Epiphany Crafts and Crate Paper celebrating Christmas~

Good morning !!! I wanted to show you these Christmas note pads that will make perfect teacher gifts and take very little time to whip up.  I used Crate Paper/Peppermint Collection along with Epiphany Crafts Oval shape bubble cap.  This is my favorite shape in the collection along with the Star, Square, Round, Scallop ~ yes, I have more than one favorite!!!

You will also need a Letter size note pad cut in 3rds~ 3 1/2″ X 12 ~ you will have a 1 1/2″ strip left. One pad will make 3 of these. I used the Tops Brand ( Office Depot). They will cut them for you also. Sweet, right!  Cut a strip of paper for your note pad to sit on and then a flap for the top and decorate away.

I used bakers twine and chipboard stickers from the Crate Paper Collection to decorate mine.  I used Helmar 450 Quick Dry for the chipboard embellishments.

Happy Helmar Holiday Sketch Challenge~

It is that time again~Helmar has the December sketch posted!  The Design Team did an out standing job with this sketch~awesome work ladies!!  This is my take on the sketch by Lydell Quin.  You have all month to get your posted on Helmar's Blog.

I used Bella Blvd. and Buttons Galore and More, Faber-Castell Big Brush { for out lining} ~all of these manufactures have partnered with Helmar. Love thes fun products!  The Helmar products I used were Helmar Zap Dots, Helmar 450 Quick Dry and Helmar Acid Free.

I stayed pretty close to the sketch~but invite you to go take a look at all the LO's and projects posted~they will blow you away!!!  Week-end is almost here~see ya soon!!!!

Dear Santa~this is cool!!

Hey everyone~How's the shopping coming?  Mine is coming along. I plan to finish by the week. I have had some projects in the works that needed to be completed~I got those done yesterday. All I have left to do is put decals on a car {wink, wink} for a super cute three year old.  This is another Dear Santa post. I have more picture's on Helmar's Blog and I would love for you stop in . 

This project came to me while I was laying on the couch~trying to over come a headache.  All you need is some tart pans.  Make the rosette's using Tim Holtz's die and  for the cupcake papers.  I used some Basic Grey Christmas paper. Darkroom Door's Dear Santa images , Helmar 450 Quick Dry, and glitter, buttons!!!  The leaves are from the Tim Holtz's Holly and branch die.  I used Lumin Arte to paint them.

Try It Tuesday~some Jenni & Tim

Hi~Happy Tuesday!!!!  I did these tag cards or tags~tonight while listening to Helmar's Ustream show. Tracy or Jessica is on every Monday .   So I was well entertained.  I used mostly Jenni Bowlin supplies and Tim Holtz.  The top of the tag is covered with tissue tape about two strips is all you need. the bingo card will cover the rest of the tag.

I used Jenni Bowlin's chipboard buttons for the centers and decorated around them with the Holly leaves from the Tim Holtz die.  I painted them H2O's by Lumin Arte.  I used a paper bag to cut the leaves from. Once painted they dry fast.

I used Helmar's Craft glue to glue everything to the bingo card.  I speckled with acrylic paint finishing them up.  These will look super cute tied to some homemade bread {wonder who I can get to make the bread}:):):)  It is a problem~

Dear Santa~

Good Morning, peeps!!! I had my class yesterday at Craft Crossing teaching the Muffin tin I did for Darkroom Door, using the fabulous Dear Santa Collection of old time Santa images!! Here is mine~

The ladies in the class did a fabulous job and I loved the old tin pans they came up with!!!! Future junk'in peeps, for sure!!! So here we go, there muffin tins~

Love how this one came out and I LOVE her tin!!!!!

Helmar Holiday Blog Hop

Hello everyone and welcome to my stop on the Helmar Holiday Hop. If you have been following along, you should have hopped here from  Rae’s blog. If not, you just have to stop at the Helmar Blog and start from the beginning. There are goodies along the way and we don’t want you to miss a thing.

  So here we go~

   The Helmar products I worked with are the Fabric Stiffener & Draping Liquid and the Premium     
  Craft Glue.

First I wanted to share a little about each Helmar product. The Fabric Stiffener & Draping Liquid is very easy to use. It is a fast way to stiffen or color ribbon, lace, crocheted items or material.  This comes in concentrate form and may be thinned up to 50% with water.  Instructions are on the bottle.  The Premium Craft Glue bonds with almost all types of fabrics, paper, soft woods, and most other hand crafted materials. Dries clear and sets quickly!  So with all of that great glue this is what I made~

My 2011 Christmas Wreath, with all my favorite "little peeps" on it.  I cut tags out of Basic Grey Christmas paper and attached my photos to them.  I adhered them, all around the wreath, with Helmar Craft Glue.  Other supplies used were Tim Holtz's Rosette die and Holly leaf, Darkroom Door's Dear Santa Collection.

The number cards are by 7gypsies and the holly leaves were cut out of a brown paper bag and painted with Twinkling H2O's by Lumin Arte.   I added some red buttons and pearls by Kaiser to the holly leaves.

The next part is the garland { made with Darkroom Door's Dear Santa Montage set} and the bow {May Arts ribbon} that was stiffened using Helmar's Fabric Stiffener & Draping Liquid.

I used 1/8 of a cup and 1/8 of a cup of water. Soaked my ribbon in it and squeesed it out.  Held it up in front of a fan and it was dry and ready to tie on my wreath in 10 minutes.  I loved that. no mess and no wait!!! It acually looks like Kraft paper after it dried.   I made the garland by adhering the montage pieces to the bakers twine and then draping it in the center of the wreath~

I ended up with it here~love my "little peeps"!!!

Sweet surprise~

I received this beauty in the mail today and wanted to share it with my blog viewers!! The glass ornament is covered in bead work so sparkly and beautiful ~and look at the card it matches the ornament!!! Thank You Dee!!!!  What an awesome gift!!!

She is my biggest supporter and understands my journey and she knows when to call , she just knows!!! She is a crafty buddy I met while on another team and we have stayed in touch with each other but we will meet one of these days!!!!
