Hi everyone~
Remember this, all those pages that were not in albums, stacked up in every corner
and you say, "heck, that's not too bad" ~well, this is not all of my pages! I had 13 hanging up in my studio, several framed in the house and more than several on display at Craft Crossing{the LSS that I teach at} that by the way is fabulous!!!
So I started organizing and putting them in albums!!!
Started piles of month and year~
and then I found that some of my years had other years included in the wrong year~ ugh!!!! What a mess~but I stayed with it until it was right!!!
I keep them in a closet in my studio~hoping for a bookshelf one of these days!! BUT, this is a great start!!
The albums are by American Crafts {3 ring} and hold about 28-30 layouts, depending on how much dimension is on the layout. I have over 40 Creative Memories albums and 12 American Crafts albums!! My poor kids!!

Today is day 9 of the vintage blog series, and remember Amanda is giving away goodies~just leave a comment to be considered!! I'm up over on Helmar~hope you will stop in and I was up on ScrapStreet yesterday with Graphic45. Have a great day and I'll see ya soon!!!
oh wow look at all these albums--how fun! i love to be organized but i must confess i HATE putting the layouts in the albums--i have no idea why. i should do this!
ReplyDeleteI use the AC albums too. Love them! I use the window on the front to label them and then I use a Dymo label on the inside of the front cover so I can see it when they're lined up but I like your idea better. You can see the year at a glance.
ReplyDeleteLooks awesome my friend.. I loveeeee how you added the year to the outside!
ReplyDeleteI love the AC albums too. Used to do WRMK till M's stopped carrying them. I'm running out of bookshelves. lol!!! You are soooo organized. My space is so small thought I I have to put pages in albums immediately.
ReplyDeleteWay to go getting all organized!!!
ReplyDeleteOMGOSH~! Connie!! Mine are NOT in albums either...thinking I better get my tail moving on this HUGE process. Good for you on getting this task done. Hmmm...I'm thinking I should scan them in and give the boys a few CDs instead! LOL!! Great motiving post :)
ReplyDeletewow that's a mighty lot of albums....
ReplyDeleteThose look so GREAT lined up in such pretty rows! I love how you've labeled them! Love Penny
ReplyDeleteWOW, great job Connie. All of my layouts from the last 2 years are in
ReplyDeletea large basket. I need to get some albums too. You have inspired me.
Oh wow, I'm in awe of all your albums! Talk about heaps of wonderful memories to pass along to your family. :-) Good for you for getting everything organized!
ReplyDeleteHeee! I think that I will be heading down this road shortly! LOL! Good for you for being so organized!
ReplyDeleteIt's uncanny that you share this on your blog today because I was JUST sitting on my bed organizing my layouts. I still have one more of those 12x12 plastic storage bins full. Love those d-ring albums and will probably switch everything to those soon. Probably the LEAST favorite part about scrapbooking. LOL
ReplyDeleteoh, wow - you have been busy! I vote for a video flip through of some pages!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, I LOVE the side tags you labeled them with!! ^_^ AC binder albums are my fave as well!
ReplyDeleteYuk, you reminded me of something I so need to do! I think I like 3 ring binders the best, yours sure look great.
