best so you won't have bleed through to the back of the page being stamped.  I colored with H2O's by Lumin Arte.  I will also try chalks, mists and several of the Viva products.  I also decided to put a cover on my dictionary {you know how it is ~one thing leads to another}

I'm not sure about the big sofa buttons ~ it's just laying there!

This is how I made my cover ~ very simple.   I used felt and machine stitched.  The sides are whipped down by hand:):)
