Try It Tuesday~Epiphany Crafts & Crate Paper

Hi everyone~we are getting close to the five day count down!! I wanted to share a Christmas layout and some ornaments with you, using Epiphany Crafts and Crate Paper/Peppermint Collection.   On this one I used Epiphany Crafts Star bubble cap with the Crate Paper Collection.

I machine sewed the string, the stars are dangling from~love that look!!!!  The great thing about the Epiphany Crafts bubble caps is you can decide for yourself which paper you want to use and make your stars custom to your layout. Very cool!!! I love options and with Epiphany Crafts you get that!!

These are some  Christmas ornaments I made using the Crate Paper Collection and Epiphany Crafts Stars!!! Love the funky trims that come with the Crate Paper Collection!!! So festive looking and fun~
The embellishments were adhered with Helmar 450 Quick Dry Glue!!!
See ya soon!!!!

Epiphany Crafts and Crate Paper celebrating Christmas~

Good morning !!! I wanted to show you these Christmas note pads that will make perfect teacher gifts and take very little time to whip up.  I used Crate Paper/Peppermint Collection along with Epiphany Crafts Oval shape bubble cap.  This is my favorite shape in the collection along with the Star, Square, Round, Scallop ~ yes, I have more than one favorite!!!

You will also need a Letter size note pad cut in 3rds~ 3 1/2″ X 12 ~ you will have a 1 1/2″ strip left. One pad will make 3 of these. I used the Tops Brand ( Office Depot). They will cut them for you also. Sweet, right!  Cut a strip of paper for your note pad to sit on and then a flap for the top and decorate away.

I used bakers twine and chipboard stickers from the Crate Paper Collection to decorate mine.  I used Helmar 450 Quick Dry for the chipboard embellishments.

This post is up on Epiphany Crafts blog ~ leave a comment  on the EC Blog and you will in the running for a great prize package full of Epiphany Crafts and Crate Paper goodies.  It is open until next monday ~so go comment away and we have a new blog!!!!!!  So I hope you check it out!!!  Back to wrapping presents ~ see ya soon!!!  Almost forgot~ check this out  HERE.  Let me know if you leave a comment on DRD or Craft Gossip and we will have some Crafty Goodies prize!!

more CHA projects for Epiphany Crafts

Hi everyone ~ continuing on with my projects for Epiphany Crafts that are at CHA this week.  I used October Afternoon/5 & Dime on this, I thought it was perfect in every way!! Don't you love the head hug ** so sweet**  I used Epiphany Craft's bubble cap 25 round and the fabulous 25 oval bubble cap. The buttons were adhered with Helmar 450 Quick Dry.  The sketch, I used,  is by Shimelle.

On this one my focus was the handmade button cards using EC button studio 14 round.  The pockets are by Maya Road.  We have five "grands" and so I put one pocket for each "grand".  The layout was embellished with Primas and different trims.  I adhered with Helmar 450 Quick Dry. The pattern paper is by Crate Paper!  Here is another view with pictures peeking out of the pockets~

I have two more projects that went to Chicago with Epiphany Crafts ~ so stop back on Friday! Have a great Thursday and  See ya soon!

Try it Tuesday~

Hi everyone~I know I have shown these before {eek, I have three}but they are tons of fun to make!! This one I did for a past issue of Ready, Set, Create Magazine.  The pattern paper is by Crate Paper~a favorite of mine.  This line is Restoration and it is pure vintage goodness!!!

The carton is a four pack of Starbucks~oh yeah!!! Bring it on~I'll drink some cold coffee to make this!!!
The embellies that come with the Restoration line~rock!!! Pure vintage goodies, that is for sure!!! I used Helmar 450 to adhere these lovelies, added some Kaiser pearls and got my scissors out and fussy cut the flowers from the pattern paper!!  I added Rock Candy by Ranger to the flowers~for a little sparkle!!

The lids are decorated with some of the die cuts from the paper line.  I used the Crackle Accents by Ranger to seal the top of the caps.  Like I said I have done three of these and they are all full of buttons and beads!!!  Have a great Tuesday and drink some coffee and SAVE the bottle!!!

Try it Tuesday~some card tag ideas.....

Long time ~ no post , right!!!  Yes I have been super busy with "little people" that are the greatest!!  Such fun..... but I need ( want) to get back to work~so for Try it Tuesday I thought I would show you some cute, quick cards.  These are tag cards ~ I love that term.  Instead of putting them in an envelope you tie them to a gift bag or gift.
I used Kraft cardstock and some Crate Paper and the office type ~manila tags ( top only).  These are about a 4"x4".  I painted some chipboard  pieces and stamped a sentiment on the front.  I also machine sewed the Crate paper on and used some glimmer mist.

These little cards are a little bit smaller.  I used a scallop punch to make the center piece and used some very cute cup cake stickers ( EK Success) to place in the middle of the scallop oval , circle or square.
I used white cardstock as my base and added a little sparkle with glimmer mist!!  These both are great for using your scrap papers up also.  I hope you will give them a try and have a great Tuesday!!!

Scraps!!

I love using up my scrapbooking left overs!! That is what I did today-scrapped my scraps. The "Freaky Friday" challenge over at AC Bailey is using those bits and pieces, so we have room for new stuff. On these two layouts I used some old Crate paper/lemon grass and added embellishments!! Get your scraps out and use them up-then you will be ready for some new stuff.
Thanks for stopping by and have a "scrappy day"!!!

Crate paper

I used some "old" Crate paper for this layout. I machine sewed around the
paper to give it a border and add some character to it. Again using up old supplies by doing simple, cute layouts. hope you try this today!!
